A very beautiful place, a beautiful cathedral, located at the top of the city, has a spacious area for viewing the city and the sea, many benches, a paid toilet. It will not be possible to get from the embankment on your own, because it is very uphill and far away. Inside the temple itself with beautiful paintings, but we were unpleasantly surprised by an employee of the temple, who ran after all the tourists all the time and shouted No photo. At the same time, you can take photos at the entrance, already inside the temple, you can not start from the middle of the hall. At the time of our stay, there were only tourists in the cathedral, I did not see a single parishioner. This employee made more noise than all the tourists combined. Why make the cathedral an architectural treasure and not allow you to take photos of frescoes, stained glass windows and inscriptions? No one tried to take pictures of people, in Algeria it is generally not welcome.
