Nice location. They are gradually being restored. You definitely need to stop by. There is a good souvenir shop and an art gallery nearby, which is also a must-visit.
An amazingly beautiful place with a long history.although the restoration is underway, there is enough space for review and reflection.I want to come back again
An attraction to view at a time. At least not yet. According to my observations, visitors coped with this task in an average of twenty minutes. In order not to be annoyed at all for visiting, try to look back at the "Lithuanian". Fortunately, it is very close, about 4, 5 kilometers away.
I give 5 stars only in memory of the history that is associated with this place. Now the castle hill is under reconstruction, which simply ruined the whole historicity of this place, and the remains of the castle are closed with a grid as emergency, now you can't get close to them
The tour to the castle is part of a city tour. At the moment, restoration work is underway in the castle. There are no problems getting into the territory on weekends. Interesting.
There was nothing left of the castle. I don't know if it's being preserved or reconstructed. But everything is now in red brick. There is nothing to see except construction equipment. Although there is a nice antique shop nearby. There was something to see there))
Repairs are in full swing, But they entered the territory without any problems. Beautiful views of the city. Worth a visit. One of the oldest restored objects. But apart from the walls there is basically nothing
The castle on the mountain. The castle of my childhood . I always have only warm feelings when I look at him. Of course, the castle deserves to be restored and to be a landmark for everyone. But I'm not sure that it can be restored in such a way as to preserve all its deep historical value .
Why are you laying everything with this wretched light brick? Couldn't you find a similar color for the sake of the Novogrudok Castle? Horror and darkness! The wall that is being built now looks like a terrible remodel built by a fifth grader. Was it impossible to find professionals for Novogrudok?
It's just an attraction, you need to invest a lot of money, the ruins of the castle are not the only thing that attracts Novogrudok, I advise you to visit, a lot of emotions and photos
An atmospheric place. The castle itself (or rather, what is left of it) is small, but from the mountain on which it is located, there is a great view! And at the foot, there is a 600-year-old church....
An atmospheric historical place. There is a very beautiful view from the mountain on which part of the castle is located. Now (June 2022) the castle is being reconstructed, but you can enter the territory.
For lovers and admirers of history, I recommend 100500, I am overly glad that the reconstruction of this castle has begun, it will be grandiose (although I am sure it will not be soon) be careful in the fog, since the earthen ramparts are huge and the slope is not visible
One piece of wall... But there is a reconstruction nearby (an antique model). The advantage is a beautiful panoramic view both from the mountain itself and from the nearby burial mound in memory and with the monument to Adam Mickiewicz.
I've loved being there since I was a kid. Only before the reconstruction I liked it more. You're getting closer to history, to antiquity)

It is difficult to call it an ancient castle, the renovation was done, but they forgot that it should at least a little resemble ancient masonry. The city itself is cute and compact, But the territory of the ancient castle cannot be entered yet due to repairs.
This castle will be interesting for tourists, but only after reconstruction. Now there is a lonely ruined tower and there is a lot of construction of new, they are old, towers and walls. There is a great monument to Adam Mickiewicz nearby. There is also a beautiful view of the Neumann River - there it bends picturesquely. It is also worth going to the souvenir shop near the monument-there are real works of art and inexpensive. And various souvenirs. If you are lucky with the weather, you will enjoy the tour.
One of the oldest castles in Belarus. Every time I come to Novogrudok, I go to the ruins of the castle with joy and trepidation. The views from the towers are of stunning beauty. You feel like an ant when you look up at the castle. And you feel like a bird when you stand on top! Many did so: they spread their arms like wings...
This is something that, as they say, looks into the distant past. Those who appreciate history and are interested in our ancestors and their activities, then you need to go there, words cannot describe the feeling.
The place is very atmospheric and beautiful. It is a pity that extremely insignificant elements have been preserved from the castle. Restoration work is currently underway.
You shouldn't expect to see a castle there, only a fragment of the wall has been preserved there, but it's really amazing. And a very beautiful view from above
Such a beautiful view opens from the place where the ruins of the castle are breathtaking. Although I am not from Novogrudok, I come to this city only because of this view.
A historical place steeped in the mystery of a tempting past. Another historical place where you can get in touch with the historical past of our long-suffering Belarusian land.

The castle of the first capital INCL. We will wait for the restoration. Also, do not forget to visit the Mindov monument.
By and large, nothing special. Ruins and ruins🙂
But still, the ancient city and the first capital INCL.
We stopped by on the way from Grodno to Minsk (via Mir Castle). On the way, you might say.
The ruins of one of the most ancient, large, and magnificent castles of his native country. Novogrudok is the first capital of the Russian Federation, the place where Mindovg was supposedly crowned, surrounded by shrines with a centuries-old history and a unique landscape. Tip - look for a guide in advance - it will be exciting, interesting and very informative for children and adults
