A good local history museum. One of the advantages is the beautiful modern architecture of the building, interesting in itself, a very cool collection of jewelry, including the Hohenzollern and Spencer tiaras, a modern form of presentation of the exposition. It's only worth going for the jewelry. Otherwise, it is a regional museum of local lore with a good presentation of the material. You will find out how people lived here before they discovered oil and gas. Spoiler alert - we didn't live well. I visited the museum, I do not regret it and generally recommend it.

The building of the museum was designed by architects. In the shape of a desert rose, a very interesting exposition. Four interactive areas for children. They are very high-quality and interestingly executed. Find the Energy zone, it is a little hidden, but very interesting. A golf cart takes guests from the parking lot to the building and back. Qatar- love at first sight! I will definitely come back here, the museum is beautiful, I liked everything from the idea to the comfortable cool interior halls, fascinating screens and powerful stereo systems that transmit the sound of nature, the women of Qatar are amazing, the history of the formation of the state, its development. The disadvantage for a Russian tourist is the lack of a Russian audio guide, without which much will remain unclear. You can arrange with Russian-speaking guides in Doha to include the museum in the tour. Tickets are valid for three days from the date of purchase, so you can visit the museum with a guide on the first day, and then explore it in more detail in the following days.

Not so long ago, a new attraction opened in Doha – the Qatar National Museum.
The museum occupies a huge territory (To get around the entire museum, you will have to explore 11 galleries – which is almost three kilometers), and the building itself is designed in the shape of a desert rose.
The exposition is divided into three parts: "The Beginning", "Life in Qatar" and "The modern History of Qatar". This is a real story about the history of the peninsula and its modernity.
Especially impressive are the video projection and lighting, which create the feeling that you yourself are part of the video.
The museum has a lot of interactive exhibits, touch screens, touching which you can explore various images. There are whole rooms with displays and educational video games for children
