Very clean hotel, good breakfast and welcoming stuff. It's located just 1 minute from Gur Emir, in a walking distance from Registan. Recommended 100%

This hotel is a 15-20-minute leisurely walk from the main tourist destination of Samarkand - the Registan Ensemble. Nearby is the mausoleum of Timur, a beautiful park, passing through which you can see a monument to him - Timur. A little further than Registan, in 10 minutes on foot, the Bi Bi Khanum mosque and its mausoleum will appear. There will be a Central market nearby. I recommend having lunch there, be sure to try the local version of pilaf. But it is better not to do this at the beginning of the market (where sweets and spices are). It is better to go to the fruit part and turn left there are two places to choose with a veranda On the right side. But...Let's go back to the hotel. It is cozy, with the flavor of an outdoor patio. We especially liked Zara, who, fortunately for us, was the local caretaker for almost both days. She would like to say a huge thank you to her for her care, kind attitude and patience for our constant questions about local life and customs. We learned a lot from her. We wish Zara good health and good luck in her hard work with tourists! Come to Samarkand and stay at this hotel. There will be Zara - you will not regret it for sure!

We recently visited Samarkand, stayed at the Oxaray guest house. Zara, a housewife, met us, a very polite, friendly girl, gave us tea, told us what sights to visit. In the morning there was a homemade breakfast, thanks to Zara and the owner of the house, Alisher, for their kind attitude. This guest house has a very good location, within walking distance of the Registon, Timerlane Mausoleum. We left early in the morning, Zara called a taxi at 4 a.m., saw us off, said goodbye warmly, read a prayer with wishes for an easy road. Thank you very much and indeed we got home without difficulty. So we recommend it.

A wonderful guest house.
Clean, cozy, a wonderful homemade breakfast, carefully prepared at the appointed time according to the choice on the menu.
The rooms are clean, the hospitality is excellent.
Good location near the sights.
I definitely recommend it for relaxing in a cozy atmosphere.

A wonderful place, you can feel the hospitality, the rooms are clean, cleaned every two days. You can also include breakfast, which, by the way, is prepared by the owner of this house himself. The sights are within walking distance: Registan~10min; Bibi Khanum~20min; Gur Emir Mausoleum is across the street; Ak Sarai Mausoleum~2min

It's all good. The location is in the immediate vicinity of the Gur-Emir mausoleum. Registan Square and other attractions can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The hotel and rooms are clean. Who cares when choosing a hotel, pay attention to the size of the room. There are several breakfast options to choose from. Delicious fresh food. There is hot water in the room. The friendly host of the hotel is ready to help guests. Everything is arranged very comfortably at home.

We booked a room in this guest house two months before arrival. We corresponded with the owner and agreed on an early check-in. On the day of arrival at 03.30 in the morning, we tried to contact the owner, but they did not answer us. We took a taxi and arrived at the specified address. But we were disappointed - the doors were closed and no one was waiting for us. We found ourselves on the street at night in an unfamiliar city.

Gur Emir is nearby, behind the fence, a magnificent example of the streets of the old city.
Alisher is a most hospitable, sociable and attentively punctual person. The rooms are equipped with all the necessary equipment for relaxation. The kitchen equipment is modern and Alisher allows you to use it yourself. He cooks breakfast himself, there are 6 options.
