There are beautiful views of the coast. There is a swing and a spinning heart. Enterprising young Abkhazian people immediately offer to pay for the opportunity to ride a swing and a spinning heart, although there is no information about the paid service anywhere. Don't be fooled by them. Immediately, seeing the stopped transport, the ubiquitous local photographer will jump up to you, who for a small sum will promise you the best views and photos for memory. If you are not completely satisfied with the views on this site, then you have a chance to spend an hour climbing by car and an hour or two walking uphill to find yourself on top of Mount Mamzyshkha, see the so-called alpine meadows and admire the mountains in the snow. The beauty is indescribable, you just need to dress properly and put on shoes, take a drink and a snack with you.
It's a pretty place, but the trees have grown and you can't see much. There was no purpose to go here, we just picked berries in the forest and decided to stop by🤷🏻♀️
Everything is overgrown, there is no view to be seen. Wet wipes and other debris are wrapped around the branches.
Do not take excursions to the bureau next to the water park in Gagra. We agreed with the manager on an individual excursion that we would climb the peak of Mount Mamzyshkha 1840m, that we would have time to walk through the Alpine meadows there, go to the shepherds' booth, buy real homemade goat cheese. We have clarified the program several times, what we need. We agreed on the price. The driver at the UAZ, Beslan, first confirmed the route, then when we drove off, said that the whole tour was 2 observation decks. I said again about the carnival and the platform with the flag. To which he answers "yes" and eventually takes us only to the paragliding launch site, claiming that these are Alpine meadows. This is a lawn, not meadows! When leaving, we saw that two pensioners drove there in a Kia. And the "brave horseman" turned back on the all-passable UAZ, telling us how beautiful it is at the peak, where he will not take us.
Disappointed.
We continue the series of reviews about the sights of Gagra. And like everywhere else, it's a sad sight. The views are gorgeous. But refine the sticky petals, Make them beautiful. There's no place to take pictures where everything is old and rusty. They offer a photo on a swing over the "abyss" of ahaha. They're all rusty and scary.
Great view, great place.
but there is no owner, free travel, and I will not go a very dangerous route a second time, there are huge boulders on the roads, Abkhazians drive jeeps on the oncoming lane, as if they are under drugs, it is very very dangerous to get there.
It's amazing, Gagra is in the palm of your hand) The clouds are lower than you in level, but you need to go to this observation deck in clear weather, otherwise there will not be a complete picture)
The place is interesting, but unfortunately when we arrived there, everything was in the clouds and the landscape below was not accessible. What can not be said about the site that is below. There's a cool view of Gagra. It's a pity that the swing on the cliff was broken. And it's been a long time.
Higher up the mountain. There are also interesting places. By the way, you can jump off on a paraglider. It seems to cost 4500₽ (this is the first half of July 2022)
In general, if you go to this site specifically and only then I think you should not waste time
A good playground! You can take pictures! When it's cloudy, it's hard to see. The view is beautiful in good weather. They offer photos for money. They say that they built the heart with their own hands!
The trouble with many viewing platforms, including Russian ones, is thickets of bushes and trees, because of which there is either little or practically nothing to see. This one is from the category of such.
It's very beautiful, but you can drive, be sure to look at the navigator (we were driving on Yandex maps) the mark of this observation deck. We drove on a low volga, the road is not very good in places, but we drove everywhere!
A gorgeous place! The road is not very good, but you can get there without any problems. You can see the entire coast to Mount Athos and beyond. But the cloud cover was low. There is an even higher point from where the paroplaners fly.
There is a great view from the observation deck in sunny weather. It is better to drive in the morning. But the road to it is all broken up. The price of the tour is not worth the money that greedy Abkhazians ask for. I was there in my car.
A gorgeous place, worth the time spent on the rise. You climb up the road through the clouds, the sensations are very unusual, the view from above is just as impressive, the city, nature, the Abkhazian mountains and the sea sea sea.
The upper area is heavily overgrown - it is necessary to thin out the thickets and the view will be awesome.
The asphalt, although bad, allows you to drive any car!
A gorgeous spot for viewing local beauties.
But be on the lookout at the lower observation deck, there is a large parking lot and they often look after the safety inside the cars.
The view is just great! It's a long drive, the road is bad, but picturesque and interesting. Don't be lazy, get there. In good weather, you can see everything up to Pitsunda!
Almost nothing is visible because of the vegetation. It's a long drive. But it's worth it, because there are a couple of places with amazing views along the way.
It's a beautiful view, but the trees cover part of the View and Cyril is covered with various inscriptions, as well as various ribbons, masks and napkins are tied on the trees and railings
The trees interfere with the view, even though the playground is high, there were no clouds in the evening, the road is bad and long, we reached the lacetti wagon without problems. To go just for the sake of a tick, there are no special impressions left.
