A place where the history of the Russian avant-garde and the role of Vitebsk in it comes to life. The guides will help you with this.
Definitely, this museum should be visited with an excursion, at least for the first time.. Then you will get into the spirit of this building and its heroes. In fact, there are not many exhibits, the main thing is the building itself. The museum has a lot of multimedia with historical references, works by artists and photographs.
For us, the tour was conducted by Elena Leonidovna, a person who loves his job and passes this love and passion on. Many thanks to her!
A very interesting museum with a cool exposition telling the story of UNOVIS and early Soviet art in Vitebsk. The museum is interactive, the interiors have been restored well, in one hall the floor is made in the form of a poster "Beat the whites with a red wedge" - just fire! There are many photographs of pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary Vitebsk, part of the exhibition is devoted to the cultural life of the city at that time.
There are also excellent souvenirs: magnets, brooches, earrings, paintings and even installations based on the work of UNOVIS artists.
The museum is super, fire-fire! The guide Ekaterina is well-versed in the topic and at the same time is open to dialogue with visitors - a very accommodating, enthusiastic and not "burnt out" guide! Two hours of the tour flew by unnoticed, leaving a huge amount of food for thoughts and the desire to Google, find out, watch :)
The exposition is very professionally designed, the content and form complement each other perfectly, and the theme of the museum is revealed one hundred percent. Everything is modern, interactive, stylish - and incredibly interesting.
P.S. be sure to stock up on souvenirs, they are also filled with great meaning here!
