I have been familiar with the hostel for more than 20 years, starting from the 10th grade, when we went to the regional Olympiad and lived here. Yes, it is true that there are toilets in the hallway and 1 shower in the entire dormitory, the kitchen is only on the 3rd floor. But such are the structural features of the building, there's nothing you can do about it. You can only make more or less decent repairs, but, as usual, you need a lot of money for this. Nevertheless, there have never been any problems with taking a shower, although yes, sometimes you need to wait. They offer extra blankets if it's cold. You can borrow a kettle from the staff, there is a microwave in the recreation room on the 1st floor, and there is a refrigerator on each floor in the hallway. That is, the usual household minimum is there. And the price, you know, also matches. At the moment, this is about 8 rubles a day, slightly less than 41 rubles for 5 days of stay. Compared to the hotel prices, it's for free. So for me, a solid 4 can be set (because there is always something to strive for). From the recommendations: take additional hangers with you if you take clothes that need to be hung on hangers (there are only 1 piece per person). Warm clothes in the room won't hurt. Well, your kettle (or at least a boiler) will just make life easier. There will be no need to run to the kitchen. There are also 2 sockets for 3 people in the room. So either charge the phones one at a time, or it will be more convenient to take a charger for many devices.

I was accompanied by children for a week. The conditions, of course, leave much to be desired. There is one kitchen per floor (and not for every one), a toilet at the end of the corridor, a shower on the 1st floor (shared, 3 cabins). The rooms are designed for 3 people, there are bedside tables, a wardrobe, a table. But there are wonderful people working there. They are responsive, polite, and try to make your stay there better. You can contact them with any problem or request.

the conditions are not very good, to put it mildly: there is no repair, the wallpaper is Soviet, the toilets are generally something. But there are already 2 refrigerators on the entire floor, there is a kitchen on each floor, there are electric stoves, enameled kettles and pots. There is nowhere to heat the food, we go with plates / containers to the first floor and ask the janitor for permission to use the microwave. The only advantage: normal beds, clean bed linen, towels.

The area is quiet and beautiful, there are many public transport stops nearby. The rooms are standard: beds, table, wardrobe, bedside tables. The only drawback is one shower room on the ground floor for the entire dormitory. The staff is pleasant, they tell and show everything.

I was on courses in Vitebsk, I lived in this hostel, there is no shower on the 3rd floor, there is a bathroom on the second floor and sometimes there is a malfunction with hot water, a small repair has been done in the rooms there is a closet, a table, chairs, if you want to cook something, you can ask for a pot and cook in the kitchen!!!! Not a 5 star hotel, but nevertheless it is fine for a short stay!!!! The staff is polite!!!

The hostel is beautiful both outside and inside. The staff is a fire. The apartments are at the highest level. I am glad that designers and planners have thought about the spiritual development of the guests. And instead of televisions, which would only contribute to degradation, paintings by great artists were hung on the floors. I really liked the trick: slam the door properly so that it closes. An indisputable plus can be considered a lonely room on the fourth floor, filled with an aura of sadness. It is in this room that you can be alone with your thoughts and make a definite decision. Well, or just arrange an unforgettable party with friends there. The only downside so far is that the carpet on the third floor is much more useful than the sports corner on the second. And, of course, the miracle refrigerator, from which food periodically disappears, gives this hostel a certain mystery. But that's a completely different story... in general, everything is very cool.
