A small hotel in the heart of Mtskheta, opposite Svetitskhoveli. The perfect location, everything is nearby. And inside there is everything you need, plus a cozy (albeit somewhat crowded) courtyard, where it is especially good to sit in the evening. In the evenings it is very quiet here, only the bells are ringing, but not often. Tourists usually come from the other side, there are more locals here
This is not the first time we have visited Mtskheta - a city in Georgia, located at the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers - this is a Divine place, in the truest sense of the word. A family-run, homely, moderately intimate hotel with pleasant, in all respects, hosts George and Asa. From the first minutes of your stay at the hotel, you feel surrounded by hospitality and cordiality. From the third floor, the terrace offers fantastic views of the mountains and the temples of Svetitskhoveli and Jvari. Having been here once, you will definitely come back to relive those indescribable feelings and emotions that you have been charged with forever. Many thanks to our friends George and Asa. May God grant them health and happiness.
Nice hotel. The friendly host Georg is a beautiful place, the tranquility and warmth surrounding you, the place is fascinating. Thanks to Aza for the delicious breakfast, on the day of departure she fed the most delicious achma.
The room was so-so. The door lock was breaking. There was no remote control for the TV. There is no air conditioning in the room. Ventilation is through an open window, and there are mosquitoes. The window opens into the walls, on which gas boilers and sewer pipes are installed, which produce noise when used for their intended purpose. The plumbing is loose. The kitchenette is not equipped with everything necessary for cooking, only tea and a microwave for heating.
Now for the good news: the location of the hotel in the center is near the ancient Svetitskhoveli Temple, several cafes, various shops. There are two rivers nearby at their confluence, the Kura and the Aragvi. And, of course, the greatest city of Mtskheta is the First inheritance of the Most Holy Theotokos!
A cozy place at home, there is a small courtyard for gatherings) the hotel is located right next to the wall of the ancient fortress) the owner is a kind-hearted man)
We stayed at this hotel for one night. The location of the hotel is great. The TV in the room was not working. The bathroom was very cramped. Plumbing needs to be replaced. The window of the room overlooks the neighbor's fence. We were met by the hostess, who does not use a computer and we had to show her what our room was. When the owner came, he began to say something incomprehensible, that if he had known that there were two of us, he would have given us a room for two, although we had booked a room for three. And the most interesting thing is that the owner is not very adequate. I'll explain why now. We booked this hotel on booking, then left a review. And the owner of the hotel received a call asking us to delete the review or correct it for a higher rating, after we did not do this, the owner began to write threats. So be careful. Better look for other places to stay.
The location is the best this place has to offer. To begin with, we were greeted by a drunken host who couldn't connect two words. His wife was angry-probably at him. The toilet's drain tank didn't work, so I had to fill buckets. There was not always hot water. An important caveat: at the entrance to the historical center (where this "hotel" is located) there are columns that drop when the card is attached. They descend for 15 seconds, and then rise again. So they can easily lift the car on its belly. When we were driving, there were no pillars (apparently a car had just passed), so we passed. Thank God we made it! I think that the owners are obliged to warn about this and contact us in advance!
