The hotel is very conveniently located, we stayed in it twice, as it is close to all the most popular tourist and shopping facilities in Berlin. Nearby there are grocery and industrial stores with quite a budget price tag, as well as numerous cafes and restaurants where you can eat well and again on a budget. If you leave the hotel and go deeper into the streets behind it, they will lead directly to the famous Bavarian restaurant Maximilian, to the Concert Hall on Gendarmenmarkt, to the famous chocolate and German folk souvenir shops, to the rich shopping districts. A couple of bus stops from the hotel is the large clothing Mall, a little further away is the famous cinema center, and next to it are the Tiergarten, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, which, in turn, leads to the Island of Museums, to Alexander Platz and the station of the same name... If you leave the hotel, just cross the street and walk a little further, you will find yourself on the famous Check Point Charlie. There are also many eateries around it, as well as souvenir shops.
As for the hotel itself, it has excellent service, and for a very normal fee. Some maids speak Russian, as they are from the CIS countries themselves, which is very convenient when you need to ask for something like an iron or an additional service: they will explain and explain. The rooms, even the smallest of the fund, are comfortable, clean, hypoallergenic, which is important for allergy sufferers. The rooms themselves are cool, but there is a possibility of heating - according to your own need - by an air conditioner that works for both heating and cooling in hot weather... In the rooms there is a kettle, Nestle coffee maker, coffee capsules and tea bags. There is a tiny refrigerator, but the two of us had enough to put in bread, cheese and sausage cuts bought at the supermarket next door. We had breakfast in the room and went for a walk or took buses around the city: their central routes are designed so that you can see all the main "postcard" attractions in one or two trips. And if you had to go somewhere to the far ends of Berlin or even Germany, then the nearest metro station is around the corner from the hotel, and the two main stations are several bus stops in both directions from this hotel.
One of the best hotels in Berlin! The best service. Cleanliness! Great breakfasts! The very center of the city. Charlie checkpoint is right, Alexanderplatz is on the left. German and French at home. The street itself, on which it is located, is Leipzigstrasse, parallel to the main one from the Bundestag.
