Terrible place 😂 The first impression is of course cool: a new beautiful building, everything is clean, beautiful, the library is already 5 floors high! But that's it) The inspection is like you're entering a strategic facility. They couldn't really explain anything, they walked around the 1st floor for 10 minutes, trying to figure out what needs to be done to be allowed to the elevator. It turns out that the entrance is paid, we paid 2,000 per person, you must have your passport with you. Then they put things in the wardrobe (all things), they weren't even allowed to take water with them, and there are no coolers anywhere. As a result, it turned out that out of 5 floors there are books in Russian only on the 4th floor, and even then only a few styles and a few on the 3rd floor, and on the 5th floor there are no books at all. There are computer rooms with Wi-Fi (but Wi-Fi is paid)) The library is full, they barely found a free place, and in some departments people are sitting right on the floor. And in addition to everything, it turns out that books are not given out at home here. In general, this library is purely for local students to prepare for exams or, for example, for candidates of science to sit and look for materials for scientific papers. And I will never come here again)

The National Library named after Alisher Navoi is a huge repository of knowledge. Convenient location in the city center, near huge hotels, bus and metro stations, a museum, a market, a park and much more. Cozy, comfortable and clean, the most important thing is to work until the evening.

Such a good library. There are all the amenities. A quiet place. You can sit from morning to evening and read. You just have to go and take a seat before lunch. It will be almost full by lunchtime. But if you ask the staff, they will help you find an empty seat or offices.

Очень уютно. Все продумано для того чтобы делать уроки или просто посидеть почитать. Летом работает кондиционер, в помещении прохладно. Есть розетки для гаджетов. Жаль с собой можно взять только воду

Единственная библиотека в своём роде во всем Узбекистане, большое количество мест для посетителей, гардероб работает хорошо, правое крыло работает круглосуточно, но проверка очень строгая, как в аэропорту, со своей книжкой туда не зайдёшь(и эту книгу вряд-ли найдёшь в библиотеке), хоть мест и много но найти свободное место очень сложно.

Новое здание, аккуратное. Но архитектура очень спорная, так давно не строят и тем более библиотеки. Сама библиотека несуразная, совсем не похожа на культурный и общественный центр, каким должна быть современная библиотека. И особенно неприятно что меня обыскали при выходе, значит есть случаи хищения книг, но подозревать в этом всех и каждого это уже за гранью порядочности.

Ходили 13июля,мест нет,огорчает конечно,но всё таки была приятно удивлена неужели так много молодежи которые читает все 4этажа заняты, советую приходить пораньше работают с 8 утра

Библиотека масштабная конечно но система вентиляции слабая .
Безопасность на высшем уровнее .
Девушки на ресепшене тоже свою работу выполняют отлично ,
но дальшее тихий ужас сотрудники просто сидят и болтают особо помочь даже не хотят .
Чтобы найти книгу 7 кругов ада пройдете .
Гоняют с этажа на этаж народу много .
В конце так и не нашли нужную книгу хотя обычная классика искали Гоголь

Просто огромный выбор литературы!
При чем на разных языках.
Несложный способ стать читателем.
Наличие паспорта и оплата всего 7000 сумм.
Интересные экспозиции.
Доброжелательный персонал
Из минусов: для посетителей один лифт, быстрее подняться по лестнице =) .

По моему здесь маловато бестселлеров на английском . Но в целом очень классно!
