Near the port of Limanaki, it is worth visiting one of the restaurants of the South African Ocean Basket chain (located next to the Okeanos Beach 3* hotel).
This is one of the most beloved and visited restaurants, both among tourists and locals.
There is fast and high-quality service, affordable prices, and most importantly, fresh fish and seafood - squid, octopus, shrimp, mussels, cooked according to original recipes.

There are queues at the entrance in the evenings. It is not possible to book in advance. The food is quite tasty. But octopus can be found tastier in family restaurants in Paphos, for example. Sushi is ordinary, not wow. Therefore, I would recommend Mussels, squid. Served with French fries. The dish is large. Delicious sauce. Very. While you wait, bread and spread will be brought. Delicious wine. Both homemade and bottled. Try white Petridis and homemade Rose. The service is fast. The place is located on the waterfront. Pleasant.

I want to dispel the myth about this restaurant.
The 1st time we visited this restaurant, the opinion was twofold. Since the food is delicious, but the service is just terrible, the waiter's unhappy faces, and the unwillingness to approach after the order is made.
For the 2nd time in 2 years, we decided to visit this institution (there is no other way to call this place), we thought they would improve, but alas. This time it was even worse.
At first, we were seated at a small table, although there are 3 of us. We laid a paper tablecloth (it seems to me that this is unacceptable for a restaurant of this level), the order was accepted only after we ourselves came up and asked to accept the order. We ordered drinks, oysters, salads, squid and shrimp, I repeat there were three of us, they brought everything at once, and it's clear that everything didn't fit and the dishes were piled high. When asked to bring napkins, they did not react immediately either, waved their heads and safely forgot, the same situation with the ashtray.
Next is the food. Half of the dishes are delicious, I can't say anything, but the squid was just disgusting - poorly cleaned, bitter. At the request to change, a new portion was brought almost immediately, but the taste is the same. At the same time, the plate with the previous squid was not taken away.
After the mountain of dishes accumulated on our table, the waiters went and saw everything, but did not clean it up.
Then they asked for the bill. They brought us a terminal where there was a question of leaving a tip or not, for me it's a mess, after such service. After I clicked "no tip", the check was practically thrown in my face and the waitress left with a dissatisfied look.

I opened this restaurant for myself in Limassol and when we moved to Ayia Napa, of course, we did not pass by. Everything is very thought out: in the evening there is a queue to get to the restaurant, there is a waiting area for this. Everything is very tasty: mussels, shrimp, fish, soup. I really liked the sauce. I tried oysters for the first time. The service is also appropriate, the prices are adequate. I recommend it.

All the dishes that we managed to try are very tasty 😋😋😋 Shrimp, squid, octopus, fish....You'll lick your fingers. In terms of price-quality ratio, no alternatives were found in Ayia Napa. Yes, it's not a restaurant, it looks more like a food court cafe. But you forget about this as soon as you start tasting the dishes. The only disadvantage is that the children's menu is also fishy, our child does not eat fish. We ate French fries from adult dishes + ice cream. I recommend you to visit, you will not regret it

A great place, in the evenings a huge number of people (... walked from their hotel for 15-20 minutes. when we came up, we saw a huge queue, we decided, since we had already passed so much, not to look for another place, to stay here. You need to approach the administrator and sign up, then the administrator calls by name all those waiting on the street, you can sit on a bench. In our memory, it was the longest waiting in line at the cafe - a whole hour. They cook relatively quickly despite the number of people. Take a plate for 2-4 people. The shrimp salad will not like it, the child took fish cutlets, too, not very much.

Russian Russian was spoken there only by the waiter and that was not very good, at the entrance the waitresses do not know Russian at all. We tried several times to explain that we'd rather wait for a good place, we said you weren't enough, they wouldn't give you a better place. I don't think it's very good to enjoy food at the toilet, even if it's delicious, but we couldn't appreciate the taste and just left. From such disrespect, the mood was spoiled unfortunately (((. I don't know why they praise this place. We came here because of the reviews. we took a seafood soup 5e and a fish meze for two 30e. Tomato fish soup with some kind of fish, without shrimp, squid, etc., absolutely average, as in canteens. I liked the shrimp and mussels in the sauce in the meze. There was also just a fried piece of fish fillet, squid to chew, octopuses in batter, fried in junk, like crackers, side dish rice is usual harsh, fries like fries. The interior of the restaurant is like an improved dining room, there is no comfort. It is unclear why such high marks are given. Let's move on, here only as a last resort.
