It's a great place! Full boarding on a weekday, barely found a place. Fast delivery, delicious food, reasonable prices! The furniture is comfortable, the territory is large, there are many enclosed booths. The food is divine and must be tasted. I recommend that all guests of the city come here. It was the first time on the recommendation of my mother-in-law, delicious cuisine, good portions, be sure to try the boats, I took a small one and ate too much of it, but it was super tasty and creamy. The restaurant is located on the central embankment of Sukhum. Beautiful territory, various areas for visitors, both open and closed. Nice furniture.. but for me, this is not a restaurant, but a cafe. First you need to complete the quest to find a free table, by yourself, no one will help. Then you need to find out who is serving this table and wait for the waitress. We waited, hooray, the order is made, we are waiting ... there is no special serving of dishes, just food. During the meal, empty plates are not cleaned, napkins had to be asked to be on the table. And in the end, you need to catch the waitress again to pay... have you paid?! The quest is completed))). And it's not just us, it was the same at the neighboring tables, the waitresses are tired and not friendly (there are really a lot of visitors, but this is a restaurant). There are no questions about the kitchen, everything is really delicious! Thanks to the chefs!

Many thanks to the staff! The restaurant is large-scale, 2 two-storey covered rooms and many gazebos on the territory. There is no interior, it's just beautiful and that's it!, wooden tables, benches, everything is massive, I liked it, i.e. simple and tasteful, there is an installation for photos at the entrance, a cart with vegetables. The food is delicious, the price tag is average, for a family of 4 people 4tr without alcohol, but we ate too much and took it with us, we did not think that such large portions, the second time we were, 4300 came out with a bottle of wine. The service is fast, high-quality, the waiters are in uniform, such a rarity in Abkhazia. We definitely recommend you to visit.

A favorite place in Sukhumi and apparently not only here, it is difficult to find a free table in summer, although the territory is large, there are many houses on the street, open tables, a common room, warm halls with sea views, plus tables are additionally set up. The food is delicious, the menu is quite varied, and the prices are quite affordable. Payment in cash. It's a very beautiful courtyard, and it's glowing in the evening. Clean, comfortable toilets in a secluded location. It's best here out of season, they'll take care of you like family, there's more fuss in the summer, and the staff runs around like bees.

We stopped by with the guys when we were driving around Sukhumi. A very pleasant atmosphere with a cool view of the greenery and the embankment. I really liked the zoning of the territory. The food is amazing, and the price list is very cool: I didn't see anything above 500 rubles from the food. The second visit to Abkhazia is not complete without a visit to this iconic place. The guide told me that this is a favorite place of many locals and has been tested on her own experience - here are the best egg boats of all that I have tried.
BUT this is the second time I have come across the boorish behavior of waitresses. They always talk rudely, sharply, showing with all their appearance that you are an unwanted guest here. At the same time, she talked sweetly with a group of men at the next table, laughed and flirted.
The first time I was just very surprised, without doing anything, the second time I used the strategy of extreme politeness, I think only an unhappy person will want to make others feel bad. I smiled at her, was polite and sweet, I'll say right away - the strategy failed.
We sat down at a table, there were 2 napkins in the napkin holder and the waiter apparently pushed it to the middle to report. Running past, another yelled at us to put the napkin holder back in place. The thought arose that we would now be called to clean the fish that we ordered 😄
While waiting for the order, someone's child of about 6 years old was walking around the hall. Another waitress started shouting, "Whose child, take the child away! We have a broken floor here - it will fail- it will kill. "...... What the hell!?!??
You always have a full landing and you can't repair the floor, endangering visitors?!?!?
In addition to the staff, I would also like new modern dishes. Glasses are the cheapest with a small bowl, and so you want to enjoy the unfolding smell of fine Abkhazian wine.

Very good location, we have been visiting for Caucasian hospitality and delicious food for several years, the boat is above all praise, soups, snacks from the category were served similarly, but kebabs and salad ... no comments, we took lamb, beef and lula, the kebab could be delicious, the meat is good for the first taste, but after the taste the receptors are covered with a vigorous wave of salt, which is already impossible to eat, the waiter did not react to our remark in any way, they paid the full amount of 2,000 rubles for 600g, the verdict: on the release, we did not want to argue, the people are hot, we just made our conclusions.. the cradle is similarly over-salted, but at least you can eat it, but it is very over-dried, it does not look attractive when served, "as if on a skewer." The year of gazad was definitely better. The salad was not one of the most delicious tomatoes with some scraps of seafood, it looked ridiculous. I hope the guys will improve, my words above are not offensive to the owners, just adequate criticism from a person who is close to the restaurant industry. Assessment for food and service. It's worth working with repetitions. The staff of the hall just seems to be in constant steam, but the service can be adjusted, the right management can be set up.

We were 10 years ago and earlier and this year, the difference is big for us, it was not tasty, there was the best cafe in Sukhum, now it is usual, shish kebab is dry, seafood salad did not even begin to eat, at the next table young people left almost without eating anything,I put four points only for nostalgia, the hand does not rise even less to put, I wanted to visit here, since we were still with young children, the interior remained the same, there had been no repairs over the years, but it was clean, the staff was friendly.

Every summer we definitely come to this restaurant from anywhere in Abkhazia. We have always been delighted with the choice and taste of dishes. This year, our expectations have not been fulfilled a little bit. The pizza was too full of butter, the oil flowed directly from it, khachapur was over-dried, there was nowhere to dip the dough, cheese and egg took a crust, there were only two types of compotes to choose from and then in liters, eggplant rolls were overcooked, only chicken soup and meat in Abkhazian was delicious.

Good quality food!We took a barbecue, boats and a couple of soups.
The kebab didn't come to me here, it was too salty and dry, there are places in Sukhum where you can eat kebabs, but this cafe is not one of them.The soup is great, and so are the boats.
Of the cons, I had to wait for a table, it was very noisy and a lot of people.
If you came here to eat and you are more lucky with a barbecue than me, then without a miss, if for the entourage and interior, then definitely not here - it's more like a canteen -cafe, not a restaurant.

The prices are not expensive by Moscow standards, everything is delicious and the portions are good. But in September there were and I didn't like that there was no mutton. I ordered a shish kebab, I wanted a named lamb, they said OK, after a couple of minutes the waitress said that: "no, that's just the last one ordered in front of you!" Although it's still evening, around 20.00, and there's no lamb anymore. Hinkal is not there either. We ordered a boat the size of "poltorashka". It was delicious, but it burned badly from the bottom too, because of this it tasted bitter and there was little cheese, and there was no cheese in the sides at all. And the size looks small. In the past times and years, they took it and everything was different. Apparently, it depends on the cook, as there are a lot of them there. So it's like everywhere else, if you're lucky. Because of this, I only put a minus sign.

Of the pros: excellent location of the cafe, in the heart of the embankment. The sea view is beautiful at any time of the year. It is very atmospheric, you can sit both in the common room and separately. There are many locations for photos. The food is delicious and fresh, while the prices are low. The famous boats and khachapuri are among the best in Abkhazia. They cook fast enough.
Of the minuses: huge queues! Although there are a lot of seats, there are clearly not enough for everyone, especially during the season. You have to wait from 30 minutes or more. My personal best is 50 min. There is no cashless payment, even transfer is not always possible, there is no WiFi. Not everything is available from the bar menu, especially Sukhumi beer. What was unpleasantly surprised this summer was that homemade compotes began to be served in a sealed container. It's very noisy, it won't work to sit in a "warm" atmosphere, the guests will try to pick up a chair, since there are not enough bags and backpacks for all of them, they kept on their knees, what a comfort here. The staff is tortured, which means that the number of guests has increased significantly, but the number of staff has increased slightly. The personal hygiene room is dirty, there is no hot water.
And I want to end with this: I have been traveling to Abkhazia since 2018, I see how Narthaa is changing every year, unfortunately not for the better. If you've never been there, be sure to go! But don't just stop there. There are many cafes with national cuisine in Sukhum that are not inferior to Nartaa.

And here's the food... either we had high expectations, or the cafe's attendance is based on its former glory... in general, khachapur boat is incomparable, tkemali sauce is very tasty. And everything. Beef lula (2 large portions) are very, very over-dried, if it were not for the sauce it would not be possible at all, I was hungry, but I ate less than 1 pc. Lamb shish kebab is marinated delicious, but a lot of veins and fat is not pleasant to eat. Fries without salt at all - salt yourself. Eggplant rolls were not at all impressed, they ate much tastier, compote is not self-made, but factory bottled, very sweet, it is necessary to dilute 1 to 1 with water. In general: whether we will come here a second time is unlikely, if only for a boat.

I'll say one thing- you won't regret it! Everything is at the highest level. And the food, and the service, and the time of serving.
Waiters constantly remove dirty dishes and used items from the table.
The meat is gorgeous, but be sure to take the sauce with the lula- 😋
The portions are good. Giblet dishes - do not smell like giblets, take hominy with them.
For three people, the amount of the check is 3590, and this is with drinks/alcohol. They were rolling out of the restaurant)))

I was here in the old days, and I liked the atmosphere and the cuisine. But what I saw today is just tin. 1. All visitors smoke on the territory. That's literally EVERYTHING - there is not a single table where you can hide from cigarette smoke, it's just a nightmare. Instead of dividing the smoking and non-smoking areas, the owners of the establishment stupidly turned everything into one smoking room! If you do not smoke, then you will be extremely uncomfortable being there.
2. The waiters don't care about you as much as possible - they will approach you about 30 minutes after arrival. And you'll be lucky if the food arrives faster, along with the necessary appliances. After that, you will wait another half hour for you to be counted out. I had to find a waitress on my own after a long wait. Payment is only in cash or by transfer.
3. One of the dishes I ordered was a boat - it was burnt and oak. So much so that I couldn't break the bottom, and I had to chew on what was on top. The egg was not raw, but overexposed. To my remark that the boat was burnt and tasteless, the waitress said in a condescending tone: "not burnt, but toasted!" Seriously??? It is impossible to eat it! This is some kind of horror, there are no words. No apologies and taking responsibility for the joint, no attempts to replace the dish (although, of course, I had already gnawed it) - still nothing was done at all. Except for the sneers in my direction.
I will never come here again and I will not advise anyone I know. This place is not worth the nerves, money, or time spent. Everything has gone downhill after 2020.

I was in this restaurant 13 years ago. I fell in love with him and went every day. Unfortunately, it has deteriorated very much. The only thing that has remained unchanged is the Boat, it is still as gorgeous. The shish kebab is dry . We didn't take the loin on purpose, but the meat turned out to be tough and very salty. We took 4 servings and all of them were completely tasteless. They couldn't drink compote from feijoa, the sweetness was such that it made their teeth ache, they had to dilute it with water. But the dogwood compote is delicious. It was important to us that there was no coriander in the sauce (allergy), the waitress convinced us that there was parsley, we asked 3 times, but they brought tomato sauce with coriander. The soup is not rich, the meat is coarse, it looks like pork. Very charmed

We visited on vacation. It's always packed. I travel a lot and have something to share.
Of the advantages:
Delicious cuisine. We ordered a barbecue, boats (I recommend it!).
Of the cons:
There is smoking on the territory, it is not pleasant :(
Not comfortable tables and benches.
The staff is peculiar, all adults, there is no feeling that you are a guest in the institution, but there is a feeling that you are out of place here... there is no service :(
Drinks themselves do not prepare everything from the store and compote from the store and lemonade.
Total: I recommend it only because of the cuisine, thanks a lot to the chefs!
