A pleasant place, funny, everyone is preparing for the arrival of the liberators. Obviously, they naturally say something else. As soon as they understand that they are not from the shopping center or similar, they begin to tell the truth.
Odessa top, will be back home soon
The new airport terminal has large and spacious rooms! Cozy and clean. The toilets are modern and clean, unlike the old building. The customs and passport control area is at a high level and very spacious; there is a lot of light and air. The departure lounge on the second floor is beyond praise: there are a lot of seats, comfortable; the toilet is clean, all the equipment in it is modern; the ceilings in the hall are high, the windows are large - there is enough light and air for everyone present! Boarding announcements can be heard perfectly from any part of the hall. It is very pleasant to be in the new terminal! I was very pleased! Only positive emotions!!!
The only drawback: in the waiting room on the ground floor there is no screen with the departure schedule (only the arrival schedule), i.e. if you arrived in advance, you can only count on yourself and your watch while in the waiting room (and there are no more seats on the ground floor, not counting the cafe). Bus to the airport from Privoz - route 117. Price - 7 UAH.
It's a good airport. It will be accepting flights from Moscow soon))

I flew on 11/30/2011 Istanbul-Odessa in transit to Moldova with a Russian passport. I was met by polite, competent staff, helped to establish a home, passed the control very quickly, and suggested how to get to the train station. Great, everything is international!! Thank you all and good health!!!!
The airport is not big, but relatively New! The biggest drawback is that there is no public transport to it, so only a taxi. It is better to order a taxi earlier through the app, otherwise you will pay 2 prices. Have a nice flight, everyone!
A normal airport. Arrival, departure, everything is standard. The city is not far away, if the flight is delayed, you can return to the hotel. It's like at many small airports.
I've been flying there for many years.
After the opening of the new terminal, it became much more spacious and comfortable.
The staff is friendly and efficient as always, the border is passed quickly, communication with border guards is businesslike, polite, without delay.
Luggage is delivered fairly quickly, and (as I have seen many times) it is loaded carefully, not thrown.
I am very pleased with the internal "schedule" and the device of the port!
It is fenced exactly where it is needed, the flows of people are always distributed according to the number of passengers and flights.
The toilets are completely clean! With toilet paper and even liquid soap! (which is not always observed even in Sheremetyevo)..
There are many waiting areas (which, for example, do not exist in Zhukovsky at all before the sterile zone), the only thing that upsets is that they are metal - it's cool to sit, and it's hard.
I also give 4 stars and not 5 because of the terrible take-off!
This is not a runway, but (sorry) The washing board!
Those who land in Odessa for the first time are quite nervous, because it becomes clear that such shaking is not normal, children are crying ..
Otherwise, a very good, small, but cozy airport.
An excellent airport ( new building) is a completely modern design in the process of commissioning and filling with the necessary props for passengers.
Passengers expect a sufficient amount of public transport to appear, while there is only an excellent area with convenient access communications.
There is also an obvious need to build a hotel complex nearby to accommodate passengers in case of flight cancellations, as well as a parking lot for storing personal cars.
Today, tourist complexes in Arcadia, on the other side of the city, are used for these purposes
, it is far away, but the comfort is quite 5 stars.
Thank you Odessans!
A very decent airport, starting with the name, ending with the toilets, is not as huge as Moscow's, but this does not prevent it from being cozy and having its own Odessa charm!
The new building looks beautiful. It is made in the form of a wave.
Before covid, they were inside, small, compact.
They are not allowed inside the covid now.
The greeters are waiting outside.
the new airport building is normal, more or less good service, but the airport is normally as far as the moon. Prices, well, this is the trouble with all airports.
The arrival area is a quiet horror - both in service and organization.
We need a tough management hand, but in fact we get everything as always.
It's a pity, the city deserves better, because the Airport is the face of the city and how you are greeted there, half the impression for the future is formed.
I'm putting a 4 because of respect for this city. Odessa is not the same as it was 10 years ago. The new airport building is more or less, but there are still a lot of disadvantages. Wi-Fi was not working on arrival. We had to tinker at customs, despite the fact that the couple had a Ukrainian passport and were traveling in transit. A very arrogant taxi driver got caught from the airport to the place.

The airport is quite convenient and good. Free toilets with liquid soap and paper towels are available. There is a lonely point of packing suitcases, however, without the possibility to put on a sticker. The Dutik is generally not bad, but the prices are strangely written in euros, and at the checkout they ask you for hryvnia....

It is not clear which doors to go to for those who fly away, from where those who arrive will come out. There are no signs outside. Public transport does not go to the airport anymore. You can only get there by taxi. Naturally, all taxi services know about this and raise prices. There are fans among the airport staff who pretend that they do not know Russian. The new terminal has been operating for at least three years, and the revolving doors still do not work.
There is free Wi-Fi and water in coolers.
I really liked the new terminal of Odessa International Airport. Everything is like in Europe - a beautiful building, a new luggage compartment, spacious waiting rooms. I hope that the service will be appropriate.
surprisingly cool airport building, fast and good service. All this concerns the departure zone. The arrival area is terrible. both in terms of service and organization.
The airport has two buildings. Passengers get into the new one upon arrival, they fly out of the old one. Fog happens at night, which is why planes do not land in Odessa and return to the departure airport. The old building has a very simple Duty-free and a small cafe. The feeling is slightly improved due to the friendliness of the staff. Of the entire flight, a couple of passengers from Russia (transit through Minsk) were detained for several hours in October 2019 for formal verification. There is probably a plan for a spot check.
It is difficult to call it an airport. The place for departure and arrival is faster. However, a new terminal was built, it was put into operation, so far it only works on arrival, but it looks unfinished and empty. The choice in duty free is small. There are no cafes and other buns in the departure area, only near the check-in counters. In general, everything looks sad.
I was in line for customs clearance, I stood for half an hour, the next one was supposed to go, a man in uniform saw my Russian passport and sent me to the end of another queue. Although others did not have a similar problem. I stood for another half hour.
The old part leaves much to be desired in appearance and interior , but otherwise everything works fine! And another huge disadvantage is the staff who ships the luggage!!!! This is of course a complete trash!!! Not every suitcase can handle this!!!
Departure from Odessa from the old airport, and arrival at the new one. The old airport is small, stuffy, and the air conditioners can't handle it. 92g coffee and 75g ice cream are expensive. The toilets are old and battered. But there was a good promotion in duty free: 30% discount when buying from 3 products, even those on the promotion. You can spend extra hryvnia.
The airport is ordinary, not big. A very expensive taxi, arrogant taxi drivers who expect that a foreigner will pay them 1000 hryvnia for a distance for which they charge 120 hryvnia! The Wi-Fi is not working.
We met Russian citizens very politely
Not what kind of mistake
Everything that is said on TV in Russia is all lies
People are being bullied at the airport in Moscow
Ukraine-Odessa thank you very much for the hospitality and for the courtesy
Low bow from the citizens of Russia

It is difficult to say now, since the old airport is catastrophically old and small, and the new terminal is open only on arrival. I hope everything will be fixed soon and the flight will also be carried out in the new building.
The airport building seems to be new. But, the quality of the repair is something I haven't seen for a long time. And the runway is covered in patches. It's just creepy. The bantomats did not work at the boarding gate, it was very stuffy in the boarding area, the air conditioners did not work.

The new airport terminal is an arrival hall, 2 windows are open for foreigners until all Ukrainians pass, when they pass, foreigners are allowed to pass through other windows.
The old building is a dispatch terminal. There are only 2 windows on the check and around the corner (which is not obvious to many) there is also a boarding gate.
I saw a case when they didn't put a stamp on the departure (it probably happens everywhere, but just in case, check). The old terminal has a smoking room and a rest room (for those whose departure time is not yet soon).
The staff is positive and understanding, which is undoubtedly pleasing.
You arrive at a new one, and the departure is strictly from the airport. The new one is the new one. And the old one could have been cleaned up. Wait for tricky questions at customs. When you were in Crimea, how much money you were carrying, who you were staying with. It feels tense!
The new terminal is at 5+,
but in the old one...the san.node
"does not climb into any Spanish gate."
And more questions to the staff...
they put the luggage on the baggage belt from one flight, and another was indicated on the scoreboard
, they waited for forty minutes until they figured out what was what...
The city is wonderful. An airport... - I would like to see equipped places for employees, waiting areas and queues for registration in different places.
I did not see duty free there, parking for cars - the price is unrealistic, I gave 600 UAH in 3 days and one hour. You've completely lost your conscience!!! It is absolutely unclear which terminal to fly from, new and or old, the taxi drivers have a certificate. Disgusting service.
Toilets are only in the basement, down the stairs. Question: how can I change a diaper for a child if the stroller is not lowered and lifted? Is there a toilet for the disabled? I didn't find it. The mother and child's room is also nowhere to be found. There is nowhere to feed the child. Perhaps passengers should fly without children?
The queue for departure from the old terminal for flights across Ukraine is 40 minutes for security checks and about the same for the only one (!) boarding gate.
The staff are friendly and try to help, but everything rests on the old infrastructure.
And with the arrival at the new terminal, everything is fine.
A cramped, cold airport. The hope is that the old building was promised to be closed this year. I would like to mention the airport staff separately. Most of them are polite and helpful people. Thanks to them!
The terminals for arrival and departure are different. There is a new terminal on arrival, and an old one on departure. We flew from Moscow with a transfer to Minsk, everything went very quickly. If you are flying to relatives or for work, it is better to have an invitation with you. We passed through customs without any problems.
It 's hard to call it an airport , there are long queues , no one knows anything and can 't help in any way , why are they sitting here ? Do you want help? Do it yourself! They're going to yell at you or talk to you, I don't know! The USSR !

Upon arrival in September 2019, my fingerprints did not match my own fingerprints 2.5 months ago, when I brought my granddaughter to my grandmother/ grandfather. They were held without explanation and water with 30 Turks in the same hall for about two hours. Taking into account the transfer flight, which was told to the airport staff, they did not speed up in any way and promised to delay it for 3 days. Considering that I was born in Odessa, and I have been flying there to my parents for many years 1-2 Rashes a year. Disgusting attitude from employees who are 20 years old, no respect and understanding. It's a complete mess, and there are a lot of people like me, just not everyone writes about it. Take action, dear head, Odessa Airport (old airport).
You arrive at the new terminal, where everything is normal, but you fly out of the old one, which looks like a backwater bus station, a lot of people, queues and unsanitary conditions.
