The idea is good, the implementation is not very good. I remember that there are a lot of cats there, but there is an unpleasant smell and dirty everywhere. Even the toilet has a dirty washbasin and mirror, not to mention the places where the cats are. The kotokafe consists of a cooler with hot water, disposable cups and tea bags. Drinking tea there is not very pleasant for the above reasons
We arrived in Minsk and decided to go to the cats, as I adore them. I expected to see healthy kitties and a good establishment, as a result, each cat has a problem with its eyes, it looks like conjunctivitis, a bad look of wool, a disgusting smell, dirty trays, bowls where the kitties drink and eat are also not washed. People are allowed to wear street shoes, which can be a carrier of various infections, worms, fleas and so on. Seals often itch and bite themselves, their eyes fester, they react to little, as if they are being stuffed with something. Trying to do a good thing only makes it worse for cats. It was a pity to give money for so much poor condition of this "museum", it was sad for the seals, it would have been better to send them to the shelter, and not make a business out of it. They also give out cats "in good hands", and you don't know if he is vaccinated or not, what kind of health the cat has, and so on. It's a terrible place.
Parents with young children who do not know how to behave with animals also come, take toys and wave right at the muzzle of the seals and chase them around the institution so that the cats do not come out afterwards. It's time for this institution to change its policy on small children or for parents to teach their children how to handle animals.
I will write an application for this place, because it is a mockery. I hope they will be sent to shelters, where they will be put in order and the cats and kitties will find their loving family.
It's more like a living area with cats than a museum. The staff is very friendly, they offer tea with sweets. You can draw a picture of a cat and hang it on the wall among hundreds of other pictures
We were here with a girl. The place is pleasant, the cats are all friendly and affectionate. It's cool that there are such places, and cats have time to overexpose and people are happy.
We went to the "Cat Museum" with high hopes to see some exhibits and live seals. Yes, there are seals, they didn't sleep, they ran around, they even showed their character, but the exhibits are a couple of shelves and they are scattered in a layer of dust. The staff is friendly, there is a place to drink tea, but you won't want to do it because of the smell. 2 stars for helping the shaggy ones.
There is no desire to return.
There is another place like this in Minsk and I want to go back there.
It is very loudly said that this is a museum. I expected more. My son is a big fan of seals, I saw that there is such a museum, I decided to go.
In fact, the apartment has 10-15 cats, a small set of cheap figurines and children's paintings on the wall. Most cats hide, the rest run away to stroke, they are bored with children's attention. The apartment is unkempt, rather dirty. Ticket price #22 bel.rub...(children + adults) are very overpriced. Three stars only because the son is still happy with the very fact that this is a CAT MUSEUM))) and the director is a CAT there.
I agree with many of the comments, it's a pity that I didn't read them before coming. We've already listed all the minutes: the floors are barely washed, the corners are marked. Bleach could fix the situation.
Shoe covers are not sold, there is no dressing room to create at least the appearance of sanitation. Dim light, cramped space, the drawings are already hung from the ceiling, literally hanging on their heads. The cats have nowhere to go, they break into the staff room, almost knocking down the door, because the children have already been tortured.
Tea, sweets are already for luck, what will remain of the crowds of schoolchildren who are periodically taken there by 10-15 people.
Cats are really sluggish, they don't react to anything.
There is nothing to say about prices anymore. They paid and ran away after 10 minutes. Even in little Kaluga, they gave less, but they were almost alone in a room with an air humidifier, a bunch of board games, and a hammock. There is something to compare it with.

A wonderful place! We visited in early June. Cats are beautiful, some are even more than very supportive of people, they allow themselves to be stroked and scratched. The most important thing is that this is not just a museum, but also a place where the owners of the organization treat, protect and look for kind hands for kitties. Sincerely, warmly, and it is clear with what care they treat pets ... we highly recommend visiting, because all funds go to maintenance and treatment ☺️
A very kind place. And the people working there are wonderful. There are a lot of ponytails that you want to stroke and squeeze, and they really don't mind) be sure to go
As they entered, so they left.
I understand that cats live there, but can I take care of them? The smell is terrible. It's hard to stay inside for a long time.
There is no such smell in other museums with cats.
I went to this "museum" with my child yesterday. Impressions are below average. Yes, there is an unpleasant smell and even the flames of these smoking sticks cannot kill it. The second point is the price. To give 22 rubles just to stroke cats, which at the same time, for the most part, just sleep or avoid attention in every possible way, is clearly too much. I asked the administrator why such a price? She explained that the rent is very high. A seditious thought occurred to me: why would homeless cats live in a room with a view of the Palace of the Republic until recently? After all, they were no worse off living somewhere in Sukharevo or Chizhovka, where the rent would be significantly lower. The answer came naturally when I saw the receptionist chatting affably in English with foreign tourists..
It's just uwaaaaaaa cool. You understand the cats and the atmosphere, its own. But please, if you want to buy a cat, come there. Believe me, you will be welcome there)
The place is disgusting! The seals are in terrible conditions. The seals are in very bad condition . There is dirt and stench all around . Tickets are unreasonably expensive! Rather, infections are walking there and it is very dangerous for children there!!
An institution that you want to leave as soon as possible. It's dirty everywhere, it stinks a lot (it's clear that cats smell), but it looks like the trays don't change every day, the cats itch all the time, It has nothing to do with the museum, rather a cattery, expositions 0, everything that the staff does is sprinkled on our hands and says that we have an hour of time. The unsanitary conditions are terrible. If you come, it's definitely without children and only for reasons of mercy, although it's better not to. For the price of a ticket, you can assign a governess to each cat... The cat lover is ordinary... I don't understand how such a good idea can be so fucked up (it obviously brings normal money)...
Cats are wonderful and cute, they give you a good mood for the whole day!! The only thing is, almost all cats have festering eyes because of the feed, you do not need to save on cats – feed a straight woman!
Oh, guys, this is certainly not quite a museum, but I would say an apartment on the floor under the roof. The first thing that knocks you down on the way to the museum door is the smell. Well, that's understandable, animals also live there. Just be mentally prepared for it. The place itself is small, quite a lot of exhibits with seals have been collected. The cats themselves are smoothed out, which is already asking a lot from these people. The ticket price for such a museum is, of course, expensive.
Forget about this place! It's terrible:
1. It stinks of urine. Cleaning of the premises is carried out very rarely.
2. Cats are clearly sick or under some kind of substances. They are sluggish, one of them clearly has a festering eye.
3. There are no children there in any case — the worst unsanitary conditions.
ps. the ticket for July 20, 2023 cost 15p.
The Yandex review says 8-10 pp. I don't care about the difference in money. The key in the review is above.
Horror. Maybe someone will visit this institution, but we were disappointed. It's a pity both the money spent and the fact that the children who wanted to get there so much were disappointed. From the acrid smell of cat urine, I wanted to escape from there faster. The idea is good, but in real life everything is deplorable. I don't recommend going there. Don't waste your money and time
In fact, it is a shelter. The smell is specific. Well, that's it)). I run cats. You can't touch them)). Just watch.

This is not a museum, but with this name the organizers manage to draw attention to the problems of abandoned animals. In fact, this is a kotokafe, a shelter in the very center of the capital. It should be noted, a very nice place with charming fluffy creatures.
Cats are well-groomed, they have a place of personal space where you can hide from a person, although it may be worth making it even more secluded and closed. The staff monitors discipline and, if the Red-Haired Bully starts to molest the Black-and-White, the Black-and-White will be carefully taken out of the conflict zone before the wool flies.
Also, wonderful felt magnets in the theme are sold in kotokafe - very inexpensive for such high quality and manual work.
There is a place to wash your hands. It's clean enough. There is a smell, but it is not critical for me. On the contrary, I would light less incense so that the animals would not be poisoned.
Kind, pleasant kotokafe workers, it is clear that they take care of their business.
It's a so-so museum, all the seals are asleep. It's a little expensive for 15p. I hope they will go to charity and the development of the museum further, since now the price should be 3 times lower.
We arrived at 16:30. All the cats were sedated (or maybe something worse) and they didn't react to anything. The employee brazenly lied to people that cats had a "quiet hour", while they did not react to anything at all. Everyone was just asleep. What is the level of hypocrisy that in order to take the cat for yourself, you need to "fill out a questionnaire" from them to understand whether a person can keep a cat. But what will cats have with their psyche and health after such doses of sedatives?
We were here before, two years ago, the cats were absolutely adequate. It's just terrible right now. They began to leave only at the end of the working day, apparently, at this time they stop stuffing drugs. And lo and behold, they began to react to stimuli, some began to scratch /bite people who got them. They started hiding from people, fighting, playing, etc.
At the same time, some were apparently so stuffed that they either lay motionless all the time, or even looked dying.
In general, if you don't feel sorry for cats, come look at this attraction-the knacker's yard. They are no different from gypsies selling animals on the street.
To be honest, I'm shocked that there are so many negative comments.
First, keep in mind that you come to a museum where there are a lot of seals. What many people write about the smell - given my good sense of smell, I only heard the smell of aroma sticks mostly. The unpleasant smell was almost inaudible .
Secondly, it is stressful for cats to constantly see new visitors, especially arrogant ones, who take them immediately in their arms , which is extremely undesirable to do. This is an animal, not a toy , the administrator immediately said that some cats allow themselves to be stroked, some do not, everything is logical, all cats are different . The fact that they are sleeping, it is quite logical to assume that they are tired because of the visitors. In general, I am happy with the atmosphere, because I love kittens in general. A very pleasant administrator, it was September 9th, 2022.
The ticket is 12 rubles per adult, which is quite acceptable.
When children are allowed in, this is a mockery of animals, dear parents, instruct that cats should not be pinched and forcibly taken by the scruff of the neck!! It becomes painful to look at the poor seals . The fact that cats should run around for you to entertain and amuse you - they should not, they are living creatures.
There are a lot of seals here. The child will be very interested. But it stinks so that after 15 minutes of arrival, my head starts to spin. The ticket costs 10 rubles for children, 12 rubles for adults. The duration of the visit is 1 hour. I couldn't last more than 30 minutes.
We were delighted! 17 seals of different breeds, 2 sisters are very tactile and like to sit on a person's lap, you can feed them with your hands. It's great that there are people who don't abandon destitute animals.
We stayed at the kotokaf in Minsk. The impression is more negative than positive. At the entrance to the museum (loudly said), an unpleasant smell is felt, the desire to go further is immediately discouraged. All the cats were hibernating. The cafe is also uncomfortable. The only plus is the friendly staff.
I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews here, because the mere existence of this museum does a huge good deed, gives a roof over the head to not a small number of kitties. Moreover, it gives them a chance to find a home.
The kitties here are very contact, they climb on their knees with pleasure and settle down to sleep. There were as many as three cats on my husband, but only one fit on me.The
place is cool, you can drink tea, relax in the company of kitties, draw, admire paintings and figurines.
Everything is fine and interesting, but, apparently, the room with a wooden floor is absolutely not designed for the life of seals. there is a rather pungent smell
A very nice and "cat-like" place. Friendly and helpful staff, well-groomed and well-fed cats. Tea, coffee, sweets for all visitors. Be prepared for the smell, these are still cats that mark the territory, employees ventilate and remove the smell as best they can, but it is very difficult to get rid of it.
It's not a bad place, but it's not well understood. The flavors leave much to be desired, the cats' accommodation is not thought out somehow, the name "cafe" is very far-fetched. The idea is magical, the implementation is not
It is necessary to clean up better, and not to lull the smell with incense. If I knew, it doesn't cost more than 2 rubles. One thing pleases that a dozen cats were saved, but deprived of the joys of life.
Firstly, the sharp, persistent smell of cat waste. Secondly, it is impossible to eat and sit properly, it is dirty, broken electricity is hanging over your head... What is said about the cafe, disposable cups, bags with two types of tea (The cheapest and most disgusting) and that's it, no sweets, cookies, etc. The staff insisted that it was a quiet hour for all cats to sleep, but I read a lot of reviews and many also wrote it, the price is very high for entrance from an adult is 12 seats. from the children's -10Bun., very expensive. And there's nothing to see there, except for the eternally sleeping cats. The food for cats there is unsanitary, as if it has been standing for the tenth year...
If these problems do not resolve, I have every right to sue you for bullying cats and they will come to check on you. There are no problems.
