These "bad people" canceled our reservation on the day of arrival, referring to the "reconstruction of the hotel", while it is still possible to book a hotel on aggregators, but at a new, higher price.
I think this is due to the fact that the Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held this week, which is why prices for all hotels and apartments have increased significantly, and since we booked back in February at an adequate price, the hotel apparently decided to resell our reservation.
Thank you, "bad people"
Do not book this hotel if you are going to some important and cool event in Baku.

It's a terrible place
I booked a room at a booking office, flew in at night and went to the hotel. I was shown into the room and I was horrified.
The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and men's cologne (apparently they were trying to drown out the smell of cigarettes)
There were false windows in the form of lamps behind the curtain.
I had nowhere else to go, and going outside at night and looking for another hotel wasn't the best idea. I decided that I would spend 1 night there and leave in the morning to look for another place.
The smell of cigarettes and cologne was pungent, so I decided to at least ventilate it with an air conditioner, but it also made it worse, as expected, the air conditioner gave off a damp smell and very cold air for such a small room.
The bed linen was yellow and had cigarette holes. The carpet on the floor had turned into an ashtray, and sunflower seeds were scattered in the corners of the room.
It also turned out that my room was not locked with keys, I found out because some man got the wrong number and came to me.…
The only thing that helped was the chain on the door.
After you turn off the light, the room is completely dark, and the sounds from other rooms can be heard like from a cardboard box.
In the morning, I told the staff that I didn't want to stay because I didn't feel safe here. The administrator asked to cancel the swearing at the booking (apparently he hoped that after the cancellation I would be charged a fine in the amount of 1 week's stay), I made the cancellation, the administrator smiled and said goodbye. I quickly called a taxi and left, before they realized that it was impossible to charge anything from the Russian cards on the booking. 😅😅😅
