If you read my last review i raved about the Josper ribeye but unfortunately with my last visit not as good...steak seemed thinner and overdone when I asked for medium, i definitely got well-done. Still good flavor but tough. Grilled veges were nice but the tea tasted like a hint of dish soap. I will try again but inconsistency in a restaurant is the worst.

Those who say that it is expensive, all the products are fresh, everything is always delicious, the portions are good, always clean, for such a place, it is inexpensive.
In my neighborhood, in the most ordinary old small cafe, the same dishes either cost the same, or 10-15 thousand cheaper, but tasteless, terribly greasy.
The restaurant is objectively good, for those who have been in cheap delicious-tasteless places, and in super expensive delicious-tasteless ones.
And the atmosphere for me is 50-80 years old, very beautiful✨️✨️

In the heart of Tashkent there is a cafe-restaurant with a cozy interior, unobtrusive background music and a great atmosphere. These are the "Lights of Tashkent". I liked the food, the roast beef salad is dressed perfectly. The waiter is nimble and executive. You can sit on the terrace, looking at the street and passers-by, but now it's cool there, you can get inside. The restaurant is not so big, it is probably better to book a table for the evening, and there were not so many guests at lunch. Definitely, I will add it to my personal rating for regular visits.

I love this place! Excellent cuisine, cleanliness, service. You can meet, take guests, sit alone. There are breakfasts, lunches, dinners - different menus for each option. The evening menu is the most expensive. There is alcohol, if anyone needs it. The background music is always pleasant and ear-free.

The restaurant "Lights of Tashkent" is a wonderful place in the very center of the city, next to the Navoi Theater and the Central Department Store. The atmosphere here is simply amazing, reminiscent of America in the 60s. I especially like the open kitchen, where you can watch the cooking process.
The wine selection here is impressive, and the desserts are simply delicious. The menu is large and varied, everyone will find something to their taste. There are good child seats for families with children, which is very convenient. The restaurant is always very clean and the service is at a high level.
The only advice is to book seats in advance, as the restaurant is very popular. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay!

The establishment is positioned as an inexpensive restaurant recommended by the locals. What do you expect to see under the sign of such a name? That's right, an authentic Uzbek restaurant with Oriental cuisine, with waiters in traditional clothes, background or live oriental music. The reality is the most ordinary restaurant with completely neutral interiors, zero authenticity, zero connection with the name, the prices are significantly above average. I still don't understand why they came here. The food is average, there are few people, the waiters can't just take the already poured drinks from the bartender's counter for 15 minutes and take them to us. If it were possible to waive 20% of the service fee, that's what they would have done. I don't recommend it.

The thought is wonderful , the eggplant salad is too greasy for me , the eggplants were swimming in oil .

I liked the restaurant, in the very center (near the pedestrian street), atmospheric and tastefully decorated interior in the style of the 60s. Fast service and serving of dishes. A cozy cafe, but very slow service, despite the far incomplete boarding. I recommend trying sea buckthorn tea and Kiev cutlet.
I do not recommend taking Picatte. In the original recipe, the chicken fillet should be thin and chipped, here it's just a large piece of fairly dry fillet in the dough with a small layer of filling in the middle. It's hard to eat that.

I don't understand the enthusiastic reviews about the food - very mediocre. Kiev cutlet with mashed potatoes: the cutlet is OK, the mashed potatoes are mixed with water ((( I waited for her for exactly half an hour in an empty cafe. The coffee arrived quickly. No one warned about the long preparation of the dish and naturally did not ask when to bring coffee ..
In fact, the waiters are extremely taciturn and not friendly. They almost never appear at the table. They sent a card to pay the bill by showing the direction of the cash register at the other end of the cafe. There are almost no visitors, is it really impossible to see them off?? Complete lack of service and 20% service charge in the bill...

If you are in Tashkent and you are tired of pilaf, then come here) You can have a snack and just eat for any purse; a large, quite diverse menu, tea, coffee, desserts. We never went hungry) every business trip-we are here. The audience is decent, the waiters are trying their best. The disadvantage can be considered (well, we do) the added 20% to the service receipt. Somehow it's not humane and I don't want to leave more tips, but I would like to)
