We visited the exhibition of New Year's toys, the ticket office on the 1st floor, the halls on the 3rd floor, 3 halls are included in the ticket, there are also unique toys and stories on a4 forms on the walls of New Year celebrations in different countries and cultures, it is quite interesting to read who is more curious. In the first hall, there is a small photo zone, modest, but not bad, plus a screen where you can watch a video of the toy creation process, he was surprised. There are toys from various islands, even the names of which have not been heard, interesting figures, toys and decor from Africa, Peru, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, USA, Iceland, etc. and the famous Dutch New Year's porcelain, a copy of the largest glass ball from the Book of Records, presented to the last Pope, of course, I would like even more stands For some it will be fine, for others it will not be enough. The price doesn't bite on tickets. On the downside, the silence is like in a library that you can touch.. For the atmosphere, they could play music on the speakers on a regular basis, for example, a New Year's theme or just a calm instrumental. We also visited the historical museum and the Museum of Ecology and Nature earlier, which is in the basement without a tour- it's fine, I liked the Nature Museum, it's very well done, and then we showed a small retro movie with an instructive story about why hedgehogs are better off in the wild. Of course, the historical one is a bit weak for such a museum, but it was still interesting to me, perhaps I would still listen to the reviews and complement the exposition.I would also like to mention the cool stained glass windows, the building is spacious and clean. Taste and color. I don't know if I should advise the guests of the capital, for me, the Nature Museum is cool on the ground floor, especially the hall with models of butterflies and beetles - I've seen so many here, there are different opinions in the reviews, but 2 adults liked it, it's great for me. I hope they will do it in a historical way later, like in an Archiological one, with interactive content and some cool zones. But I still can't rate less than that. For me, the Museum of Ecology has leveled the situation, tickets can be taken for all or part of the exhibition)
It's a good museum. We were very pleased with the interactive exhibits in the Hall of Culture. A great souvenir shop. There is not enough audio guide. Groups of schoolchildren who were aping in the halls were very much in the way. Perhaps organized groups should have a separate day.
A wonderful themed exhibition on New Year's toys. From exclusive to mass-produced, from the ancient 19th century to the modern, different styles, traditions of the new year and Christmas. Interesting, a recommendation to visit.
