The museum offers a variety of exhibitions dedicated to the art, culture and history of the Commune. I was impressed by the breadth of the collections presented, from temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists to permanent exhibitions highlighting the unique history of the area. Each exhibition was well designed, which allowed for a deeper understanding of the topics presented. I especially remember the exhibition dedicated to music and subcultures, which reflected the spirit of Camden.
One of the best art galleries. Huge halls, lots of work. Admission is free, except for paid, private exhibitions. Convenient location. Before Covid, it was very convenient to get there without an appointment and without queues. Now everything has changed.
It is better to order a picturesque portrait from professionals. And here you can find an artist who works in a manner close to you and for any budget.
Guides (guides) are absolutely not needed: a huge number of canvases, as they say, are "by ear".
There are small concerts of classical and modern music.
The difficulty is one: it's hard to get out. It's just that, for example, the legs themselves lead from the Rembrandt hall... to the Rembrandt Hall, and this is just one of the many moments. And so it is every time: you go to Covent Garden, but leave an hour earlier, and devote an hour to the Gallery. The next day, you include her visit in your repertoire again, and so on all the time. It is huge not so much in volume as in the scale of the work.
A wonderful gallery, if you are interested in the history of England, then this gallery will help you, fill your mind with images. All the royal dynasties will take their places!
