The site is being actively repaired. I highly recommend walking around the neighborhood. There are many interesting old buildings. There is something to photograph and get aesthetic pleasure from the old architecture.

I've searched everything...all the abandoned sites...everything is overgrown with tall trees, so little is visible...I ate blackberries...Bamboo grows, there are many birds in the general wild forest and nature...there are many sites only from the lower one, which is currently being repaired, you can look at the city from above...the road is very difficult to the very top (climbed higher than the base of the TV tower)...there is an abandoned large gazebo with a dome at the very top...

as a matter of fact, the observation deck is weak, because it is overgrown with tall trees and not much can be seen in the end - a small sector of the city and the sea, located on Sukhumi Mountain, walking is still a fitness, a lot of mosquitoes in the evening, a lot of overgrown paths that have not been put in order since the Soviet period in my opinion

It was a beautiful place in Soviet times! It is a pity that they did not support it: everything is collapsing, there is dirt all around, a lot of garbage. There is a separate pain with garbage: it would be possible to clean everything there in 1 day on a clean-up day, but no one cares. There are a lot of napkins, wrappers, bottles lying around. It's just a dump! But they take you on an excursion here for money. In general, only the crumbling steps, railings and gazebos remind of the former splendor. It is difficult to observe any views of the city: everything is overgrown with bushes, trees, and creepers.

It's a cool platform, in the sense that if you imagine everything when everything was new and clean, then the Abkhazians were really lucky at that time. There are beautiful and long stairs and paths among the trees between these stairs and at the very top on the mountain there is a round observation deck with a roof and columns. There was also a spring with three streams for drinking, a little reminiscent of the Greek or village-Roman style. It's a pity that all this is abandoned.

There is a magnificent view of Sukhum and the sea. If you are in Sukhumi, be sure to visit the observation deck and Sukhumi mountain itself. There, at the very top, there are remnants of a park that existed before the invasion of Abkhazia by Georgian troops (1992-1993). I recommend a walk there, IT's VERY beautiful. At the end of the alley there is a memorial monument to the heroes of Abkhazia who gave their lives for the liberation and independence of the republic.
