A very interesting exposition about Nikolai Mikhailovich. One monument is a separate story. Researcher of Central Asia, organizer and leader of expeditions. Moreover, in those days everything was much more complicated than in modern conditions. One of these factors caused the premature death of the great traveler.

It's a beautiful place. Different types of spruce are collected on the territory of the park. The park is clean. The museum itself is not big. The exhibits are interesting, but some of the scarecrows are already in a deplorable state. Interesting paintings. The guides tell you everything in great detail. The monument itself is beautiful. Each element of it means something from the life and expedition of Przewalski. There is a grave nearby.

A good, previously well-endowed museum of the great traveler. It smells like a scoop, of course, but that's okay.
The key is the incompetence of the guide Zinaida, to whom she was "lucky" to get. The man seems to work there only because of a shortage of staff and has absolutely nothing to do with a museum worker who is at least somewhat immersed in research work. The whole tour is a reproduction of jagged text. The employee is not ready to answer clarifying questions, has little knowledge of geography (this is in such a museum!), composes on the go, gets annoyed and rude. It's a disgrace. I am sure that without the "contribution" of this lady, the memories of the museum would have remained much more pleasant.

Be sure to take a guide! Get more information. The territory of the museum is also interesting - behind the monument to Przewalski there is a beautiful view of the lake. Issyk-Kul. You can take a minibus from the center of Karakol in 15 minutes, the stop is called the museum. A very interesting museum, I recommend you to visit!

It was May 25, 2023. There are few tourists, as it is not the season. Why did I put 3, because I did not get into one room of the museum, since there was an excursion group with a guide. And I from Cholpon Ata specially went to Karakol to this museum. And no matter what people who were not part of the tour group listened to, they closed the doors in my face. But in general, it's not bad.
