Paid breakfast buffet is a bomb. Excellent assortment, delicious, pleasant contingent of guests. The rooms are also very decent, stylish furnishings. Coolers with water in the hallway. There are no plastic cups, but you can pour into a decanter from the room and drink from glasses in the room. Everything is clean, there are enough towels and shampoos. The restaurants are interesting, but not budget-friendly. The location is good. The staff is polite, they will tell you everything. There is Wi-Fi both in the room and in the hotel downstairs, you can also charge it there. It's funny that there's a glass wall in the room and you can see the bed. A hammock, in my opinion, is not needed, but someone may like it. It looks nice, but it takes up space. It's decent to walk to the elevator if the room is at the end of the hotel. From the window on the 5th floor in the corridor you can see a wonderful view of the mountains! Convenient parking. The taxi is coming close. You can also call a taxi from the reception, but then the payment is in cash. I was satisfied.

I liked the hotel. It is conveniently located, near the shopping center there is a park, an Arbat (pedestrian street) and a cloud of cafes. The breakfasts are very tasty. I didn't have enough water bottles in the room, but the hotel positions itself as plastic-free, then the water is in the coolers on the floor. A shaving kit, a set of bamboo brush + mini paste, a shower cap, a file, a cotton pad and an ear stick are put in the bathroom. Everything used is replaced on the next day in the cleaning. The staff is very polite. There is a beautiful playground next to the hotel. I advise you to visit.

Everything is at the right level, but breakfast will exceed expectations. I had breakfast in different hotels around the world, but there is no such variety anywhere... I can't say that cooking is better than others. No. But the variety of dishes and fruits is excellent. I have stayed at this hotel many times and each time the breakfast bar is at the highest level. The rooms in the hotel are bigger and more comfortable. There are rooms for people with disabilities. Food, breakfast, and the restaurant are not cheap. There are budget cafes near the hotel.

2- the room is large, clean and comfortable (living room, two rooms and two bathrooms)The room has everything and even more (for example, a dishwasher). Light control via Alice. Alice speakers in every room. Everything is modern!

Everything is new: furniture, appliances. The rooms are equipped with a hairdryer and slippers. Bathrobe, iron and other items are only available upon request at the reception. The rooms are cozy, but very small. The separate beds are very close. The breakfasts are good and delicious. The corridors are dim. I've been staying at the hotel for two weeks now. We came as a group to support the production. Nice spacious rooms, well-shaped, do not press. The condition is 5 out of 5. Breakfasts for 5+, a wide range of dishes. Room service is excellent, cleaning service is provided every day. The staff is very polite and helpful.

It is confusing that you cannot adjust the temperature of the thermostat, only the intensity of the blowout, but these are small things. I lived during a business trip - everything was fine. I would not stay with a family with children because of the strange climate system in the room.

Guys, we stayed here for almost a week in the middle of July 2024. Basically, everything is standard. It's a big hotel, but it's not easy to find your room. The rooms are clean and quiet, but for some reason they include air conditioning during cleaning. The staff is polite, but they forgot to make a copy of the documents upon check-in. A good breakfast, but putting together a lunch box is a problem.
In general, we recommend it!

The old historical center of the city. Once it was the legendary ZHETISU hotel. It is located in the old city center nearby, there are arbats and a bunch of different shops and cafes. There is also a lounge coffee shop in the building itself, as well as a TARA coffee shop with a separate entrance and a Sandyk restaurant that cannot be accessed. There is a check-in directly to the hotel. The corridors are a bit cramped, but overall everything is quite cozy, clean and tidy. The building may be historical, but the renovation here is brand new. As in all the others, the ibis is concise and neat.

Stayed for 2 nights, in a standard room. On the second day, they forgot to update the paste, and the brush, the old ones were thrown away, also with a comb, I asked to be given. A wonderful hotel in the center of Almaty. With a story. It was in Soviet times the hotel "Kazakhstan", beloved by tourists and business travelers. But after privatization, the hotel underwent a deep reconstruction and now looks inside like a high-level chain western hotel. The interior is made as if this place is connected with the history of cinema. Excellent rooms, furniture, equipment, linen, well-trained staff. On the ground floor there is a rich and varied buffet in the morning. I stayed here twice in 2021 and 2023, and I plan not to change my location on new trips. Although there are several other decent options on the same street. Almaty is a capital city, and the hotel meets the criteria of the renovated Almaty.

I'm stopping for the second time in a year. The hotel is 4 stars in terms of content, service and comfort 3. Among the advantages is the location, a pleasant minimalistic interior without oriental motifs, gold, marble decoration, etc.. I appreciated the presence of coolers on the floor in several places so as not to walk along the corridors. Much better than the water bottles in the rooms, there is hot water and, if desired, you can drink tea. There is an ironing room with 2 boards and irons, there is also a sink and a water jug.One
of the disadvantages: a good breakfast in terms of variety, but there is almost no heating of dishes and, coming to breakfast even at 8, you risk enjoying slightly warm omelets, fried sausages, porridge, etc.. There are no big cups for tea lovers like me. There is a constant problem with napkins, they are in stands on the table, and you need to remember to make sure when looking for a place that they are available, they are not in the public domain. The tables are dirty, the dishes are cleaned after the guests, not in a hurry to clear the table, although there are not very many places, but not crumbs. So everything seems to be there, but a bunch of minor flaws that spoil the mood a little in the morning.
The second point is sound insulation. It's best if you don't have any neighbors behind the wall at all, but this is almost impossible, so if you accidentally wake up in the night, you will listen to roulades of various timbres. But even if you're lucky, and none of the guests nearby snores, the window lets in sound from the road, as if it's not closed.The sounds from the hallway, of course, have not been canceled either, and the bathroom door with an unsuccessful lock, which contributes to the sound background. On my second visit, I was placed in a room for the disabled. It's great that people with increased needs have been taken care of. Some things are still not very thought out: for example, a hair dryer in a string bag from a mirror a person in a stroller is not able to remove himself, a carafe for water, a glass and cups are also on the top shelf of the rack. There is a shower in the bathroom, and a lot of space is left for wheelchair users to wash comfortably, but the partition only partially covers the wet area, and the floor is not heated, which is why immediately after turning off the water it is a little cool and uncomfortable, I don't know how in colder times, I'm afraid, immediately after the shower you need a cozy bathrobe on the floor, which is not in the room. The room itself is very spacious compared to the standard one, I don't need such spaces, but a disabled person will be comfortable. There is also a door to the adjoining room, if there is an attendant. The accommodation service at the entrance did not warn me about the features of the room, which is probably still worth doing when the room differs from the booked one. There is no dissatisfaction that they did not do this, just indicates some inattention to the guests.
Unfortunately, if there are more trips to Almaty, there is no alternative for me, since location is the determining factor.

I liked the hotel.
The room is slightly larger than I've stayed in Ibis hotels in Germany and Russia before. Interesting room design.
The breakfasts are great! A rich selection of vegetables, and fruits too. There is not enough hummus or some other vegetable protein.
The water cooler, as usual in this network, is in the hallway.
There was not enough bedside table or locker to put things away.
The safe is directly above the refrigerator, so it is better not to leave the laptop and other electronics in the safe - it is very warm.
The staff is very friendly. Defects are eliminated instantly. The air conditioner did not work in my room upon check-in, it was quickly repaired while I was away on business.
The hotel is well located. And very much in demand.
