A well-designed museum of military glory, with many interesting exhibits. Lots of weapons, medals, letters. Pleasant staff complement the positive impression of the visit, despite the heavy subject matter.
Good exposure. Several halls. Right at the entrance, military-themed paintings painted on all the walls, in black and red tones - fear, blood, grief - you immediately get into the spirit of the times and events. There are many original documents in the halls: orders and medals, characteristics of fighters, partisans. On the walls there are newspapers Pravda, June 22, 1941, May 9, 1945... You see and read what the Soviet people read. Among the exhibits are household items of soldiers, weapons, clothes, a machine gun... The atmosphere is appropriate: dim lights, backlights, silence. I definitely recommend a visit. Together with the famous ushachsky complex Breakthrough. Especially with children, so that they learn and remember.
The museum staff is friendly, it turned out to pay for the ticket with a card. It costs 4p in total. We were without an excursion, on our own, but the employee willingly answered questions.
There is a hall with paintings by local artists: military themes, caricatures of fascists, and the nature of the native land - very beautiful. I want to linger near each painting. Thanks to the employees, the management, that there is such a place.
One of the best museums I've ever visited!! Wonderful guide, wonderful decoration. I was particularly impressed by the art gallery!! 5 stars without doubts and confusion!
