the monument is gorgeous, you won't find a better monument. An incredible lot of photos were taken with it. It's just a real legend. The one who invented it is a genius.

The sculptor very accurately conveyed the character, traditions and way of life of the Shklov residents in the image of a cucumber.His clothes and style accurately convey the spirit of Shklov fairs and holidays. Both the heroes of the famous Sorochinsky fair in Ukraine and our Cucumber are symbols of national identity. It is very expensive for us, because we ourselves were participants in those bazaars, together with our parents and grandfathers.

Shklov... My whole youth was spent in this city. Almost every year we meet with some classmates - well, how can we not take a picture at this unusual monument?!
Cucumber in Shklov was and remains the most popular seasonal vegetable. I even remember the ball variety - Shklov cucumbers. My grandmother, the "queen of the garden," was still alive then. I also helped her in growing cucumbers: covering-opening greenhouse films, watering, harvesting, washing, even had to sell at the bazaar. By the way, I really love this dietary and low-calorie product more than, say, a tomato. I can eat a couple of kilograms and I can eat all day.
This monument pleasantly and reverently reminds me of a carefree youth.
I do not know Andrey Vorobyov from Mogilev, but I bow low to him for creating this monument!
