It is a small museum located in a simple room under the stairs. The museum is really small, it has only one room, and there are no original Pirosmani paintings here, only reproductions and photographs. However, this is a pleasant place, especially interesting for those who want to learn more about the life and work of the artist. The museum also presents the real conditions in which the artist himself lived, conveying the asceticism and atmosphere of the times in which he worked.
Historical Museum of the most famous Georgian artist. I recommend you to visit, according to the history of his life, Alla Pugacheva sang the famous song "A million scarlet roses"

If you are prepared for the fact that the museum is the only room of the artist, then nothing. And we were hoping for a little more. It's better to go to the gallery if you want to see his work
Just out of respect for Mr. Pirosmani, I give 4 stars
In fact, this is the place where a talented artist has spent the last few years
The works are not presented
It's a small museum. We didn't even find him right away. A small room under the stairs, where the artist spent his last years, and a hall where his self-portraits and portraits of other artists are exhibited

Thanks to the staff for the tour , very nice women with a wonderful Russian language . Only when I saw a room with a carpet on the wall from the artist's mother .....I began to understand his paintings, as pure as love for his mother and sincere as loyalty to his beloved....Thank you for saving this room for posterity.....I hope the restoration will be even better after, especially the facade!!!!
An absolutely inconspicuous entrance among the narrow streets of Tbilisi. The last resting place of a wonderful artist. He spent his last days in this little room! While in Tbilisi, mark this address for yourself for the tour.
Dear lovers of art and historical sites!
In this museum, you will be shown the nook under the stairs where Pirosmani lived. It's dark and sad. There's no point in coming here. Tickets for three cost 400 rubles. The visit took 1 minute and then we hesitated.
The most famous artist in Georgia. "A million scarlet Roses" is Alla Pugacheva's song just about him and it is even rumored that she bought a house for herself here somewhere nearby, which I readily believe, because it was this song that made her famous and Pugacheva's career began with it. Now the whole area is being rebuilt and when everything is ready, according to rumors, Alla Pugacheva was invited to our opening
