The hotel itself is good, but the service leaves much to be desired ...
1) We were alone in this hotel from a travel agency, it was assured that there are Russian-speaking staff, but no, there are no Russian-speaking staff from the word at all (this is not a big problem, because we speak English, but for those who do not know English it can it's a bit problematic, but not critical).
2) In the room every day, the staff made the bed, took out the trash, tried to replenish consumables (mostly those that are not needed in principle). On the first day, when we checked in, we were not left with pasta, we had to go down to the reception and tell them to put pasta for us. The pastes in this bag are literally for one time, so I had to save a little. Shaving machines, shower caps, combs were endlessly replenished (as if it was forbidden to comb with one comb for a week), it would be better to replenish the paste every day..
3) We returned to the room every day in the evening and found wet rags in the room, which apparently the cleaners forgot when they cleaned.
4) On the first day, we immediately decided to ask for two plates and two forks in the room so that we could eat something in the evening in the room, as a result, they brought us these plates only on the third day, although we asked more than once. And that was brought only after we met the cleaner in our room because we returned early from the beach and asked for him. But the bad luck is, they didn't bring us forks, but a knife.. After that, we still gave up trying to ask for anything. Either the staff doesn't really know English themselves, or they're being bullied.
5) An offensive moment occurred on my girlfriend's birthday. It just so happened that the manager himself asked how old she was and found out word for word that just the day before she had a doctor. The manager told the girl to come to the reception at 00:00, a surprise would be waiting for her. Well, we decided to go for the sake of interest, it's always nice to receive gifts. She left at 00:00, this manager was at the reception, she approached him, he forgot about what he said about the surprise, in the surprise. He told them to go to the room anyway, because they would bring a surprise there. Okay, let's go to the room, waited for an hour, no one brought anything, went to bed. The next day, this manager was on shift and decided to ask if a surprise had been brought or not, we said no, he said he would figure it out and bring everything. But no, they didn't bring anything. To be honest, we didn't even need this surprise at all if they hadn't told us about it themselves. We wouldn't even have mentioned DR, but it's a shame that they said about him themselves, and then just ignored him.
6) About breakfast: they are edible. A large selection of food according to the buffet principle. Of course, many things are either very salty or tasteless. But I liked the potatoes, eggs, and pancakes with different toppings.
The hotel is terrible!!! The third day here, stop not with disposable slippers, not with toothpastes, not with toothbrushes. Towels are not changed. The handles are broken in the doors. In the windows, too, do not ventilate the room. I don't understand how dare those who squeak that a good hotel, etc. Friends, I do not advise you to stop here. Find other decent places through your friends. You'll regret it later. And the food is generally disgusting, not of high quality and not tasty. I can send photos all over the hotel from the room to the restaurant all the joints. The photos that they have put up here themselves do not meet the requirements of many.
The room was dirty, the hair was floating in the toilet, the bathroom was dirty, there were no slippers in the room, there were no adapters for European sockets, the soap ran out before we checked in, it was not filled during our stay, there were no dental kits. It was a very long check-in, we arrived at 6 p.m., they said that the room was not ready, another room that the employee picked up, another receptionist did not allow us to give it to us.
I have been coming to this hotel to relax with my family for more than 5 years.
I do not recommend visiting and relaxing this hotel, due to the fact that it has begun to cooperate with various student organizations, including from Europe, this is certainly not bad for the hotel. If you are a guest of the hotel and a large group of students is visiting, students came from Italy during my stay.
They smoked in the pool for children, spat into the pool water, took toys from my children and other guests without asking.
I also lived on the 17th floor and the students made a lot of noise at night, walked drunk on the floors and prevented other guests from sleeping .
I am sorry that this hotel has deteriorated and accommodates ill -mannered guests, while their group is more than 50 people and they behaved rudely .I do not recommend visiting the hotel, especially with children, in my opinion
We had a rest in March 2024. I really liked the hotel. Flawless. No complaints. The room was a suite on the 24th floor with two rooms and a king-size bed. The windows overlooked the highway. Cleaning every day, everything will be changed, made up, a buffet for every taste. The staff is friendly, helpful, smart. The pool is also normal. The location is also convenient. A few steps from the ost metro station. Mashureq seems like it. Next to the huge Mall of the Emirats, we liked everything.
Very good location, the center of Sharjah is right on the embankment diagonally from the Locomotives, the hotel territory is pleasant, the fountain in front of the entrance is gorgeous, the hotel is renovated, very nice and stylish, comfortable beds,an opening balcony, there is even an iron with ironing board and scales, decent food, the pool is large and clean, the lifeguard is constantly on duty, left only pleasant memories, definitely recommend
We stayed at this hotel from March 22 to March 29, 2023. The location of the hotel is excellent, near the metro, three minutes, a Mall (one metro stop), we walked, cafes, shops in the next building, there we bought fruits, juices. We had breakfast and dinner, sometimes changed for lunch, you definitely won't stay hungry, the choice of dishes is good, the decoration is super, it happened that we had lunch together.
There is a transfer to the beach, for two different ones. We went to both, which we didn't like in Dubai Marina because of the large number of people.
On the 7th floor there is a swimming pool, gym, sauna. The rooms are a little tired, but they cleaned perfectly, changed towels and bed linen every day, washed the bathroom floor, couldn't turn on the TV, immediately solved this problem, water was also leaking in the bathroom, everything was fixed in 5 minutes, thanks for solving the problems, everything is prompt. We communicated with the staff through a translator, an application, everyone is friendly, smiling. Thank you for the rest, everything is fine, if we return to Dubai, we will definitely come to you.
I really liked the hotel and the service! Yes, the rooms are not perfectly new, the furniture is a little shabby. But these are small things. There is a Russian-speaking girl at the reception Anastasia, everything will help, prompt, explain, it's very convenient. The room was cleaned every day, towels, water and tea and coffee also every day. There are two pools and a bar, the water is good. The breakfasts are monotonous, of course, but we alternated between dishes and always ate enough, everything looks quite tasty and appetizing. It is also very convenient that there is a metro station in 3-4 minutes. And there are restaurants and shops nearby, all within walking distance. In general, I recommend the hotel! We liked it.
The service is at a height, 10/10, cleaning is normal, breakfasts and dinners are good, change, the room is dirty : the carpet is stained, not vacuumed or washed, the chair is dirty, the location relative to trips is good, the metro is two steps away, it is very far to the beach,15 km, 10 minutes by metro and 15 more on foot, to the center is close and there are huge distances everywhere, transfer to JBR beach 14:55 - 18:00, it's getting dark at 17, it's cold, to kite beach 9:05 - 13:00, they are late
In general, I liked the rest. There are many advantages as well as disadvantages
Everything is known by comparison. The hotel is good, cleaning for 4, very dirty windows. There were no Russian-speaking staff for 6 days. I had to go to the reception to get water. There is a very large influx of locals from Friday to Sunday. There is no place for walking, you need to go by public transport. The metro is within walking distance. The kitchen is without frills, but you will not stay hungry.
How I want to go back, I've been to Dubai 6 times, a wonderful city, but the Novotel is a special place, beautiful, the food is wonderful, the metro is nearby, which means all the sights and malls are available, the staff is responsive, I came up with an excuse to chat and leave in a good mood, there is a bus to the beach, I will definitely return to where I felt good
The nearest metro station did not work all 4 days of our stay, we had to walk to the Emirates Mall for 20 minutes - it was hot)
In general, the hotel is normal, just average, everything worked, everything is old, cleaning is daily, there is a transfer to the sea.
We didn't take breakfast, we won't be able to evaluate it. The pool is really sunny in early May from 15:00 to 17:30.
Very nice hotel. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the metro. Along the way there is a great supermarket with a very wide selection. The rooms are cozy and clean. Everything you need is in the room. The breakfast buffet is very decent. I liked the hotel
Wonderful hotel near Mashrek metro station. Very cozy and conducive to a pleasant stay. I was here on a business trip - the quality of the breakfasts is excellent, the staff knows their business. And the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, and the window offers a view of the Burj Al Arab hotel, or simply "Sail".
Everything is fine. The room is definitely a suite. Anyway, we got a great one :) The metro and the pier are nearby. The staff is friendly. Buses from the hotel take you to the beach (it seemed to us the best in Dubai). The food is super. I'll bet you five!
very convenient location and a good business hotel for 2-3 days, varied meals, I recommend half board. The pool is also decent, although the sun is only there after 16h. But the hammam and sauna are very cramped and require repair.
We are currently staying with our daughter in this hotel. I really like the service and staff. Especially the waitress Ranali. A very sociable and caring girl.
The best and most beautiful city in the world, and this hotel is one of the best hotels that have 4 stars. It's sooo beautiful there. The food there is excellent, just delicious. The service is at the highest level. The rooms are very conveniently located, the Windows overlook the city and the bay. The staff is very nice and helpful. Very clean and good, there is everything you need. GBR Beach is the coolest beach, it's very beautiful there. The transfer is free to the beach and to all Retail outlets. There are two indoor and outdoor pools in the hotel. There is a mini bar near the outdoor one.
For your money, a normal hotel. I give 5 stars for the staff.
The guys are attentive and ready to help. There is an opportunity to change money in the lobby.
But I want to update the rooms. Significantly outdated.
Good location. Great dinners.breakfast with a swimming pool. Standard for all hotels. Transfer to two beaches . I would add another later transfer to the nearest beach. I really liked the hotel and the staff.
I liked it very much. I chose a hotel based on reviews, so I decided to write too. We're just leaving today. There were 8 nights.
Nice clean hotel. Excellent service. Delicious breakfasts, a large selection of dishes. We only took breakfast so as not to be tied to the place.
We had breakfast late, around 10 local time, around 11 Moscow time. It was like lunch for us)
Coffee from vending machines, there are even soups (lentil), stewed potatoes, etc. I like it.
It's really cool in the room, although the air conditioning was turned off immediately. Warmed up in the sauna)
Warm pool.
There is a Tasty cafe nearby. I fell in love with salad with avocado and tuna with sweet and sour sauce).
The beaches are clean, the water is too. Transfer toltko once waited for 30-40 minutes. And so it's always on time. In general, we sunbathed, bought up. I liked the beach better at the Marina, where the shuttle goes three times a day. There are a lot of people, but the infrastructure is all nearby. And the toilet is free and good, there are changing rooms. The shower is paid, deck chairs and umbrellas are available. I don't sunbathe for a long time, so I swam, and then I walked along the beautiful Embankment. It is fashionable to sunbathe on the sand. In general, I was satisfied with everything.
Great Location
Before the Burj Khalifa.15 min
The rooms on the subway are clean
The staff is polite.Breakfast.with a huge selection!
I advise everyone!
Our big campaign lived in 3 different rooms. A large family room of 3 rooms, 5 toilets, a kitchen, a huge living room, a room for suitcases - this room is cool. But the standard room is so-so. It's small, the windows don't open, there are no toothbrushes or toothpaste in the rooms! But the service is fast and clear! The safe broke down, it was changed very quickly (since it could not be repaired). The breakfast is good, decent. The spa area on the 7th floor is good. You have to get to the beach by taxi (25 dirhams), but towels can be taken at the hotel in the Spa. Bottom line: I recommend 👍
The hotel is a solid four. The location is good, near the metro, the Mall of Emirates is a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast at the hotel is good, the cleanliness is on the level. I recommend.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. The location is good, Near Emirates Mall. On the downside, it's a little noisy because of the road, but thanks to it, excellent transport accessibility.
Excellent hotel, beautiful rooms, polite staff (I know English very poorly, but the staff tried to help and understand what I'm saying), not very far from the sea, near the metro, a swimming pool in the hotel with a red view of the Parus hotel and the sea. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast will please you with a variety of food, as well as drinks, a coffee machine where you can choose the right drink, tea and juices
The hotel has 4 points out of 5. The staff is friendly and responsive, there are no complaints about the quality of service. It is located near the metro, for which it is a huge plus. There are shortcomings in the arrangement of the rooms, furniture and plumbing are battered. The cuisine is mainly Oriental. Therefore, for those who prefer European cuisine, dinners will seem monotonous
A terrible hotel, it doesn't pull on the 2nd floor, it's very, very dirty everywhere, there are hairs and stains on the carpets🤢 The food is mostly Indian, not tasty. How I got 4* I do not even know 🤬
The hotel does not pull for 4*, breakfasts are poor and monotonous, room cleaning is weak, they constantly forget something (towel, water)to change or staff, you need to call and ask.
The second time in this hotel, the experience is already simpler, especially in terms of service: they promise, but they don't, you have to apply a hundred times for minimal requests. Overall, the location is good, the metro is nearby, the view from the windows is excellent. The pool is in the shade, only at sunset there is a little sun, in summer it is relevant, the rest of the time it is so-so. Breakfasts are monotonous
A three-star hotel. No more.
They took only breakfast, there was no variety for a single day during the week. The breakfasts are very simple and cheap. The hotel has as many as two pools, but both are on the shady side and there is nothing to do there! The balconies are tightly closed. There is no place to dry things from the beach. Room cleaning is not at the highest level. They clean every day, but not very efficiently. They haven't vacuumed once in a week.
There is no Russian-speaking staff. There are no Russian-language channels on TV.
The choice is yours)
The coolest dinners (and different every day... Indian Knight, Filipino and Italian). The metro is nearby - it's a fact.
The breakfasts are so-so weak. The pools are average 2 pcs in the shade, a sauna for 2-3 people and a dead one. It can be seen that the entire hotel has been without repair for many, many years. A favorite hotel for Hindus and Pakistanis.
A very mediocre hotel. In the room where we live- 1319, something is faulty all the time
The room itself is very shabby, the carpet requires major dry cleaning, the furniture is replaced. For 4 days of stay, the key was demagnetized 3 times.
The TV was losing sound all the time. There is no Russian channel, by the way.
The safe was broken, there was no shower gel. No dressing gowns, no slippers (it's good that I brought my own). The dishes are of various sizes, there is only one teaspoon...they also wrote about dirty windows in previous reviews. The transfer to the beach is always late - by 10 am you will be brought, and at 13 o'clock they are already taking you away....and everything is somehow like this ...
all these "little things" are accumulating and I will definitely not recommend this hotel.
Pros- settled quickly. There are breakfasts...
This is terrible! The old hotel, the rooms are terrible. Take the dirt and wash it yourself. It's a strange neighborhood, you can only choose it out of ignorance.
We had breakfasts and dinners: the choice is great! For dinner there was meat (beef, lamb, chicken) and fish (not every day).
The room was cleaned and linen was changed every day. The only drawback is that the room does not have a balcony and somehow it is wet, clothes cannot be dried. But there is an iron and ironing board in the room, if something is to dry)) The staff is very friendly, but without knowledge of English here, as well as in Dubai itself, it is very difficult 😁
The metro is opposite, Near cafes, pharmacy, shops, supermarket and Emirate mall.
Nice city hotel.
Clean rooms, but a little tired.
Responsive staff, ready to solve your questions
There is a daily transfer from the hotel to kite beach.
The breakfasts are monotonous, but everything you need is there.
Nearby there is a metro station and places where you can have dinner.
I had a rest in this hotel from 07.09.2022 to 21.09.2022. I really liked the hotel! The staff is very friendly, they help with everything, they gave us a room on the 10th floor with a window to the construction site, the next day we changed the room to the 20th floor with a panoramic window and a view of the bay and the Buj Al Arab hotel. There were no Russian speakers from the staff, they communicated through an online translator. The food is delicious and of high quality, the Internet router in each room is quite fast and free, but sometimes "slowed down". Towels were changed every day, bed linen every 3 days. Comfortable mattresses and very soft bed linen. In the room there is a kettle, tea, coffee, cups, glasses, safe, armchair, table. Ironing board and iron are available on request. Also, at my request, they gave me a smaller pillow. The transfer to the beach is free, in the morning at 9.05 they took you to Kite Beach and took you back at 13 o'clock. At lunch and in the evening we drove to the Marina beach. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, free hamam and sauna, massage is very expensive, they did not take it. Near the hotel there is a supermarket West zone, outlet Brands for Less. I highly recommend this hotel for a holiday!
