I'll say for the observation deck on the 23rd floor and the cafe on the 22nd floor: GREAT! The view from the site is magnificent. The cafe is excellent: delicious, the range and prices are loyal
An interesting architectural object. The National Library has become one of the business cards of Belarus. Modern design, well-groomed territory, a huge amount of literature.
I go here to study and prepare for exams, I really like this place, it's quiet, calm, there are several comfortable halls. One of my favorite opportunities is to order a coworking, there are several equipped coworking rooms where you can spend up to 4 hours. The staff is always friendly and calm. I recommend the library as a place to study and relax!
The building itself is incredibly beautiful, the library area is very gentrified, cleanliness is monitored.
The view from the observation deck is stunning, at a cost of 10 Belarusian rubles.
The approach to the edge is limited by a grate and glass, but this does not prevent you from enjoying the view at all. Everything is safe.
It was very interesting to walk through the floors, look into some rooms (museums)! The gift hall, the music hall (you can even listen to music on records and play the piano there)!
Recommend
There is a large shopping center nearby, you can go for lunch)
A huge building in the shape of a rhombocuboctahedron. In front of the building there is a monument to the first printer of Belarus. With spacious halls and a large collection of books. At the top there is an observation deck with a gallery of paintings by local artists. We wanted to see the building illuminated at night, but unfortunately, only advertising was broadcast on the building in the evening
The architecture is amazing, it looks very impressive. There is a cafe and an observation deck upstairs, and a panoramic elevator rises very quickly. You can enjoy the view of Minsk from above, look through binoculars and learn some historical details.
There is a cool observation deck in the library, I really like to go to it in a transparent elevator, the playground is equipped with binoculars, I visit 2-3 times a year, I come at such a time to watch the sunset. 4 stars, because the windows are dirty, and you have to hold your phone dangerously to take beautiful sunset pictures
There is always an exhibition, I definitely visit and there is also a cafe, but I don't go there, very close to DanaMall with a footcourt and P. Mstislavets Street, where you can eat well!
It's a very beautiful building. Interesting appearance.
But there is, but. The cost of entrance tickets to the observation deck is overstated. There are no discounts for preschool children and students from the Russian Federation. There are also no discounts for disabled people of the 3rd group. This turned out to be the only completion in the Republic of Belarus, where there are no benefits for citizens of the Union state.
I hope the administration will take this fact into account and correct itself.
You can argue for a long time about the architecture of the library, to some it seems like a scar on the face of the city, to others a work of art, but I was most impressed by what the library has inside. That's how every library should be! You just want to come here and look through a book, it's so cozy, comfortable and every detail adjusts to the right mood. I recommend all book lovers to take a ticket for at least one visit to the reading room, you will definitely not regret it!
It is a must for everyone who came to Minsk for the first time! The view of the city is simply amazing 😍 The cost is 10 rubles, the queues are small (if you do not run into tourist groups). The entrance is not from the front side, it should be noted. The library is located in a beautiful park area.
The view from the observation deck is beautiful, it's worth visiting once.
But, I think that the price for such an "attraction" is greatly overestimated, 10 rubles per person and 5 per child, that is, for a 10-15 minute stay on the observation deck (there is nothing to do there longer), you will pay 25-30 rubles per family, Belarusian rubles. It is expensive. But in general, if you have the opportunity, then you can go.
Delight and pride! A very beautiful view of the night capital, a little dizzy from the height, but this only adds to the thrill. We got an unforgettable experience! Thanks!!!
The National Library of Belarus is a truly majestic building that leaves an incredible impression with its unusual appearance. Visiting her observation deck, which offers a stunning view of the whole of Minsk, was unforgettable. The library is not only a beautiful architectural symbol of the republic, but also an important cultural, scientific and educational center that maintains ties with many countries.
It hosts world-class lectures, literary festivals and book fairs, which makes it a place where ideas and talents converge. The National Library of Belarus deserves to be a mandatory stop for everyone interested in culture and knowledge, and it gives Minsk a special character and significance.
A very original design of the library and the book transportation system. There is an excellent observation deck at the top of the library, which offers a wonderful view of the city.
The building itself is very interesting and grandiose, it is worth a visit. There is an opportunity to take a panoramic elevator to the roof of the building to admire the views of Minsk from a height of 23 floors. But the only thing that is a little upsetting is the glass screens that are installed there for safety. They're not completely transparent anymore. In general, it would be better if cables were stretched there instead, for example, as on the stairs on the way to the roof from the elevator, they give a more complete feeling of freedom and flight.
A huge building with an unusual shape. Multifunctional, not just a library. There is an observation deck on the 22nd floor, but the views are not very good, the outskirts of the city and a construction site. It's worth a visit.
The view from the observation deck was truly spectacular.
The height made me dizzy, but at the same time I was overwhelmed with a feeling of delight.
The city spread out in front of us as if in the palm of our hand, drowning in the evening lights.
It was one of those moments that you want to remember forever.
We definitely need to come back here again.
Our diamond. There is an observation deck, an entrance and a ticket office at the back of the building, the library is super, as a student it just saved me, I wrote a complicated diploma in Business law in the hall for undergraduates, super, lamps, tables, a lot of space, only I would like the light to be brighter, exhibitions are held periodically, and special thanks to the organizers for the Night of 2024, there were so many events. that it was unrealistic to visit everything, and quests, and dances, and lectures. concerts, games, a fashion show for babies, the sea, the view from the windows is beautiful, especially in the evening, when the lights are on, cool illuminated dancers were hired to close the Bible Night, an awesome number, and the charismatic guys closed -so smiling, very positive. I was amazed by the book museum, many unique copies and the clock of the epochs are cool and the bison on the 1st floor, the sculpture of Frantziska Skaryna is gorgeous. The library is beautiful, special thanks for the audience with the piano, where pianists gave concerts, so many people volunteered to play on the open piano, as many talents as we have, it takes pride. Thanks to the organizers. Our relatives liked dancing in several classrooms at once very much. Very sincere.
The building is worth a look. Like many iconic buildings in Minsk, it is very majestic and impressive. There is an extension behind the building, you can climb to the observation deck, on the 23rd floor. The cost is 8 rubles, you can also pay with a mir card. Of course, it's a little weak compared to Vysotsky in Yekaterinburg, but there is no other alternative. The views are beautiful.
I went up to the library roof. The pitchfork opens indescribably. The ticket up is not expensive. Clean, friendly staff, large Parking, metro, electric charging, bus stop nearby.
It's a cool place, you can climb up to the observation deck and admire the sunset. There is also a good cafe) my husband liked Absolut vodka 🙈 real! Drank like water ahahaha
A great place for both tourists and locals who have the opportunity to park their car in a huge parking lot without problems and for free. You can climb to the roof of the building and look at the views around this building
A great library both in terms of tourism and professionally. There are a lot of books on various topics, a unique service in the form of book delivery on special monorails, as well as a lot of other innovations, which is amazing, especially considering that the building was built in 2006. Well, the observation deck, of course, has a beautiful view. I definitely recommend you to visit if you have never been there.
I recommend all tourists to visit the observation deck of the library. An unforgettable experience. There is a panoramic elevator, a 360-degree view, a cafe and a small museum where exhibitions are held. But I recommend going at sunset - the photos will turn out cool. It is convenient to get there by metro. The area around is well maintained, ponds, benches, paths. You can walk around. In the evening, the building is illuminated (ads are being played).
A great place, a unique building, an excellent observation deck on the roof, which is lifted by a frame elevator, of course not the Ostankino Tower, but Minsk is not visible from this height either
A huge interesting building, I visited the observation deck, the view of Minsk at night is beautiful!
There are also magnifying binoculars on the observation deck, you can see the city in great detail!
The National Library of Belarus in Minsk. You can take the metro to Vostok station and walk to the library. Convenient location. A very interesting design of the library building, which is popularly called a diamond or peeled potato. An interesting feature of the building is that there is an observation deck on the roof of the building, from where you can see the city from above.
An interesting place to visit that leaves mixed feelings. The building itself is admirable, the views from the panoramic elevator and from the observation deck are breathtaking. However, the fence of the observation deck prevents ventilation, so in hot weather it is very stuffy there and there is a high risk of heat stroke, because there is not much Shade there. However, it is possible to go down to the floor below, where a small art gallery is arranged around the perimeter of the building, there are places where you can sit and the air conditioners do not work. Plus a small cafe. And all this without leaving the paid area, so you can return back to the observation deck at any time. I will also note a very large parking lot nearby, which is very convenient
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff of our library.
I come there almost every day to prepare for exams. The atmosphere is inviting.
Polite guards at the turnstiles, tactful librarians. Especially Kuznetsova Margarita is a charming girl who explained the scheme of getting books, suggested where to go and answered all the questions, in general, to the very heart.
Be sure to visit!! A large-scale, high-tech, cozy, most interesting building and place! It is located near the metro. It is better to arrive at the observation deck by the time of ticket sales. They are launched in batches. The elevator is panoramic. There is an opportunity to climb to the open roof.
The National Library is a whole city within a city! Here you can spend the whole day visiting many exhibitions and the book museum, there is a place to have a snack and buy souvenirs. The book museum is closed on Monday. And it is very inconvenient that the library with its exhibition halls and the observation deck do not form a single space. That is, after the library, you need to go out, walk around the building and buy a ticket to the observation deck.
From the outside it looks big and huge on a large scale. There is a large spacious area around it. There is a huge shopping center nearby. Beautiful apartment buildings. There are 3 floors inside the library. It took about 40 minutes . Nothing special. For those who want to read a book in peace, this is a great place. In order to see something interesting, you will not see anything except galleries, and even then they are not particularly interesting, it is better to go to the National Art Museum.
The design idea is gorgeous. It looks very cool. The view from the observation deck is gorgeous. Among the disadvantages, savings on glazing. Really, it was impossible to make a good mirrored facade...
A strange-looking building that becomes a huge advertising space at night. There is an observation deck and a small exhibition hall upstairs, but the historical center is not particularly visible. There is also a cafe with very tasty desserts upstairs
It's beautiful, you can see most of the city. There are large and powerful binoculars. After seeing the surroundings, you can go to a cafe and have a snack, and then go back up and continue to admire)
I won't say anything about the library. Well, there's nothing to see from the observation deck. It is located in a new area, so there are views of new buildings. Of course, you can go up for the panoramic elevator. 23rd floor, height 73 meters. On the 22nd floor there is a gallery (well, it's not worth it), a cafe and a toilet. The cost is 5 Belarusian rubles preferential and 10 for adults. You can buy in advance on the Internet and not waste time waiting in line.
It's more interesting to look at the library from the outside))
Beautiful viewing platform. There are free ones! Binoculars on each side. There is a cafe below, but the prices are expensive for students. However, it's delicious!
A very beautiful library! Big one! What a beauty inside! Be sure to visit there! The coolest thing is, there is an observation deck. You need to go around the building and there will be an entrance to the observation deck. The whole of Minsk opens! I really liked it! A gorgeous place!
There are good excursions where you can learn a lot about the library, but I haven't been to one for a long time, maybe everything has changed. I spilled a drink there once, the guards told me not to clean it up, which is quite strange. You can work out with lessons if you practice tutoring courses or just do self-study (since there is enough space to settle down). The pass is on the card and sometimes the security is quite unfriendly, which spoils the impression. It is better not to go up to the roof and it is strange that people are allowed there at all, because the fences are flimsy and it is scary to think what will happen if you cling to them.
One of the wonders of the city! A convenient entry and exit solution from the point of view of security. A huge number of halls.
I am glad that my book of fairy tales is in our library!
We went for a walk and one of the items was the National Library of Belarus. Of course, everything is modern inside, but due to the fact that it was raining and foggy, we could not climb to the observation deck. Nevertheless, there are large shopping malls with coffee shops and a chic park near the National library of Belarus, as well as a metro station.
I really liked the attitude of the employees. Everything was suggested . they helped me figure it out. They helped me formulate my thoughts on what and where to look and look for. It's fast. They didn 't find anything they were looking for , but they found it in another place and the archive staff suggested this way . thanks
One of the most popular attractions in Minsk. The observation deck offers a view of the entire city. I was also pleased with the availability of free binoculars, through which it was possible to examine the architecture of the city in more detail. There is free parking for a car.
The perfect place.
It is cool in summer, warm and bright in winter.
It's a pleasure to come once a week to the new arrivals department, and then go down to the 1st floor and have a coffee.
You can choose a room for any vibe: a large/small reading room, a table between shelves with books or choose a secluded armchair with large windows 😍
There is free WiFi and there are always several free exhibitions.
A gorgeous futuristic building. Cafes, toilets, a souvenir shop inside. There is available parking. The metro is a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful view from the observation deck of the city. Insanely beautiful backlight in the dark time of the day.
The library is the decoration of any city! And our National Library, fortunately, decorates our Minsk, even despite some dubious architectural solutions (mirrored glass would look more decent) and advertising of equally dubious bookmakers in the evenings, which is upsetting.
