A magnificent 4-star hotel. We lived on the 35th floor with a beautiful view of the city and the river. Lots of skyscraper houses. When evening comes, all these skyscrapers glow. The buffet style breakfasts were varied. The cafe is located on the 50th floor. From 8 to 9, the round table area begins to rotate and during the morning meal you can admire the views of Shanghai from all sides. The stay at this hotel was comfortable in every way

I've stayed in Shanghai a couple of times. In Nanjing and here in Pudong. Pudong is definitely more comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located next to the metro and the coolest embankment. The hotel is big and there are a lot of people, in the morning there is a full restaurant (a lot of locals), the food is good and there is a lot of it, especially European. We took the executive floor with lounges (we also had dinner in the evening). The room on the 37th floor is new, renovated (with an electric toilet), the view is very steep.
The pool is small and knee-deep, you don't have to walk - this is the only disadvantage. The staff is a bit relaxed, but if you tell them, they do.

A modern hotel. Very good breakfasts on the top floor with a wonderful view. English-speaking staff at the reception. Good location. There is a store downstairs, including a grocery store. You can buy everything you need. The windows do not open in the rooms.

Compared to other hotels in this location, it's quite budget friendly.

Among the advantages: good location (the center is close to everything), high building - river view (we had the 45th floor - cool), very cool European breakfasts, English-speaking reception, safe and mini bar in the room, normal room size. The disadvantages are small: the hotel needs to be upgraded a little - the carpet in the rooms is too old (there are stains, and in general the carpet is not the same now), dinners at the hotel below the lower level - do not go.

A very good hotel, you can't call it completely new, but the plumbing has obviously changed recently. The room is clean, the double room itself is very large. The service is unobtrusive, we have never seen service in a week. Famous high-rise buildings are within walking distance, near the metro. The restaurant on the 50th floor was somewhat disappointed, the breakfast is also not super...But there are many small cafes nearby, no one will remain hungry, even small children were brought to breakfast in the morning.

Opposite the hotel is the Bank of China, where you can change your currency to Chinese yuan. Breakfast is not bad for four and takes place on the top 51st floor. The restaurant offers panoramic views of the city. Of the cons: The rooms are already tired and the furniture is a little shabby. At the time of my arrival, the main lobby of the building and the first five floors were renovated. The pool and gym did not work, but the hotel did not mention this when booking a room. We could give a discount for such inconveniences.

As of December 2019. Overall, not bad, standard room filling, good view from the window, good accessibility to the waterfront and the center, a very good selection of Asian and European cuisine for breakfast, a few days a week a Russian girl at the reception, swimming pool and fitness.
Among the shortcomings:
