We decided to relax with our friends on March 8th at Novikov's restaurant in Istanbul, as we like his restaurants in Moscow and Dubai. We were faced with an incomprehensible situation: they gave us a menu, the prices were higher than in Moscow, but they didn't pay attention to it... already at home they decided to go to the official website of the restaurant and realized that they had given us a menu with different prices!!! 2 or even 3 times more expensive, I would like to understand what really happened!!! I'm attaching a photo of the receipt, (I was confused by the situation that they didn't have time to put the receipt on the table and immediately took it away, I asked them to leave it)where is the price indicated, for example,pizza Margarita for 1100 lire, although the menu has 580, the rolls took spicy salmon 680, the price on the website is 260.... The same situation applies to every ordered item. This is the first time I've encountered this
The entrance to the establishment is through the main entrance of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. If you do not stay at the hotel, then you need to keep in mind that there are time intervals in the hotel (around 16-17h) when the restaurant is closed and dinner is served for the guests. You can reserve a table, but it's for dinner. If you are not hungry and planned to stop by at this time for a cocktail, a light snack or to drink tea with desserts, you will not be imprisoned. The staff is very qualified and friendly. Prices, when compared with Moscow, are definitely higher. But it's delicious.
