I've never written reviews, but I can't help but write here, because before choosing this hotel, I relied on them. Now I'm telling you how it is. In fact, there were 2 of these hotels: one by the sea, the other across the street. By the sea it was more expensive by 20tr. We lived across the street. We had a rest from March 8 to March 13. A 3* hotel doesn't even pull. The rooms are old, all shabby, the toilet does not drain, the shower is a separate story - a watering can sticks out of the wall to wash, you need to adjust like a sniper. The only plus is good full-fledged beds of 1.5. My girlfriend and I were there. The room hasn't been cleaned once in a week. The towel was changed 3 times and then we caught the hotel staff in the hallway. The food is monotonous and not tasty: plain rice, curry rice, half-baked potatoes, undercooked pasta, beef like rubber, boiled vegetables, fruits: apples, tangerines, oak pears and a couple of melons. We ate at our hotel and at the one by the sea, no one controlled. The territory is muddled- there is nothing and small. It seems to me that it is only suitable for playing golf))) I can't say anything about the pool, we were on the beach all the time. Sun beds on the beach are like bunks, I've never seen them anywhere, it's unrealistically heavy. Yes, there was wind on the beach. The sea was very cold at first, then it warmed up a bit, and we started swimming. There are few fish. Those who go for the beauty of the sea need to go to the neighboring beach, there are more corals there, and divers take people with masks there. The sea itself is transparent, the purest. We were lucky with the weather. If we discard all the disadvantages with the hotel and the food, then the rest in Egypt was normal. But I don't want to go there anymore. It was the first time. There is a separate song about Egyptian airlines, it blows hard on the plane and it is very cold. Bottom line: we flew to relax and boost our immune system, but we flew home and went to bed with acute bronchitis and otitis media.

1. Check your reservation carefully when making a purchase. This 1 line hotel is a solid three. Although it is stated as 5. The rooms are not all renovated, there are dead ones. The pool has been renovated, everything is new and the sun beds too. The room stock is partially being renovated, and you can hear it during the day.
The beach is not bad, there are fish, there is no reef. The sun beds on the beach are old and worn out, towels too. The smart ones take their place under the umbrella with towels at 5 a.m. It's already about 8 o'clock with difficulty, but you can find a free one. The food is good, there is a choice. Fruits and sweets are available.
2. They often settle on the 2nd line (which is also declared as 5 stars) there is a clean boarding house for 1*. The rooms are terrible, a bunch of crows, a basik and sun beds are terrible. People are shocked. There are a lot of scandals, because they don't pay attention to the line when booking. It is possible to make an additional payment and you will be transferred to the 1st line.
There is a place to walk outside the hotel, the airport is nearby. You can safely cancel the return transfer and take a taxi for 15 minutes for 5 dollars. But you don't go to all the hotels and you can spend more time at sea.

Hello! On April 14, we arrived at the Naama Bay Promenade Mountain Side 5* Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh Hotel.
What did we get for the little money we paid for this vacation? Let's see:
-When transferring from the airport, they FORGOT to drop us off at our hotel!!!
As a result, instead of a 15-minute drive from the airport to the hotel, we had to drive 1 hour and 40 minutes, transporting everyone who arrived to the hotels. And only then, we were taken to our "5"-star hotel, stating, among other things, that we ourselves did not get out on time (although, when stopping near our hotel, I asked the guide "do we need to get out now," to which we were told that our hotel was next. And only after 2-3 minutes, after leaving the hotel, the guide came to his senses and began to say that it was we who did not inform him that we needed to leave. In fact, instead of controlling the arrival of tourists at the hotel they needed, the bus guide sold SIM cards to those traveling on the bus at a scrap cost (about 2 times more expensive than at the airport.

Well, in general, as you can see from the attached photos, this number probably draws 2 * stars, maybe if you drink too much vodka, then maybe 3*. But I warn you, you need to drink a LOT of VODKA to make this THREE-STAR design. Personally, I couldn't drink that much.
- Also, when checking into the room, the air conditioner was not working, and water was flowing from the toilet line (you can see it in one of the photos).
- There is a fungus growing in the bathtub all over the room and the perimeter of the bathtub itself!- The paint is peeling off the walls!
- The mirror is peeling off!!!!
-Umbrellas are not allowed on site.
For the reason "they may break due to the wind."..
- The faucet in the bathtub can only direct water into the upper shower head. Down, no way.
- It is better not to open the door to the balcony, especially at night, even if it is cool outside - mosquitoes fly in flocks. A fun night will be provided.
- You need to take a place on the beach, under an umbrella, in the morning, preferably at HALF past FIVE. If you come later, you probably won't find the place.
- The food is of high quality, but the choice is poor. It's worth 3 stars. No more. It is better to come to the restaurant at the beginning of the meal. Many dishes are not replenished after they are finished.
- WI-FI is not bad. The coverage is normal. The speed is average, sometimes it drops. Probably depends on the number of people connected to the point. The beach is frail, but there is enough for mail and social networks...
- The beach is a swimming area, fenced with buoys, reaching from a depth of 1 meter 20 centimeters, up to 1 meter, 80 centimeters, depending on the tide. So you won't be able to swim properly in any way - rescuers from the boat are chasing those who swim behind the buoys. To swim beyond the buoys, you need to drown a lifeguard...
- After 22 hours, all bars suddenly close. That is, not really, but they start pouring ALL the drinks just for the money. Except bottled drinking water. Keep this in mind!

We are currently in it. The hotel is cool, consists of 2. We rest on 2 lines, it's quieter here. There is a road between them, but this is not Dubai, it is not critical. There is everything from food. There are no queues anywhere. You can have lunch 2-3 times, and have breakfast /dinner as well. No one checks the room number or keeps a record. Wherever you go, the road is through the restaurant. Gorgeous coffee from the coffee machine, milk, hot chocolate. It never ends, we are already used to it. Meat of different types is usually 2, chicken, fish of 2 or 3 types. Omelet is cooked in the morning in front of you, pancakes, 2 types of porridge, soups. There are a lot of vegetables, greens in different forms, and delicious dishes with melon, watermelon, etc. The sea is super! Masks are better to take here, they are all over the face with a flap. We bought expensive houses, and in vain! A trip to Soho Boulevard is 3-5 dollars, it's beautiful there in the evening. As it is, there is nowhere else to go. The excursions took a free sightseeing tour, because it was the first time in Egypt. We read what to take from mosquitoes-they are simply not here in August! Maybe in winter, who goes. A diving tour for my husband for $ 45, I swim from a yacht for $ 40. The guide has it. It's cheaper on the beach, but for $5, there's no point. By swimming pools-2 pcs on our territory and in front of the beach, across the street. We have free pools, there are more people on that one. The hotel is located just on a walking street, along the sea. According to the room, there is a large room for two of us with 2 large beds, 2 pillows each, just a bar. The balcony/terrace is large, we always take a clothesline and clothespins. On each terrace there is a table and 2 plastic chairs. The TV is not new, but plasma. There is a small refrigerator, a large safe. There is a kettle, sugar and tea bags are replenished every day. The bathroom is comfortable, with a full-length mirror. Shampoo and shower gel are given every day. There is an ironing board in each room, but there is no iron.

We had a rest in April 2024. The second time in this hotel. The first time was back in 2006, when it was called Marriott. I was afraid that he would get worse. Nothing like that. He's even better now.
Positive.
Location. A windless bay. Close to the city center with shops. There is a promenade along the sea. The hotel consists of 2 parts, on lines 1 and 2. We rested on the second line and it's not too stressful.
Beach. Wide, gently sloping, sandy. There are few corals, it is safe. There is a large coral nearby. There are a lot of fish and corals there. The sea is 150-200 meters from the road.
Territory. Beautiful, cozy, green, interesting, well-planned territory. The buildings were designed by a competent architect. Marriott's handwriting is felt.
Food. Excellent. If you are not spoiled by Turkey, you are more than enough. Alcohol does not flow like a river, there is enough to drink moderately.
Staff. Attentive. He became even better after covid and the change of ownership.
Minuses.
The rooms. They require repairs. From talking to other guests, I learned that some of the rooms have been renovated in the far area of the hotel (in the garden).
We lived in a room above the pool. It is large, with a beautiful view, but needs to be renovated. If you're not demanding, that's fine.
Bottom line: the hotel is great for relaxing, romantic vacations and lovers of swimming (with and without a mask)

The former Marriott Hotel. The hotel is for mothers with young children. The beach is a shallow sand with a smooth depression. The bay is windless. The rooms are large. The food is normal, very good for Egypt. The lack of fruit was compensated by buying on the street. Everything costs a penny, with our money. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to old Nyama Bay, where there are many shops, restaurants, alcohol markets and a Fixed Price. The animation is weak. There is little entertainment in the hotel. The annoying photographer never sent the photos, although he took the money. A petty crook, which is not typical for Egypt. I recommend the hotel for a low price, a good beach, a large restaurant. It is convenient to get to the Old Town, Soho, and the airport. Across the street is the second part of this hotel. Greener and quieter. It's good to come here in a big company to celebrate and have fun.

Situation: I brought a hookah from Russia to meet with friends from a nearby hotel (they keep their own establishment) and wanted to use it OUTSIDE the hotel.
Bottom line: the hookah was taken away before we had time to check in, they demanded to open the luggage immediately. What we ignored)
We check into the room, there are no questions. It's been 5 minutes, they're already knocking on the door and demanding to give it back, without any explanation, etc. We arrived at 5:30 for a minute, we hardly slept.
We said we didn't understand and wouldn't give it back. After 10 minutes, another person arrives, the situation repeats, and then again. Oil painting: I'm standing in a towel after a shower, and they make me take my suitcase apart and give it to an employee. Is this normal at all? What a way to treat women.
As a result, the receptionist explains that they have such rules. I said I didn't have any coals, they weren't going to smoke in the room. They don't care, at first they said they could give it to me for smoking in their hookah area, the next day they couldn't give it back, only on the day of departure. That is, I need to pack my suitcase in front of them at the reception area. No guarantees, no paper, nothing) I asked to show the rules of the hotel, where it is written, nothing either
Question: why don't you take away cigarettes with lighters from men? Is this normal?
There was also a hookah bar in my suitcase, it costs $ 1.5, it wasn't taken away, really, which is dangerous) but the hookah is disassembled for $ 150 for joy.

We were at the hotel from May 9 to May 19, 2024. We are sooo happy with the hotel! One of the few that you definitely want to return to! Starting with check-in, dinner first, because the flight was in the evening, then very successful rooms, without any additional payment. Special thanks to the Saber reception employee!!He also helped with all the issues throughout the rest. The location of the hotel is great! The way to the sea was not annoying at all, although we lived on the second line / Mountain / Shopping streets of Naama Bay very close. It's nice to take a walk in the evening. We visited Mahoney's restaurant. We recommend it!! We will definitely return to the hotel again!!🤩

Everything is old!!! There is a constant shortage of appliances and dishes in the dining room. Tables on the street have been shat by jackdaws that graze near tables that are rarely cleaned. We changed three rooms for various reasons: the air conditioner is not working, the noise of the diesel station outside the window, and the poor view from the window. Go to the beach far away and across the street and another hotel. The diet is varied, but the rednecks quickly sort everything out, piling on plates that they don't half eat. Beautiful manicured lawn throughout the hotel. The pool is incredibly cold, colder than the sea in December.

We had a vacation in March 2025. The hotel is absolutely ruined. The rooms are very old. The buffet is very meager and monotonous. If you arrive at rush hour for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you may not have enough seats at the tables. Choose an alternative time. Sun beds on the beach should be occupied at 8.00. Later, there will be places only in the sun. All seats will be occupied by the pool by 9:00.
At the same time, one of the best beaches on Naama and the entire infrastructure is very close.

My parents and relatives are currently vacationing there. Everyone is very unhappy with the hotel and the staff! Everything is old, the food is mediocre, the pool doesn't work, and most importantly, the staff is rude and generally behaves as if someone owes them! It's a terrible place, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Don't ruin your vacation!
And the reviews must have been paid for. I can't find any other explanation for why there are so many positive reviews!

It's not a hotel, it's a walking horror. It may be in a state of constant alcoholic intoxication and it is possible to stay there, in other cases it is not. And don't you dare take the kids there. There is complete unsanitary conditions, they feed you like pigs, you will be given one towel per day, without the possibility of changing. The shower room is falling apart. I do not know who writes rave reviews there, it is necessary to judge not the Charm and surroundings, but the hotel itself. It is good that the tour operator promptly changed the hotel for us immediately without any questions to another one, for which I thank him very much. And don't even come here, your vacation will be ruined from the very first minutes of your stay here.

If you've been to a one-star hotel, then it's here. They'll throw cheap wine at you in a paper cup, if not in your face. They won't pour anything except on the beach, and if they do, it's cheap moonshine again. The staff is disgusting, the rooms are not cleaned, the towels are folded dirty and put as clean. We've been here for five days and we haven't changed our underwear once. The floors have not been washed, only the trash is being removed from the baskets.
