Worst service ever
I received a gift of AirPods 2nd generation from this store (after reading the reviews on Facebook, I’m already doubting their authenticity). I should mention that I’ve been very careful with the earbuds, and they’ve NEVER been dropped. After just four months of use, issues started with the right earbud; it would only charge with great difficulty from the case. When I went to the store and presented the warranty card, I was told that since the box hadn’t been opened and checked by the employee at the time of purchase, the warranty was void. This is despite the fact that I had specifically asked about it at the time of purchase, and the employee assured me that not opening the box wouldn’t cause any issues later. They offered to repair it for a fee, which I agreed to, and I left my earbuds at the store, providing my phone number.
A few days later, I returned to the store and was told it would be ready within 1 to 10 business days. On the 11th business day, when I hadn’t received a call, I contacted them, only to be informed they had “lost” my number. When I went in to pick up my earbuds, I was told that no repairs had actually been done. I am very curious why I wasn’t informed that no repairs had been made while my earbuds were in their store for nearly 20 days. In short, this store is extremely irresponsible, violating all possible consumer rights, and can’t even manage a basic service contract.
