The best cafe in several villages
Hostess Leila and her husband Danuka are amazing people, they will cook anything for you.
We ate okroshka, mashed potatoes with chicken of various kinds, the most delicious shrimp from the experience of poking into different cafes, in general, anything is real.
We ate lunch and dinner here every day, the prices are very pleasant in relation to other local cafes that do not understand Russian tastes and wishes.
We insanely recommend it from the purest of hearts, all days we sat here drinking in the evenings, a lot of Russians, sang karaoke songs, listened to their music through huge speakers. Everyone came running to the "glass of vodka" Leps.
Shrimp/crab/seafood soup is very tasty, creamy taste with coconut milk

The cafe was bribed by the fact that the hostess from Kazakhstan speaks Russian well herself. It is located right next to the hotel where we lived.
The food is not particularly tasty, although it is beautiful.
I do not recommend wasting time and money.

A terrible tour organized by the owners of this place!
We went with Nathaliya Tours on a two-day excursion deep into Sri Lanka.
1) The program included a night in one of two hotels - Thuruliya Lodge or Ramboda Falls, with panoramic views of the waterfall. When we arrived there, it turned out that the tour operator had not booked a hotel for us and there were no more places. We need to go for an additional 2 hours to another ordinary hotel in Kandy, where we should not have gone at all according to the plan.
2) We also had a planned visit to the Pinnawela Shelter with elephant feeding. Instead, we were dropped off near the road next to the shelter and shown how the elephants were walking past towards the river!
We had numerous phone calls with the owner of this tour agency, Leila, to find out why our tour did not meet the plan. In response, we received inappropriate behavior on her part. It turned out that another couple of guys refused the tour, and she allegedly did us a favor by not canceling it! Because of this, she wanted to save money on the tour program to compensate for the absence of two people!! According to her, the hotels in the Ramboda area and the elephant shelter have become too expensive for this tour!! Also, according to her, it's our own fault that we ruined our first day when we began to resent that instead of a beautiful hotel with panoramic views, she wanted to take us to some unknown hotel in another city!! All this was expressed to us in a raised tone with shouts and the person clearly did not care about the quality of our rest and mood!! To the question why we were not warned in advance about the changes in the plan, no adequate answer was received, obviously she just wanted to make at least some money for us no matter what!! Next, we demanded a discount for our inconveniences and nerves, in response, they threw a tantrum and threatened to drop us out of the car and forced us to send her the full cost of the tour!! When paying, it became clear that she also wants to receive payment at the rate of 1 dollar - 97 rubles, despite the fact that the official exchange rate was 91 rubles!! At the end of the trip, they did not want to take us to the hotel, we were 80 km away from it!! It turned out that Nathaliya Tours decided to compensate for their losses also by paying the guide and the driver, just not to pay them, which is why the driver did not want to lead us further and went to the nearest police station!! Here we already had a scandal with this tour operator, because at first she asked us to get out of the car and change into another one, which we were allegedly called, then she began to tell us lies about the problems of organizing the tour, the driver and the guide would have to be responsible for, although we did not say a bad word to her about They were not told. These guys worked really well, unlike her!! Obviously, she just wanted to drop us off, leave us on the road at night and also throw the driver and guide to pay for their work, blaming their own problems on them!! In the end, we still managed to get taken home after some time, but our vacation was ruined!!
I strongly recommend avoiding the Nathaliya Tours agency, its leaders Leila and Danuka, as well as a man named Rufat Fuatovich (they transferred money to him for the tour). These people don't care at all about the quality of your vacation, in case of any problem, they will spoil your vacation with their disgusting behavior!!
At the same time, our guide turned out to be a very good person, spoke excellent Russian, told and showed us everything we needed, the driver was also very professional, which is very important in conditions of heavy mountain roads. Hopefully, after Nathaliya Tours tried to refuse to pay them the money they earned, they will stop working with this agency!
