At the end of the road to Golgotha, there is a huge 18-meter cross installed by the Italians to replace the old wooden thirty-meter cross, which today is the most popular observation deck of the island of Rhodes and anyone can climb it.
From here you will not only see the entire reserve, but also the neighboring towns of Ialyssos and Ixia, Ialyssos Bay, the eastern tip of Cape Zonari Island and the island's two airports, civilian and military. It is here that you can observe the rarest sight for a human being — a flying plane from above, since it overcomes several seconds of flight during landing below the observer's level on the observation deck of the cross.
