So, I would like to dispel some positive background around this hotel: it's a mystery to me where so many satisfied people come from, maybe they were luckier than me.
So let's start with the pros:
1) The location is not bad – not far from the center (about 1km), a quiet place. You won't see noisy crowds of tourists here
2) The hotel has been recently renovated.
3) There is a public transport stop not far away, there are restaurants nearby, Starbucks.
Now to the main thing – the cons:
1) Breakfast is terrible-only croissants, cheese and cold yogurt. The enthusiastic reviews about this moment are not clear. You will not see any porridges, omelets or other hot dishes here.
2) The rooms are a separate story). At the entrance there is a glass cabin with blinds, through the glass of which absolutely everything can be heard. Any sound at night or during the day. This is the first time I've encountered this. So get ready right away. There is not enough space in the room, there is no closet. There is no place to put things.
3) There are no slippers, bathrobes, lotions, toothpaste and shampoo. They save money on this.
Now the most important thing: upon arrival at the hotel, you will be charged a tax of 15EUR per person, they do not issue receipts. They will also ask for a card for further write-offs in case of damage to the hotel. They charge off the card without warning and without presenting receipts! I had the following situation: I injured my leg in their shower stall (I clamped my finger in the shower drain, it is made of tile, see photo), bleeding opened at night and blood got on the blanket and sheets (photo). The administrator was told about this on the morning of 12/30/19, To which bandages and assurances were given that everything was in order, they would clean everything up. By the way, the administrator was everyone's favorite Russian-speaking girl. Later that day, 30EUR were debited from my card without receipts and all kinds of warnings. After that, catching her on shift one of the following days, I began to find out why there was a write–off and on what basis - I was injured in the hotel in their shower stall. A boy came, we went up to the room, he looked and said that this could not have happened at their place. Apparently he is an expert in traumatology and medicine). Then I saw him in a restaurant serving wine)). After that, I demanded an answer from them on this situation, which I post here for completeness. But it's not over yet! We left at 3.00 in the morning, going to the reception, handing over the card from the room and receiving an affirmative answer that everything was in order from the administrator, we moved to the airport. 40 minutes after our departure, an attempt was made by the hotel to debit 229.32EUR from my card!!!! I.e. these, if I may say so, hoteliers (I can hardly find the correct expressions) knowing that I would not be able to return, tried to write off this amount unilaterally! I repeat, without presenting any receipts and requirements earlier! I was lucky that this money was not on the card, otherwise this amount would have been irretrievably lost.
Be very careful in this hotel, or even better, find another one, thank God there is plenty to choose from. Good luck to you and have a good trip!
