It's a good place, although it's difficult to sit there, but if you come before 7.30 there will be an empty table. Since we went there every evening, the waiters remembered us and immediately offered us a table. The menu is great and delicious, especially Madame Bovary's dish. The prices are very nice. Khinkali was eaten and tastier, but at this price it is very good.

I ordered a quail, they dried it in the oven, they brought just a piece of dried small meat, they ordered eggplants in the same way, the soup and salad turned out to be normal and the wine was therefore 3 stars, but I would advise changing the cook, otherwise there will be no guests at the restaurant… I do not know how the staff takes out such dishes at all…

We have been to old barn several times.
The first time everything was fine, we tried khinkali with minced beef, mushrooms and cheese. It was delicious.
The second time is a complete disappointment!!! Because the waiters immediately ask how many people, if 2, they did not particularly want to sit at a table, because it is more profitable for them to accept a large company. As a result, we were allowed to sit at a large table for 1 hour. Almost all the tables had a reserve sign, but when a large company came, they put them at these tables. That is, in fact, there was no reserve. Was it possible?!! Therefore, life hack-if you want to sit down at the table, say that there are 5 of you, and calmly sit down and order food for two😁
The food was so-so, I waited a long time for Mexican potatoes, okay, sharpness.. everything is spicy in Georgia, but the potatoes should be so salty.. it was impossible to eat it!!
The waiter girl did not know Russian well, ordered 2 lemonades, brought one. They asked me to bring the bill, I carried it for 20 minutes...in general, it is a disappointment.
Oh, and also, it's very noisy in the establishment!!! Noise, farce🥲

The reviews about the fast feed are not true. Everything was very slow, they waited 30 minutes in an empty hall so that they would just take an order from us. Then we cooked khinkali for 1.5 hours. The guy at the next table waited for 1 hour for khachapuri in Ajarian

In normal establishments, the waiter usually repeats the order so as not to miss anything. There is no such thing here, and accordingly they forget about something. There are young waitresses who do not know both Russian and English well. One such girl was asked to bring an extra plate, fork and knife. As a result, I brought a plate and a spoon. On the second attempt, I changed the spoon for a fork, but did not bring the knife. There is another waitress with dark hair, bright makeup and an eternally dissatisfied face, who also forgot about one position in the order and safely went to smoke behind the summer terrace facing the visitors. As a result, we already ate a barbecue and salad, and the potatoes were brought 30 minutes after that.
There are no complaints about the taste. Chicken kebab is generally a fire. But kharcho didn't like the soup at all. Namely, that there is too much cilantro in it, just a lot. Coriander soup as if)) and because of this, the soup tasted like dirty kitchen rags to me🥲
The prices are pleasant, which is probably why there are always a lot of visitors there. In general, if the work of the waiters was good, there would be no complaints at all)

We ordered khinkali with cheese (just a bomb), we liked chakapuli very much (one of the most delicious in Batumi), but pancakes do not know how to cook at all. They turned out to be raw and stuck to the palate and teeth. They said that this was the recipe and invited me to the kitchen to look at it.

The service is terrible. The kebab is made from different parts of a pig, some pieces are greasy, some are dry. The price is justified, everything is normal in this regard. They ordered a liter of wine on tap, they are still drunk, they will not let go in any way..some kind of gibberish... ah, and the Ojahuri carried this unfortunate hour…

We were on Saturday evening, without a table reservation. There was a full boarding in the establishment. We were asked to wait a bit, there was another couple in front of us. They were put in and we were first in line, so we decided to wait.
