Good place for reading book. And there have tons of books. If you need you can find anyting. But very high security service, sometime it is very inconvenient
Terrible place 😂 The first impression is of course cool: a new beautiful building, everything is clean, beautiful, the library is already 5 floors high! But that's it) The inspection is like you're entering a strategic facility. They couldn't really explain anything, they walked around the 1st floor for 10 minutes, trying to figure out what needs to be done to be allowed to the elevator. It turns out that the entrance is paid, we paid 2,000 per person, you must have your passport with you. Then they put things in the wardrobe (all things), they weren't even allowed to take water with them, and there are no coolers anywhere. As a result, it turned out that out of 5 floors there are books in Russian only on the 4th floor, and even then only a few styles and a few on the 3rd floor, and on the 5th floor there are no books at all. There are computer rooms with Wi-Fi (but Wi-Fi is paid)) The library is full, they barely found a free place, and in some departments people are sitting right on the floor. And in addition to everything, it turns out that books are not given out at home here. In general, this library is purely for local students to prepare for exams or, for example, for candidates of science to sit and look for materials for scientific papers. And I will never come here again)
The National Library named after Alisher Navoi is a huge repository of knowledge. Convenient location in the city center, near huge hotels, bus and metro stations, a museum, a market, a park and much more. Cozy, comfortable and clean, the most important thing is to work until the evening.
Great place
Such a good library. There are all the amenities. A quiet place. You can sit from morning to evening and read. You just have to go and take a seat before lunch. It will be almost full by lunchtime. But if you ask the staff, they will help you find an empty seat or offices.
Unfortunately, there are no necessary books for teachers. And personally, in my opinion, there is very little useful literature in general. So, for example, why are Julia Vysotskaya's recipes stored in the library?) And there are no books at all for students of special (defectological) education, only the textbook "Modern Life"
A gorgeous atmosphere inside, I already want to drown in this storehouse of knowledge)) Yes, you may not find what you specifically need, but I definitely recommend visiting. PS I hate books, but even for me this place is TOP
It's just awful. Just to get in, we checked up to inside the bag. It's a library or some kind of secret organization. Internet access is generally poor, there is a very strict filter to websites and traffic surveillance. If you're an IT guy, it's better not to go there to a coworking space)
By far the best library in the Republic. You can also find periodicals and magazines. The largest collection of books. Convenient search in the electronic system. There are also computers. The subscription price is very affordable

A beautiful large building. Next to the library there is a park, benches where you can sit and a few fountains. A well-maintained beautiful place. You can meet a lot of tourists.
There is a good atmosphere, a lot of books, but how difficult it is with food ahah tin how to go down from the fourth to eat and then go up at the same time.and comes out through tight control
The richest library in the country.
There are all kinds of books. I really liked the mobilization of the library.
You can register quickly, and then enjoy reading.
There are laptops for rent (affordable)
Made very comfortable for readers.
It feels like you're not in a library, but in a secure facility. You can't carry bags (even small ones), entrance is paid, employees are closed. Still that atmosphere
Great library! A big plus is that it works on weekends (even on Sundays). The selection of books is huge, everything is cozy, pleasant, everything is for readers👍
The biggest disadvantage of the library is that the Internet is not free. Resources are very limited. But this is the best place in Tashkent for self-study.

It's a pretty good place
I often come after school
A huge selection of books
The staff is good, kind
The atmosphere is working, there are a lot of people, especially at lunch
It's very cozy. Everything is thought out in order to do homework or just sit and read. In summer, the air conditioner works, the room is cool. There are sockets for gadgets. It's a pity you can only take water with you
No snacks
The only library of its kind in the whole of Uzbekistan, a large number of places for visitors, the wardrobe works well, the right wing works around the clock, but the check is very strict, like at the airport, you will not go there with your book (and you will hardly find this book in the library), although there are many places, but it is very difficult to find a free place It's difficult.

The beauty of the library is negated by the scarcity of literature .It is clear that Uzbekistan cannot purchase all the latest and advanced literature. But in some areas (anthropology, sociology, political science ) it is a complete failure , there are practically no sensible books.Sadness
I expected more from this library. The library does not have an outstanding assortment of books, there are no free places in the reading rooms on a day off, people are sitting on the floor. Very poor ventilation, stuffy.
Very strange staff... banned from entering the library building because of the SHORTS! The shorts weren't even short.… I don't know where my country is going…
New building, neat. But the architecture is very controversial, they haven't built libraries for so long. The library itself is awkward, it does not look at all like a cultural and social center, which a modern library should be. And it is especially unpleasant that I was searched at the exit, so there are cases of theft of books, but to suspect everyone of this is beyond the bounds of decency.
We went on July 13, there are no places, of course it is upsetting, but still I was pleasantly surprised are there really so many young people who read all 4 floors are busy, I advise you to come early and work from 8 am
The library is large -scale, of course, but the ventilation system is weak.
Security is at the highest level .
The girls at the reception also do their job perfectly ,
but the further quiet horror of the staff is just sitting and chatting , they don't even want to help much .
To find the book, you will go through 7 circles of hell .
They drive a lot of people from floor to floor .
In the end, they did not find the right book, although they were looking for the usual classics Gogol
Just a huge selection of literature!
Moreover, in different languages.
A simple way to become a reader.
Having a passport and paying only 7000 amounts.
Interesting expositions.
Friendly staff
Among the disadvantages: there is one elevator for visitors, it is faster to climb the stairs =).
Entrance from the courtyard ;)
