There is a 350-meter Almaty television Tower on the Kok-Tobe Mountain. If you count from sea level, then this is the highest tower in the world.
There are also several viewing platforms on the mountain, which offer a magnificent panorama of the city and the northern ridge of the Tien Shan.
In the evening, you can watch the sunset from the veranda of the Abay restaurant. Very beautiful.
