A great hotel, cozy, clean, rooms and grounds are cleaned daily, adding drinks to the refrigerator. The staff is polite, helpful, and answers all questions. The food is pleasant. There is not a very large selection of fruits, but they are available: there are always 4 types for breakfast (watermelon, melon and two are changed). There are three types of cuisine: European, Indian and Asian (take Asian, you won't lose, yes, it happens to be a little island, but it tastes the most worthy. Indian is also top, but that's if you like it). Children always have something to feed: oatmeal porridge, scrambled eggs, and eggs for breakfast. For lunch there are pasta, potatoes, meat, vegetables, ice cream for dessert. Juices are not their strong suit, but delicious iced tea, fruit punch. Excellent coffee filter. The wine, by the way, is not quite lousy, as it usually happens. Our house had a beautiful beach, we swam all day in a mask at home. If your feet are very sensitive, take swimming slippers with you, it was fine for us anyway. There are excursions, boat trips. I probably won't recommend desserts in a cafe, the coffee is good, but the desserts are always stale, although they look good, or please specify so that everything is fresh. Spf there is a space on the island, take it with you with a reserve and do not go outside without it)
Book dinner at the underwater restaurant and admire the fish. Have you seen small sharks
Cocktails in the bar are not perfect, if you understand, ask them to make it with alcohol, which you show them yourself, then it will be ok. Plastic glasses for both wine and bar. This is a minus.
A very beautiful hotel, a beautiful island, everything is clean and well maintained. It takes 20-25 minutes to sail from Male Airport.
We had a beach villa and we did not regret that we took it, and not the houses on the water, because when there were waves, I think you can go crazy in a water villa.
There is both local and European food, quite a variety of dishes, but a lot of spicy Indian dishes, be careful. And also be careful with the sun, it's superactive there. Take a large spf, caps, tunics, otherwise you risk getting fried like piglets).
Fortunately, the room has both a fan and air conditioning, so that during daytime hours you can comfortably rest in the room or on the veranda of the villa.
There are some water activities, evening animation, a cocktail bar and a shared beach with umbrellas and a trampoline and slides.
I recommend the place 🫰🏻
Very nice hotel, everything is clean, tidy, fairly recent renovation. For these places, there is a variety of food and animation at a good level. The staff is very polite and pleasant. A place where you can reboot and get a lot of impressions
A normal hotel, still new. This is the third time here, there are no negative aspects. We used to go to Fihalhohi because of the fish (snorkeling is very good there), but they are already tired😊
Addendum. Gentlemen tourists, check your dollars. For some reason, this hotel began accepting banknotes with a series from 2013. I was rejected by my 2009 "junk", although the new banknotes are blue.
They corrected themselves and began accepting banknotes of 2009.
We are currently staying at this hotel. We have something to compare it with, but the food here is disgusting! You will not see any fruits or juices (diluted 10 times from the package), the food is terrible, there is nothing to buy even for money, there is not even a shelf cocktail! There is no seafood either, just spicy Indian food. We are absolutely terrified! Everything is of poor quality, there is no marine entertainment, it is painfully boring. Even paper napkins For 4 rooms cost 800 thousand for all inclusive! The background music turns on only at 17 o'clock. There are no types, there is no limit to disappointment
A gorgeous hotel. 15 minutes from the airport by boat. There is a lot of food, but mostly everything is spicy, fatty. Lots of drinks. An air-conditioned room with access to the water, Villa beach is recommended for those with children, and a dining room and a kids' club, and the beach are all nearby. A kids club, like a kindergarten, several air-conditioned rooms, a swimming pool, food and drink. You can leave the children there with the tutors. I do not recommend buying something in the store on the island of the hotel, you need to add + 26% to the price. Cheaper in Duty free
I want to write the most useful review, exactly about what I lacked in the reviews that I read. There is no goal to write a bad review, but since I was in the Maldives for the second time, there will be a comparison in the review. And if I had read my review when choosing, I would not have chosen this hotel.
For the first time in the Maldives, I was at the Villa Park-Sun Island 5* hotel, yes, it's 5*, but since 5 is 5-ke apart, it is considered one of the most affordable and they are identical in price. There may be a difference in price due to the road. To Villa Park-Sun Island 5* you need to fly from Male by domestic airlines, then 20 minutes by boat, and to
Oblu XPErience Ailafushi 15 min. by boat.
Meeting at the airport. Immediately minus. At the airport, the hotel staff gathers all the guests in one place and tells everyone to download the hotel app and register themselves! That is, not in the hotel lobby, with air conditioning, but in a stuffy airport! Of course they are trying to help everyone, but this is idiocy. The wifi is falling off... in general, it's a minus right away.
1. Maldivian picture (Bounty). She's not here. For understanding, I will attach a photo from the first hotel and a photo from our island. I don't know how to explain it, but this island is bulk, probably sand was poured on a hard coral bottom))))) I.e. on the beach the soft sandy bottom is closer to the ocean and in the water already.
The whole island is surrounded by breakwaters made of black stones. They are more open at low tide. There is no open ocean. Probably, everything is like that near Male, when sailing on a boat, there were islands with breakwaters.
There is a picturesque breakwater in only one place – on the main beach near the pool, where a second island with a more expensive hotel is opposite.
2. The room. We had a beach villa. Everything is as in the photo, the bathroom is beautiful.
There were three of us, and we lacked a dryer, it was in the form of a wooden staircase that could be carried out onto the porch.
There are no disposable slippers and bathrobes. But there are slates. There were three of us adults, and there were 3 pairs of children's slates (35-36p).
A minibar. We had enough of everything, but just for information, it was all for two, not three.
Cleaning. She was always with us. That is, they didn't try to get out while we were gone. As soon as we returned from lunch, it's hot, we're in an air-conditioned room and there's a cleaning service))). There were no complaints about the cleaning itself.
The 3rd bed is a folding sofa, comfortable. But instead of a blanket, a blanket was tucked into the duvet cover, which did not fit there well. It's like we're visiting someone's cottage))) This is not acceptable, in my opinion.
The most interesting thing. It's light at night))) There is a light next to the door to the bathroom/toilet, downstairs, which is not turned on by you and which cannot be turned off! We called an employee, he covered him with a pillow))) The air conditioner display is also shining very brightly! I'll attach a photo.
There is no ironing board and iron in the room, but I saw them being carried to someone, probably you can ask.
3. Wifi. If you start a conversation on the phone in the villa and go to a restaurant, or go to the water, the conversation will be interrupted.
4. Everyone speaks only English. By comparison: in the first hotel it was the same, but there was a manager attached to each guest, who entered his number into the guest's phone and via WhatsApp you could ask any question and solve any problem in Russian. Russian Russian guests were also given a printout in Russian with all the information that the guests might need. Here, in fluent English, they told everything very quickly, few people understood anything.
5. Food and drinks. There are no complaints about food and drinks. Beer, cola, sprite, schweppes, fanta – all in w / cans. Comfortable. Drink as much as you want at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beer is good.
The rest is bad. Namely, we had cocktails at the pool bar a couple of times. Bad cocktails in plastic glasses, which, I think, are quickly washed. My husband vomited after one such cocktail. They pour something out of a canister, perhaps syrup, i.e. like in the Turkish 4th, which I have never been in, but it seems so to me)))
But there is a wine shop where you can buy good champagne (prosecco only) and wine for about $ 20 per bottle. Pringles is also being sold at a normal price today. However, plus the tax, I don't remember which one…
6. Entertainment. We didn't do water sports, the sun is evil after all)))
We didn't go to the evening program, but our room was nearby, and we heard. The guys performing are super, the music is incendiary, they sing well.
7. Garbage. This is the most painful thing. It lies on the breakwaters, it is brought by the waves and no one removes it. Bottles float in the ocean and no one cleans them either. There are not so many of them that you can't cope with it, the same thing floats and lies, it gets 1 bottle more every day.
For example, some tourists leave beach towels on sun loungers that are pushed outside the villa, closer to the water and they are also not cleaned (towels). Some tourists for some reason pulled umbrellas to the beach, left them and they were not removed even after a day, they were riding along the shore!
Why do I write mostly about cons? Because the Maldives is not cheap and not everyone can afford to fly there often. "This is the Maldives! Everything else is not important!" Important! Because you pay for it and there is a choice, and so I did not have enough information that I learned from all the reviews!
The color of the ocean, the greenery – it's wonderful!
And the fact that the hotel is new, which I bought into mostly, it turned out to be not a plus in this case. The palm trees are not tall and there is little shade on the island. You burn up in a minute.
We saw a large and small stingray, beautiful almost transparent fish swim, we saw a moray eel on a breakwater, a heron. We had a good rest, but every time you try to choose the best of what you have according to your capabilities. Take the coral slippers!
We carelessly stopped by for a few days out of fear that a seaplane transfer from an island far from Male might not make it to the morning Aeroflot flight.
In vain. It's very dirty. Dirt is everywhere. On the ground and in the water. And even a welcome drink in dirty glasses. Dirt, perhaps, is the content and style of this hotel.
Cleaners looking in the windows…
The quality of alcohol is below the baseboard.
The food is mainly designed for the predominant Indians among vacationers.
We were looking forward to leaving.
I don't recommend it to anyone.
Great hotel! Delicious food, top-level service! We will definitely come back again.

A great hotel! We had a water villa and it was the best solution! There were no waves there! The morning started with a dip in the water, and in the evening it was amazing, sitting on the steps to catch Zen and watch the sea inhabitants. There were no strong tides. After this hotel, we went to other hotels, there were tides such that the water went ankle-deep and it was ugly! And here: water villa is the best solution!
I recommend this hotel to explore the Maldives 👍
Rest on Male at the end of September. The weather is mostly cloudy. The hotel was booked on booking, paid for by link.
I'll start with a meeting at the airport. We arrived at 8 a.m. by Aeroflot. We left the baggage screening area, we were met with a hotel sign, escorted to the boat and forward to the hotel.
Transfer:
By boat 15 min to the island.
Accommodation at the hotel:
We were placed right away, without waiting for 14.00.
We got the most successful villa by the water in my opinion. Since they are located on the side of the bay. Villa number 424 . 417-431 rooms are also a good location. The water at the villa is calm, there are no waves, the descent is uniform, the wind does not blow, unlike other accommodation options. There are corals, although they are cleaned every day (you need to take coral slippers), there are no algae, the water is clean.
There is one double bed in the villa (it is cramped to sleep with a child). And two children's beds.
Cleaning every day in the morning.
They asked to remove the food, as ants come.
The staff is very accommodating, everyone is friendly, especially towards the child!!!
Activiti:
There is a lot of activiti on the island:
Snurkling;
Diving;
Kayaki;
Sapboards;
Volleyball;
Trampoline on the water;
Inflatable slide;
Slide into the ocean;
Parachuting;
Glass-bottomed boat;
Jet skis;
Spa treatments;
Football and tennis field;
Two swimming pools (for children and adults);
Gym;
Transfer from the airport - boat 15 minutes. We waited an hour. We were very hospitable at the hotel :) The suitcases were brought to the room,
they didn't even take it in their hands)) buggies are constantly cruising around the hotel, it is convenient at lunch, when it is very hot to get there with a breeze.
We were set up for a quiet holiday with children - we succeeded because we were lucky to be accommodated in this hotel. Family rooms (and we had it) are located on three sides of the island, the best beach, on the shore of which there are 2-storey villas located in the west, opposite the restaurant, which is underwater and the bridge to the island with the hotel oblu select. Floors 1, of course, are better - you came out from the veranda and you are at your beds opposite the sea, but if you are lucky, first, of course, they give you the second floor, but we went to a meeting with a stroller and changed it to the first.
The beach is very beautiful, not deep, but there are coral fragments at the entrance and stones at the bottom, so coral slippers are mandatory. Every day, the hotel staff diligently cleans the corals, but it washes up again very quickly. There is another beach with a children's slide near the pool, next to the reception and bar, there is music and sun beds in several rows, and the smell of chlorine from the pool and the entrance is better, but noisy and party-like, this is not a minus, just the taste and color. There are no more normal beaches... rocks, puddles and coral fragments.
Food for every taste: the restaurant has three "tables" of Indian, Asian and European cuisine.
Sometimes it was very tasty, sometimes not very good, but the hungry never stayed.
The territory is very beautiful, the vegetation is not very lush, since the hotel is still new, for me - this is a plus - there were no mosquitoes.
The staff is very friendly, friendly, ready to help, all issues were resolved quickly and with a smile. There are no Russian speakers.
There is a nice kids club, but we haven't been there. There is a doctor!!!! The child was unlucky enough to break his lip, the doctor provided the necessary help, gave medicines, and was pleasantly surprised that they did not take money for it... (maybe later... until they left)))
What was missing:
- there is no home reef, you can see fish near the rocks, you even saw stingrays, but not here for active snorling
- there are few fruits and vegetables or they are very "aldente", a lot of spicy food, the children's table is about nothing ... a child of 2, 5 years old constantly ate only pasta and sometimes chicken when it was not spicy. I'm taking food with me for small children.
Very huge pillows, both small and large, (again for taste and color)by the end of the vacation, my back hurt...
in general, it's very, very good if the accommodation is to your liking. Are you happy with your vacation :)
