The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus is a real treasure trove of art. A magnificent collection is presented here, covering both Belarusian art and works by world masters. The halls of the museum are spacious and well-organized, which allows you to quietly enjoy the exhibitions and immerse yourself in art.
The halls with works by Belarusian artists are especially impressive, where you can learn a lot about the culture and history of the country through painting and sculpture. The museum also features works by Western European, Russian and Oriental masters, which makes its collection really diverse.
The museum staff is always ready to help and tell you more about each work. For those who are interested in art and history, a visit to the National Art Museum will be unforgettable.
A wonderful museum, excellent modern architectural solutions for the new interior space. The museum was founded in 1939, when the annexation of the Western Belarusian lands took place. Therefore, the museum's exposition is very interesting. There are paintings by Serov, Vrubel, Korovin, Bryullov, Vasnetsov and original portraits of Polish magnates Radziwills. There are a lot of unusual things. You can wander here for hours. There is a nice cafe on the ground floor where you can pause and then continue the tour.
Exceeded expectations! I thought it would be smaller. But the collection is impressive, there are many modern works, as well as many famous artists (Vereshchagin, Kuindzhi, Shishkin, Makovsky, Vrubel, Vasnetsov, Aivazovsky, etc.). The interior is very very beautiful in archetectural terms! Transparent ceilings, stairs, passages... I really liked the museum, I recommend it to all guests of Minsk!
