Well, what can I say. Kilometer zero.
An empty square. Draft.
The Palace of the Republic and a couple of buildings.
That's all, perhaps. Nothing to add.
I saw Kilometer Zero when I was in Minsk covered in snow, no one cleaned it, this spoiled the impression!
The zero kilometer in Minsk is a memorial sign erected on Oktyabrskaya Square of the capital. It is believed that the Zero kilometer is the beginning of the roads of Belarus. Another name for this landmark in Minsk is the Greenwich Meridian of Belarus. This peculiar monument of Minsk was erected in 1998 during the reconstruction of Oktyabrskaya Square.
Interestingly, before that, the Zero kilometer in Minsk was counted from the Main Post Office. The new kilometer zero is located exactly one kilometer from the Main Post Office.
We study the history of cities and Europe in a place!
A mandatory attribute of all capitals. I'm glad that we have one too. I bring all my guests to him. Maybe you should think about its reconstruction and development. There is the same sign in Kiev, but it is decorated more interestingly. There is a lot to strive for...
I recommend it!!!
