The location in the very center, the authenticity of the rooms, hence the austerity of the interior, continental breakfasts without the right to choose, but I would like national dishes, rooms with separate beds, rooms without air conditioning, the courtyard, which is also a gathering place for all the guests, sometimes does not bark to relax fully because of active companies, but it is rather It's subjective who gets lucky.
A great hotel with 300 years of history. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and an authentic atmosphere. The rooms have air conditioning. There are breakfasts. The hotel is shaped like a courtyard-well. I definitely recommend it.
Rooms: not big, even small, but it's the best thing to spend the night. We had 3 beds, the furniture itself is not ice, and the bed linen wants the best, it's time to change it!
We got the smelliest room, the smell of sewage was very strong, well, it wasn't possible. At the same time, the number was changed without reservation (already odorless).
All rooms have towels, disposable slippers, soap, shower gel and shampoo. There was also one set of toothbrushes and pastes, probably to be used in turn))) There are no dishes and a refrigerator in the rooms, but there is a small kitchenette where you can take the necessary dishes and a refrigerator where you can put your groceries.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere is gorgeous, and the building itself is history.
The breakfasts are comprehensive.
The location is very convenient, everything is within walking distance.
We booked through Booking back in January for a day. But when we arrived, we were told that there were no rooms. At the same time, the hostess offered another hotel for other money, then she said that the room would be empty by 18 o'clock. We quietly left our bags at the reception and went on an excursion. We returned late in the evening and what do you think the boy at the reception desk said that he didn't know anything about us and there were no places... he called someone for a long time and made arrangements with someone. As a result, we were taken to another hotel, while the room was for 2 people and we were 3 women, one was put on the floor on a mattress. It was very dishonest, but they asked to cancel the booking from the booking office, like they were re-booking to another hotel. But it was a trick so that we couldn't write a negative review. The hostess is not decent. We have read reviews that we are not the only ones who have been treated like this.
A great place to relax. The rooms are compact. The renovation is not very fresh, but the location and price are pleasing. A great place for a tourist who thinks through expenses. The rooms have a toilet and a shower. The 18th century building.
A good hotel, the main attractions are within walking distance. A big plus in the room is Underfloor heating, air conditioning, TV, small refrigerator. A cozy outdoor courtyard. Cons of synthetic bed linen. A modest but hearty breakfast. The staff is friendly.
An amazing hotel in the very center of Bukhara, old, chic atmosphere. I booked directly, not through the service, found a number in Google (the number is incorrect here) and debited, transferred money to the card and arrived. I booked it literally in the evening of the previous day. Thanks a lot to the staff for their efficiency. The price is super adequate for such a colorful place, also with breakfast (quite a good breakfast, also tea in national bowls and teapot). The territory is amazing, the courtyard, trestles, a couple of trees that create shade. The rooms are also in the national style, while everything is there - sockets, air conditioning, a bathtub (not a shower). For those who are fundamentally important or who plan to stay for many days, there are not enough storage places. But if you don't want to leave most things in your suitcase (and we didn't), then there are no disadvantages at all. It is easy to find a hotel, Ohun signs are hanging, a Yandex taxi is approaching nearby, their local tuk-tuks can drive right up to the door, a landmark for them is a fire station nearby. The Labi House is a couple of minutes away. And all other attractions are within walking distance for families with children as well. In general, as soon as you open this ancient door and cross the threshold of the hotel, the atmosphere is incredible. I sincerely recommend it to those who want to soak up something interesting, at the same time comfortable and more than adequate in price
Barn. Overall, it's good, but I don't recommend it in the fall.
Advantages: friendly Russian-speaking staff, the center of the old town, Underfloor heating, air conditioning, TV. The atmosphere of the old town, breakfast in the courtyard.
Cons: synthetic bed linen, blowing from the window.
A very authentic hotel. Friendly staff. Delicious, fresh breakfasts. It's like living in the 18th century. But, with air conditioning and a bathroom.
One of the disadvantages is that there is no refrigerator of its own.
The bathroom is tired, but clean.
An authentic 18th century caravanserai. Merchants of the Great Silk Road also stopped here.. In the beginning, everything was great. But the bad weather came, the snow, and first the Internet went away, then the hot water, then the gas. But the room was warm from split. The rooms have beautiful old doors and beams, there is a small hallway, a spacious bathroom, right with a bathtub. The most important thing is that in the room and in the bathroom there were underfloor heating until the hot water left. It is clear that prices are different in winter , so it is normal . There is a small nook in the form of a kitchen. Breakfast is simple, budget-friendly: Sausage, egg, bread, tea and cake in a package. I think it's super here in the warmer months, and the old town is close. The administrators are nice people. We wish prosperity From Russian retired travelers.
The hotel is in an ancient building, the surroundings and the interior view will make you plunge into the life of the past, the price and quality are equal, we were only one day at night,
we really liked Bukhara, thanks to the guide and the locals.
Very good location. All historical sights are nearby.
The staff is pleasant.
The rooms are generally cozy.
The laundry is washed, but it has already been seen. The water pressure was weak in the morning, but it was enough to wash.
A very good rich breakfast: omelette, watermelon, grapes, flatbread, cookies, sour milk, tea/coffee.
An inexpensive hotel, you can spend the night, but there are a lot of small shoals.
The bathtub in room 115 is full of holes, after taking a shower, the entire floor is flooded with water, the breakfasts are very simple and monotonous, they were fed a pacifier, fried egg and a waffle with instant coffee all week.
The staff is very pleasant and friendly, ready to help in any way they can, they offered to cheer us up in another room.
The price corresponds to the quality in general.
A beautiful authentic place. Friendly staff. Don't expect the gloss of a 5* hotel here, but it's very good for its price. It is located very close to the Old Town. The rooms are small, have a bathroom and air conditioning. Of the cons: except that it is a little noisy, there is a mosque nearby and in the morning the sounds of prayer wake up. And the guests smoke in the courtyard.
Atmospheric! An old building, embroidery everywhere, a courtyard with a huge tree and trestles, everything as I like. Breakfast is normal. Take room 122, there is a big nice bath there!
It's a great place! The 17th century Caravanserai is 5 minutes from the main attractions, shopping street and cafes. Although the Hotel is ancient, the rooms are clean and everything is there for a comfortable stay. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and attentive people. Any issues are resolved instantly! A great breakfast is included in the room rate. Wi-Fi is stable. We stayed from October 11 to 13, 2022 in two rooms in the sixth.
Thank you very much to the hosts! We got into a real oriental fairy tale!
I highly recommend it!!!
If it wasn't for the maintenance staff, I would have given it 2 stars. And so people are very responsive, they helped us a lot, including with the purchase of railway tickets online. Thank them VERY MUCH. As for the hotel, our rooms were bad. I don't want to write about it anymore. Maybe the second floor is better, but at 22:00 I had to leave the room and calm the foreigners down, because they were very noisy, and the table was right in front of our room entrance.
Very, very noisy. People sit in the courtyard until late at night and their conversations echo through all the rooms. The audibility is perfect, the only auditory window is not an option to close in the heat. Requests to sleep (time 12!) were waved off and laughed even louder. Then they started pounding something. This is some kind of tin.
A good spacious hotel, large rooms, a bathroom, even a patio, so in general beauty you can order a hookah, in general, if you stay in Bukhara, I recommend this place, well, the most important plus, everything is nearby)
Oh, it was so bad for us that I don't even know where to start😂🙈
We checked in in the evening. At the reception, the guy did not understand Russian and answered all the questions translated in the Google translator that the administration would only be there tomorrow, and ask them. Well, or he just nodded and did nothing. And there were a lot of questions.
Dirty stained sheets. I looked at them, nodded, did nothing🤣
The floors were very dirty, they don't seem to have been washed for months.
There was almost no water in the room on the second floor (photo attached), it was not possible to wash my head. When asked about water, he nodded, ran into some room and promised that everything would appear in 5 minutes, but nothing changed.
The towels are gray and washed, worn out by life, but they seem clean.
The mattresses were terrible, it was impossible to sleep easily. I was also bitten by some bug in the bed, but it didn't seem to be a bug.
There is an air conditioner, but he was playing with all the cold right into bed and it was impossible to change his direction, increasing the temperature did not help. And it's terribly stuffy without it. As a result, you freeze at midnight, then you die from the stuffiness.
The guests were noisy and chattering until one o'clock in the morning. And at 5 a.m., right through the window, we were woken up by the mosque in the next house.
Check-out is at 11, and breakfast is from 8 to 10. Those are the option to eat early in the morning, take a walk around the city and check out does not work. Therefore, we decided that we would not prolong this hell, just relax in the morning after a sleepless night in the room, have breakfast a little before 10 and check out quietly. But at 9, an employee started knocking on our door and hurrying us with breakfast. He was disgusting, by the way. It would be better not to include him in the service at all, we regretted that we counted on him.
Again, it was not possible to wash. This employee spoke Russian well. They explained to her about the water, she said that the administration would come by lunch and decide everything. And we have, like, an eviction at 11, what a lunch, I don't want to stay here. She promised to fix the water, but there were no changes. We moved out like this))
I almost forgot, the other guests were smoking inside. And the administration allowed it all.
On the plus side, this location is great. The sights are just around the corner. The 19th century building is also wonderful. The interior is gorgeous. But it is simply impossible to live there.
You can look at the old buildings with your eyes, but it's better to live where at least there is water. Then we moved into another hotel, a new one. And the picture was completely different and immediately life got better when you can sleep and wash.
The place is interesting and the location is good, but it was uncomfortable for me to be there.
It feels like the room I was checked into was not cleaned after the previous guests.
The floors are dirty, my socks became dirty after moving around the room in them, hair was lying everywhere, there were no curtains in the bathroom.
The air conditioner was clogged with dust and therefore did not work.
The room was damp, cold, and smelled damp, if not worse.
Plaster fell from the ceiling on you while you were sleeping))
However, the staff is friendly, tried to solve the issues that arise and the place itself is atmospheric.
I would like a better repair and cleaning)
The hotel is just great!!!The staff is polite.Everything is clean and beautiful, a beautiful courtyard. All the sights are within a one-minute walk.We stayed for two days, we really liked it.
In general, everything is fine. Warm, cozy, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of that time, the building was built at the end of the 19th century. For money, they came, looked, paid, but for the sake of interest they looked at the same booking and it comes out much cheaper! There are 23 rooms in the hotel, we lived in 2 rooms and 2 more were occupied, the room next to one of our rooms was occupied and we talked and walked all night, as a result it was very hard to sleep, sound insulation was tight! Breakfast - kefir, sugar, waffles, flatbread, fried egg with sausage. It's not great, but it's okay in principle. Bottom line, I think that for this money you can find a much better hotel.
There are no advantages, we booked a room a week in advance, when we arrived it turned out that the room was rented to others, we had to look for another hotel half the night with the children... the staff did not even apologize…
The level of the hostel is quite consistent, the main advantage is the location in the historical center of Bukhara and the building itself of the 19th century. If you want to feel the atmosphere of old Bukhara, this is an ideal option, but do not expect much comfort.
The hostel itself is not bad, especially for those who love the original. This is a former madrasah building and rooms were made in the cells, adding a shower and toilet. The brick walls inside the rooms are not covered with anything, there are no windows (the only one above the door is closed with a lattice. There is no heating either, and in early January this is relevant. So: the hostel is not bad if you completely replace the staff. There are young guys at the reception who don't care about anything (to put it mildly!)I tell them: it's cold in the room, give me a blanket or a heater. In response: "There is neither one nor the other, can you manage somehow?"After the scandal, a blanket was brought from another hotel - thin as a decorative one. Next: they allow you to use the kitchen in hostels - I looked in there and was horrified: the unsanitary conditions are terrible! But they cook breakfast for us there every day!
We booked through booking. Be prepared for the fact that they may tell you that there are no places and put you in another hotel nearby. That's for sure, because they wanted to settle here. Because of the 3-star service
A terrible place (( very dirty in the rooms, on the toilet on the rim of the toilet bowl, hair from previous tenants, traces of yellow stains, there was no toilet paper at all.
The sheets are torn, there is hair in the sink, there is no curtain in the bathroom, the water is all dripping on the floor, the bathroom is not washed with stains.
Breakfast is generally something, watermelon fruits smelled like the contents of the refrigerator, one paper sausage and 1 butter egg are served. The price on the booking and in fact the difference, perhaps due to the differences in the exchange rate.
But it's not a complete value for money. For this price, you can find much better hotels if you walk through the center yourself.
I do not recommend this shed
Unfortunately, a potentially very good place was turned into a shabby hotel that I wanted to move out of at the first opportunity. The reason is dirt. Dirty everywhere: bed linen, floors, bathtub. There wasn't even a liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom. Even the very atmospheric courtyard is clearly not well maintained.
We moved out the next day to a nearby hotel, there are dozens of them in one place. In the new hotel, everything is simply much better, despite the fact that the price difference was not even 20% more expensive.
We were there for several hours before the plane. The hotel is original, it was interesting that the building was from the 19th century. But there is definitely no accommodation for a few days - it is very noisy at night, the rooms are stuffy.
There is only one towel, the mattresses are very soft, the pillow is super thin, some left-wing people walk around. There is one refrigerator for the entire hotel in the courtyard.
Excellent administrators. Large rooms, room amenities. Breakfast is included in the price, but we didn't have enough for all the guests (breakfast is a croissant, a couple of sausages, scrambled eggs). The water pressure in the shower was very weak. Overall, a colorful and pleasant place.
I do not recommend this hotel at all, the administration does not care what happens in the hotel, after 12 nights there is constant walking and noise. It is better not to save 1000 rubles and move into a more cozy place, the choice is simply huge.
The place is cool, clean, neat and not expensive. The only negative was substituted in the morning with a transfer to the railway station, although they took an advance payment for it, the money was returned, but they had to look for a taxi, which is not so easy to do at 5 am.
The location and architecture are excellent. Otherwise, not much. The furniture is terrible, there are no Windows, small windows, the breakfast is tolerable....
The layout of the building is historical. The rooms have not been cleaned properly for a long time. Dust on the walls, on the shelves. The kitchen is small and always busy or with dirty dishes. The price is reasonable, the shower is hot, there are bathrooms. All rooms are separate with a bathroom, shower and toilet.
