Admission is 10 euros, the city is big, there is a place to walk and see, it is very interesting and beautiful in the gorge.
Access to the beach from the city, you can sunbathe and swim with a beautiful view and clear sea.
One disadvantage is that you can get there either by car or with a guided tour...
It's just a huge museum complex, there is where to walk and what to see. The city has not been preserved, the ruins are being restored, but it is very interesting, knowing that the city itself originated before our era. The city was part of the Lycian Union, and then the Roman Empire, rebuilt and completed. It takes your breath away from the history that this city has experienced
A very interesting place, you can wander from the beach to the ancient city, though for a fee, in the form of an entrance fee.
You can take colorful photos and admire the ruins.
I especially recommend it to lovers of Greek culture.
I recommend a visit.
You can walk through the ruins of the ancient city, touch the history in the truest sense of the word. And at the end, the ancient street overlooks the shore of a picturesque bay. It is very interesting and beautiful. And be sure to Google the history of this city, there are many interesting facts about it, knowing which, the inspection becomes even more fascinating.
I liked the little theater. I think you need to be prepared to visit such places. Here is a pile of stones, this was once here. This is a brief description of everything that is there. You need more imagination to like it. The main problem is the price is too high in relation to the number of things that are there (you can run through and read everything in 15-20 minutes)
Good afternoon. Everything is fine with these people, but about our Antique Boulevard in Sevastopol. There was a project of this boulevard in Ukraine, and that was the end of it. Currently, it is abandoned, they are trying to build it up, will the current administration not fulfill the demob accord before leaving, leave a memory of itself. They're doing some little things, but there's a whole boulevard here, and they've been doing it for 10 years.🙏
An incredibly atmospheric place! The entrance is 10 euros, but we arrived at 5 p.m. on Sunday, went to the ticket office, ready to pay, and suddenly, they announced to us that the ticket office was closing and admission was free.Parking near the entrance is also paid.
There are informative places on the territory of the ancient city that are new enough to read.
An unrealistically beautiful beach, comparable only to Patara beach
A ruined and forgotten city. Many buildings are under restoration and therefore entry is prohibited. On the slopes there are crypts that have long been looted or broken from time. On a large scale, but it brings sadness and thoughts about the transience of time and death. Such a paradise was inhabited by people and was abandoned by them. Even the coastline is beautiful. Riddle...
You will lose a lot if you don't come here. The place is super atmospheric. Take the time and money to visit this ancient city. It is better to go in the morning, BEFORE lunch, because after lunch there are a lot of tourists from ships. And if possible, eat by yourself without time limit. There is a place to visit, to walk too. And what is super interesting is to study the history of this place. Read it in advance to understand the scale and importance of this city.
Also in this place you can meet turtles, real crabs live in the river. In general, it is a super place that is worth visiting, being in Kemer and its surroundings.
When the sun is shining, it's warm, the air is from the sea, and inside there is 150 Spanish - any ruins are magnificent.
Separately, it will be interesting to observe the real excavations of the ancient city. It will appeal to those who like to wander thoughtfully and reflect on eternity, beauty, geography, etc.
It went down very well for me.
They don't feed in winter: there are about 20 establishments around, but all are closed.
It seems to me one of the most interesting ancient cities.
It is clear that he is being cared for and continues to recover.
It is also noticeable that they did not bother to restore the stucco and some stucco stones were laid in the wall…
A great historical place. It breathes history. It looks like the excavations of Pompeii. The Mediterranean Sea and the Lycian Trail are nearby. But the prices are never affordable :(
When I was in the city, two tractors of authentic stones were taken out of the city at once - apparently, a similar antique town is being organized somewhere nearby (10 euros for admission are not lying on the road) ... 🤓
It is possible to sprinkle ancient ruins, it is considered a special chic, but toilets would still not hurt. This is a big minus. Otherwise, there are only advantages and positive impressions.
Yes, there are ruins, but it is very crowded, behind the crowds of vacationers these masterpieces are almost not visible, especially on the beach. June 2024
Stratonikea, the city of peace, pedasso..this is only a part of the objects that can and should be visited. Compared to them, this museum is quite weak. They do not accept cards, only cash lira, there is a normal parking.. if you are limited in time, you will not lose anything
Pay the money from the beach, and if you come on your own not from the Chirala side, there is no problem entering. It's a bit insulting, you don't always know such subtleties.
I just wanted to go to my hotel in Ciraly, I told the security that I did not need to watch Olympos, only the passage, they still demanded to pay 10 euros.
It is very beautiful, interesting and informative. When you look down, your breathing stops. It is necessary to make sure before departure that it will not be cloudy, otherwise time will be spent on a milky landscape with a visibility of 10-15 m.
It's a bit expensive for such a small volume, the neighboring Phaselis is much more interesting for the same money. But both have a way to log in for free. Here you just need to cross the river on the beach and there is a pretty good trail through the bushes.
Very impressed by the ancient ruins in the vicinity of the village of Chiraly. Streets, tombs, a part of the embankment, a theater, and mosaics have been preserved - from the time of the Roman Empire. The fortress wall, which was built by pirates, has been partially preserved.
If you are vacationing in Antalya and have free time, then it is worth seeing these ruins, although almost everything is destroyed, in general, you can understand how it looked a couple of thousand years ago. I recommend swimming in the sea after visiting the ruins, there are interesting grottoes in the rocks.
Everything is in the process of recovery. If only with a guide to listen to the story

Along with Perge and Aspendos, it is a great place for lovers of ancient history. But what will be your surprise when you walk through the ancient city and go to the beach. Clean water, silence and a view of the ancient ruins. There is another similar place nearby, Fesalis, there too, you definitely need to go.
Not too fully excavated, but nevertheless an interesting ancient polis, with a necropolis, a portico of a Roman church and other things, deserves a walk
Beautiful ruins of an ancient city, a large square, there is a place to walk and see. Or you can climb the remains of the fortress by the sea and meet the dawn.
Like every historical place, the city has a feature that attracts people to itself.
People are definitely able to produce positive tools themselves in order to maintain their lives in some way.
There is nothing much to see, there are few signs with a description, they were in October 2023, the Turks began restoration, so half of what was left for inspection.
It was interesting to walk through the ruins, but it didn't have a wow effect. In general, you can go, but only on your own (by car) without an excursion. Entrance to the territory in September 2022 cost 90 liras, parking is free. The nearby beach is good, but renting an umbrella place costs 100 liras.
There is nothing much to see, ruins overgrown with forest. You can climb the remains of the fortress, if you have the courage and desire, from there you can see the beach and the bay. The beach is pebbly, pleasant
Olympos is a place where you want to come back! Antiquity, nature and air! I recommend it!

At the beginning of December 2023, almost half of the city is closed to the public due to excavations, while the fee is more expensive than before. It is clear that the excavations need to be funded, but it's a shame that almost nothing turned out to be seen by a person who got there for the first time
