Ararat is a symbol of Armenia. He has been this symbol for a long time and will remain so. The whole of Yerevan is visible from this observation deck. It can be seen that this is a very beautiful city. And Ararat is floating above all this splendor. How can a mountain float? The mountain can't. Ararat can. It's a great place to feel and understand this. The place is gentrified and civilized. A beautiful stone staircase leads to the height. But for those who don't have much strength, there is a series of escalators.
I will attribute the incompleteness to the disadvantages. The uppermost cascade is unfinished and (it seems) abandoned. It is enclosed by a fence and bypassed by flooring. It's not so beautiful to look from there, because first there is an abandoned construction site, and only then there is a beautiful descent, Yerevan and Ararat. I advise you not to go up there, but to stop at the last section made
Personally, I saw the Zoroastrian ziggurat in this, but little did Ararat have an effect. A very beautiful, harmonious building. And back and forth to go up and down, a good physical workout. The view from there is amazing when Ararat is visible
There is a beautiful view of the city from above, if it is difficult for someone to climb on foot, there is an escalator, we found out in the middle of the way. The impression is spoiled by protruding pile fittings from some unfinished building in front of the observation deck and a terrible pigsty under the platform, where urine stinks and a pile of garbage. The infrastructure is lame, there are no stalls with ice cream or cold drinks, especially there is no toilet. So it's better to stock up on this in advance.
The Cascade is one of the main attractions of Yerevan. There is a sculpture by architect Tamanyan at its base. The construction has not been completed yet for various reasons (there is no penultimate tier), everything else has its own flavor. The cascade consists of many steps going up the mountain, flowerbeds with greenery and flowers create a feeling of the structure fitting into the mountain landscape. At the foot and on each floor there are avant-garde sculptural compositions, fountains in the form of bottles with pouring wine, small pools with water. In the heat, it is better to ride part of the cascade on an escalator (on the left side of the structure), where avant-garde objects are also presented. It is better to approach the highest point (it is also completed) from above from the side of the road. It seems that there is also a small passage from the unfinished level on the left side, but we did not dare to go there. It will take a lot of strength to climb, but it's worth it) The overview of Yerevan is good, there is something to see. It is interesting for both adults and children. It is better to take water with you. There are cafes downstairs, there are benches (but there are not enough for everyone). There is a public transport stop nearby, a toilet further through the park (only coins of a certain denomination can be paid for), a double-decker tour bus (runs according to schedule). It will be difficult to park your car, there is a lot of traffic and there is not much space. If you stand facing the Cascade, then there is a grocery store on the left corner.
I recommend all tourists to climb to the very top of the Cascade, from the height of the observation deck you will see a unique view of Yerevan, and no matter what time of day or what season, you will get untold pleasure. There are several more sites on the way, where you can sit, relax, and admire art objects. For people who are not physically prepared, it is not worth going up into the heat. If it's hard for you to walk until 20.00, you can take the elevator, you can ask, they will tell you inside. The best time is, of course, the evening, just as you start to climb behind the light, and at the last landing it will be dark and then you will gradually watch Yerevan sink into the night. You will see Ararat in all its glory. And of course the night lights of Yerevan. You can describe a lot, but it's better to see it once.
The ideal place to start exploring the city, the whole of Yerevan, as in the palm of your hand you can see the opera house, museum and other attractions, and of course Ararat is visible. And Victory Park is also very close by
Beautiful view, Ararat is incomparable. There's a museum inside, but I haven't visited it. It is a pity that the upper part of the cascade is not completed.
A picturesque place is worth a visit and those who do not want to walk with their feet inside there is an escalator so everyone can see such beauty without exception
A pleasant place to spend the evening, when the sun sets, you can watch the sunset or enjoy the cool, after a stuffy day. You will get a view of the city in all its glory :)
An atmospheric place. Especially in clear weather. You can take great photos. At the foot there are many different cafes for every taste. Parking is difficult, it's better to leave the car 2-3 blocks away.
There is a view of the whole city and especially of Mount Ararat. Due to the clouds, the mountain could not be seen in all its glory, but the view is still gorgeous
I love the observation deck of the Cascade! The whole city is at a glance. The complex itself with the museum is also quite interesting
You can take the escalator if you don't want to torture your legs))
Unfortunately, the Cascade is not fully completed, for this I remove the star. It would be completed, it would be possible to climb even higher))
From the site you can see the whole city, the view is gorgeous, but for some reason there is not enough span on the rise, you have to go around. I hope it will be restored soon
I expected more, because the heat, the height, the higher you go up the cascade, the less greenery, and at the very top Stella has a complete mess: piles of garbage and a smell like in a public toilet. But the view from above of Yerevan and Ararat is magnificent.
One of the most successful places in the city, where you can see the whole city center and, if you're lucky, then Ararat. I love coming here at sunset and just enjoying the shimmer of the sky. I highly recommend you to visit!
The beauty is indescribable. Sunsets and sunrises are visible from here. The sun sets and rises again. The whole city is on fire at night. A good flashback point.
Due to a certain shortage of normal attractions in Yerevan, this observation deck on the Cascade looks like an acceptable place to explore the city and relax.
A landmark place in the city, a must-visit, preferably in clear weather to enjoy the view of Mount Ararat

If you want to stretch, go to the cascade. View of Ararat , photos provided. I wanted to take the elevator, but the elevator was closed. This is a fiasco for people who would rise, but due to circumstances, they cannot rise themselves. So they were robbed of their dreams🤷♀️
Many years of unfinished construction. It's a cool idea. Huge construction. Beautiful and grandiose. After all, a person can do a lot if they have a lot of money and a cool dream.
From a distance, the view is beautiful on the observation deck. But up close it became clear that this location needed reconstruction. There is dirt and ruin on the sides
Be sure to visit this place. Preferably in the morning and evening. The photos will be amazing! It is a little sad that it is not possible to complete this site yet.
I quite like to walk here day and night. It's just a pity that only Armenians stick around and get acquainted, it only spoils the mood and prevents you from enjoying the beautiful views
