Ohhh, that's just gorgeous. The sea is nearby, from the word at all!!! The staff is very helpful, kind and friendly. Everything is clean and smells nice. There are sooooooo many people, but the elevators are high-speed, so there will be no problems. And the view from the room is just a fairy tale: on one side the sea, and on the other side the mountains. There is still a construction site nearby, but it did not interfere at all. There is an alley nearby,
shops and everything you need.
Positive:the view from the window is amazing. I stayed on the 42nd floor. Day and night, just wow. The room is clean, towels are provided. There is everything you need: an iron, a hair dryer, a washing machine, a microwave, mini bath sets, hangers. In short, a studio with everything you need.
Cons: elevators and the crowd to the elevator) But! Such a crowd at certain hours, usually from 12 to 2. I was calmly leaving the building at 10. And at night, by 12 o'clock, she calmly returned. I had to go down a couple of times by 12 o'clock, that's when I was fucked up. I stood for 20 minutes waiting for the elevator, and then went down for another half hour, while in normal condition the elevator descends from the 42nd floor in 30 seconds
Great location, 2 minutes to the sea, there are grocery stores nearby, an excellent promenade along the sea, a singing fountain nearby, a view from the window to the sea.
But the whole wonderful impression was slightly overshadowed by the huge number of garbage cans next to the entrance to the block and all this also along the sidewalks, which I constantly had to walk past (well, the smell is appropriate).
On vacation in Batumi, we rented a room in an apartment in this hotel. Of the advantages, I would like to note the proximity to the sea, the beautiful appearance of the building, if you look at it at night from the sea, each room has a large balcony, video surveillance cameras are installed on all floors in the corridor and on the stairs.
Of the minuses, I would like to mention the building with 3,500 apartments, so it has 12 elevators for vacationers, but the elevators are poorly adjusted and therefore there is always a huge amount of sense in front of them, and going down from the floor where you live, you can simply not wait for it at all. The building has not yet been completely completed and some of the floors have not been put into operation, the territory is fenced with a construction fence, so there are always traffic jams and signalling drivers around.
Pros: the sea is nearby, the center, everything is within walking distance, the airport is nearby, the view from the skyscraper is beautiful, there is something necessary for life.
Cons: apartments are dead, repairs are needed, queues for elevators, a huge crowd of people both day and night ((
You can live, but if it is possible to rent somewhere else, it is better to do it so that you do not regret the spoiled vacation later.
The apartments have only a few advantages: the altitude, which provides an excellent view (if you are lucky with the location of the room), and proximity to the sea.
We got a room on the side, but with a sea view. However, the TV was not working in the room, and the shower was in a sad state. Nevertheless, it was enough to relax: the bed was comfortable and the bed linen was of good quality.
If you plan to use the air conditioner, be sure to clean the filters before turning on: rinse and dry the grids, and wipe the unit itself. In general, despite some disadvantages, the apartments provide enough conditions for a comfortable stay.
The room greeted us clean, oh pleasant , the location of the hotel is very convenient, the sea is very close, markets and shops are nearby, the view from the terrace is gorgeous, thank you for the warm welcome🇬🇪
Orbi is not a hotel in the usual sense of the word. This is a building with a large number of apartments (apartment for rent), each apartment has its own owner, therefore the condition of the apartment depends on the owner. We just came across a gorgeous landlord, brought an iron at the request, and there was a kitchen, a washing machine and everything necessary for living in the room. The room is clean, tidy, 1in1 as in the photo. Since this is not a hotel, you don't have to wait for room cleaning. We washed our clothes in the typewriter ourselves. They dry perfectly on the dryer on the balcony overnight.
We lived in a room on the 42nd floor, at the elevator during rush hour (check-in and check-out hours) and there are really a lot of people in line, but we stood 1 time for the longest 15 minutes. The rest of the time, they came and went immediately.
The TV and wifi in the apartment were working, everything was fine.
The location of the Orbit is the best. The sea is 2 minutes away, there are 24-hour supermarkets, vegetable markets, a garbage can, a bus stop across the street. This is exactly what block C has, other blocks nearby do not have this.
Apart from the difficulties with the elevator, Orby is a great option for life.
The good things come first: we took a room with a sea view, and the view is really amazing. The room is basically normal, everything is as in the photo, although specifically in our room under the bed and kitchen it was dirty and smelled of burnt oil.
Now about the bad news: there are two elevator groups of 8 in a building with more than 3,000 apartments. This means that in the season (were in July) you'll have to jostle at the elevator for 15-40 minutes EVERY fucking time you decide to get in or out. It completely kills the pleasure of relaxing.
On the 43rd floor we had a nice room, with a wonderful view and a comfortable bed. but…
Elevators are a quest. You don't want to leave the room, knowing that you will wait for the elevator for 20 minutes and go down for another 20 minutes, where you will be met by a huge queue of absolutely uncultured people, from whose gut aggression and bad manners break out.
Buryat or Kazakh adult women are ready to push mothers with babies apart, just to fill the "free" centimeter in the elevator with their wrinkled body and fetid aura with notes of koumiss. It's creepy…
We lived on the 46th floor, a gorgeous view of the night of Batumi and a view of the sea. The apartments are clean and comfortable. Problems with parking cars and queues for the elevator. Otherwise, everything is fine.
We lived for 6 days in this block on the 23rd floor. We paid 1100 GEL. Every time we went down or up, we waited in line for the elevator for 15-30 minutes. There are 12 elevators in total, of which 8-10 work. Be prepared for queues, nervous and arrogant people and be patient. The queues are frenzied at the reception, the staff work slowly. There are eternal traffic jams around the Orbit 24/7, insanely many people, you can't get through, you can't order a taxi, there's nowhere to leave a car. The room was clean, but I had to ask for a hairdryer and toilet paper. A set of 4 towels, 2 pairs of slippers, 2 10 ml mini shampoos and 1 bar of soap is standard. There is no set of toothpaste and brushes. We had a mini studio with tiles, dishes and a washing machine, we bought the powder ourselves. The air conditioner was working properly, powerfully, thanks for that, but inside it was dirty with mold. The water in the shower is standing, it does not go away, the drain does not work well. One day, the lights were turned off in the entire hotel for 1.5 hours. It's definitely not worth coming here and staying during the peak season 💯
A wonderful hotel, clean, cozy, there is a huge mirror above the bed, the view is wonderful and close to the sea. Right across the street you come to the famous boulevard of Batumi
Besides the fact that the room has a more or less decent view, there are no more advantages.
Now about the cons: to get inside, you need to get through a bunch of cars standing in traffic, or just waiting for someone. There are no sidewalks here. The first floors of the building are unfinished.
Once in the small lobby, you will find yourself in a queue at the reception. After standing in it and checking in (if you need to check in through it), you will move into the queue for the elevator ..... You can spend infinity there, and if you do not have a high floor (we had the eleventh), and you are physically strong, then you are very lucky. There is no way to convey a picture of women with children and packages climbing this dark, shabby staircase.
Once on the floor, you will feel the stuffiness and wonderful aromas of Oriental cuisine oozing from the rooms.
Broken tiles on the floor and scuffed walls add to the charm of this place.
Once in the room, you will see a simple and concise interior, but the quality of all materials and the condition of the furniture, the shower is patchy.
I really liked the hotel. Spacious rooms with all amenities. Large balcony with sea view, shower room, washing machine, stove. The hotel is clean and spacious. I will definitely go there again.
The room is nice with a view of the sea, there were no car horns, there were small ones to the elevator. The elevators arrived quickly, 1.5 - 2 minutes.
But there are 3 minor disadvantages and one normal minus. The first three minor disadvantages: a hole in the sheet, a stain on the blanket and a crooked couch, But!. The staff kindly changed the sheets and blankets and fixed the bed. Respect for this. And one minus: mold in the shower, but it was safe to wash. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I got a room on the 17th floor. There was no smell of stars there ((( 49 floors - it's a very long time to wait for an elevator.
A very modest version of the room is the cheapest repairman in the apartment, a lot is broken and not being repaired, there was no cleaning in 5 days and it was not planned, breakfast was not offered, the Internet sucks completely - it is impossible to make a call, there is no cafe-restaurant-canteen in the complex. Of the advantages, only clean linen and towels.
There are better options in the same location
I do not recommend it
There are a lot of people, a lot of cars around, everyone honks day and night – it's very audible in the rooms.
Poor noise insulation with the corridor – you can hear who walks how and where.
Elevators wait for 30 minutes, and you can not wait at all (they arrive clogged).
The rooms are not fully equipped: there is no declared iron, microwave, and (!!!!) the third bed, as indicated on the website. There are no cutlery, towels, you have to ask for all this. And also to be in the room when they bring it all, because the administration does not have spare key cards :)))
The rooms are rarely cleaned, they don't even bring toilet paper.
The only thing that saves is the view from the room.
The building itself looks terrible from the outside (bare concrete base).
A good place in general , of the advantages is the location and price
Of the cons: these are queues for the elevator , in season you can go down and up for an hour . Tired rooms, but a lot depends on the owner and the lack of parking, we arrived at night and spent an hour looking for places all over Batumi
Relatively good. We rented a studio on the 34th floor, there was a mess when we checked in, but thank you, at least we checked in. But the other family was left to figure out why their room was not available at the agreed price. The studio itself is not bad, the renovation is a little tired, but not critical. The bed is comfortable. The view from the window..the sea is on the side, opposite is the same man, there is a construction site below. Elevators are terrible, it's impossible to leave, they spoil the whole impression. If it weren't for them, I would have liked everything in general, as a temporary shelter by the sea would be a great option
It feels like we have arrived at the center of a large construction site. If you are a lover of a more peaceful, secluded holiday, you definitely are not here. There are a lot of people, a lot. The queue for the elevator, during rush hours you will have to wait: both up and down. The stairs won't help much if you check in even on the 7-8 floor.
We lived on the 38th floor.... The views are super. The room is nice and clean, everything works. There was everything from a washing machine to a hair dryer. The sea is less than a minute walk away.but going down from the 38th floor at lunch is a whole adventure. The elevators work terribly.... The algorithm of the lifts is terrible, they went down for 1.5 hours......
A human being, in the worst sense. Queues at the entrance, queues at the exit, queues for the elevator, and there are 12 of them(!). If you want to go down from your floor, and you live above the 7th floor, bad news for you. If you live no higher than 7th-8th, it is better to go down on foot.
There is a construction site nearby, beggars, terrible traffic jams, a crowded beach.
The apartments themselves are decent, quiet, have everything you need, you can't hear the neighbors.
But...
from the upper floors, steers will fly to your things that you dry on the balcony.
The complex is good! But it all depends on which apartment owner you get to. We booked through Booking, everything seems to be fine. But! We were unlucky with those people who receive guests! And generally with a service culture! Like, here's a room for you, and the rest doesn't concern us! That's putting it mildly... Check if there is anything to compare it with!
A lot has been written about elevators, but we still did not expect such a pandemonium. If you leave from the 1st floor after standing in line, it is possible. That's more difficult from the intermediate floor. When we waited for the elevator from the 30th floor for 15 minutes, we were glad to even go upstairs first and stop on almost every floor, because otherwise you don't know when you will get into the elevator at all. We walked to the sea in less time than we went down. Although we were lucky a couple of times and got to the room quickly. If you forget something, you won't come back again.
We have read the reviews, we agree with all the disadvantages. We also did not clean the room even once, although we came to the reception every day. They couldn't even change towels and bring toilet paper, even though they were fed with promises.
Thanks, of course, for the mini fridge. Milk and yoghurts could fit in it, and fruits had to be eaten immediately, as they did not fit.
There were such little things as the sink fell out and the shower flowed, but these problems were fixed quickly.
There are places where you don't want to go back, it's this hotel. Although the rooms are pleasant, it is clear that the employees are trying their best. But they can't serve that many people. Another minus is music from restaurants until 2-3 nights, it is impossible to sleep, there is a rumble, we did not get enough sleep.
Among the advantages: sea view, comfortable mattress, modern stove and good Wi-Fi in the room.
Batumi is a wonderful city, I really liked it, only the hotel spoiled the experience.
A new residential complex, but just to see, I categorically do not recommend living (. To enter the room or exit, you need to pass the test: waiting for the elevator, which can take up to 30 or maybe more minutes. We didn't wait any longer, we went on foot. Perhaps, when the issue of elevators is resolved, this will be a good complex. There is also always a full reception of people(
The complex itself is built in a place where there are no parking spaces at all. There's no way to get a taxi. Constant traffic jams. As a result, it was a disappointment.
Good rooms, sooo high, those who do not like heights are better off staying lower. When the doors are open, you can hear the noise and music from the embankment. And sooo many people, 70 rooms per floor and 51 floors.
From the first seconds of visiting this building, an unpleasant impression remained. Firstly, some buildings are unfinished, but people are already settling in them. There is no infrastructure at all. No pools and other things that are in the pictures. In the lobby, you constantly meet people with garbage bags who have to take out the trash themselves.
There are always queues of a dozen people at the reception. It takes from 5 to 15 minutes to wait for the elevator.
They can't cope with such a load at all.
When booking, you need to somehow understand where exactly you are booking: at the Orby City hotel itself or from private owners of apartments. We studied hard, so that our reservation was not found at the hotel and we had to search through Yandex Support for people through whom we need to check in.
After seeing the room, we eventually canceled the reservation and checked into another hotel, which we are incredibly glad about.
The hotel is not about anything!!! We arrived from Kazakhstan and booked through booking. We have received confirmation. We arrived and waited for the elevator to the 37th floor for 20 minutes. There are 6 elevators in the lobby, only 4 of them work. There is a constant advantage. If possible, they will be full. If he goes down, he'll have to lose another hour. You can't see where the elevators are on the floor. But it's not that scary. The most terrible thing was this settlement. The manager was outraged for a very long time where we got such a price on the booking!!! From where do I know that!!! The main thing is that the reservation is confirmed by the hotel. I'm surprised where they were looking. After that, the manager started screaming hysterically, and took payment more than was indicated by the booking. With words, you don't need a market here!!! He did not give us a set of third bed linen, although we indicated that there would be three of us. After payment. Until we got to the room. My reservation was stupidly canceled by the hotel on its own. And they indicated the full withdrawal of the amount for the refusal of the room. I was shocked. There is a main meeting in fact, but the reservation was canceled. I wrote and called the booking office. There are zero reactions. The number was given out completely different from what was indicated in the booking. I wanted to leave a review about the arrival, but due to the cancellation of the reservation, I could not leave a review. In general, I do not advise you to stay there. Even the fact that they are on the first line of the beach. The rest was ruined. We left there in the morning as soon as we woke up. I am glad that I did not extend it and immediately indicated that there would be only one night. Another day there would spoil your vacation in Batumi forever.
The hotel is not bad, but the owners who rented it out, it's simple... Overall, the rooms are clean and everything is fine. But when booking a room for 4 people, the 2nd slept on a steep bed, one slept on a dirty folding chair, and the last slept on a broken collapsed cot(
47...51-storey building, corridor apartments. The design is multi-storey, the top of the building looks like a springboard towards the sea.
6 elevators. Therefore, it can be difficult to wait for vertical transport. Getting down from the 35th floor with your feet is faster.
It is illuminated by a bright multicolored illumination.
The passage is narrow, there are a lot of cars, horns honking.
The streets are dirty, there are not enough urns.
Rooms are investment apartments, look carefully at the room configuration. Ask all the important points for you in advance. Take the middle floors so that you don 't have to suffer so much with elevators . There are not enough elevators. There is no parking at all, it is better not to go by car, or leave it far away and in a paid parking lot, we were hit by a car and there are no ends to be found. But it is very convenient to go to the beach and all the entertainment is nearby.
The place is great, in the middle of Batumi. Everything was fine with us, we were in October when there were few people, the elevators came quickly, the Internet was excellent, the apartments were clean!
If you got a floor below 10, then you are incredibly lucky, otherwise you will have to spend about 30 minutes a day waiting for the elevator. The rooms are well maintained and clean, the rooms are not cleaned until you ask, take this into account. It may take you about 2-2.5 hours to wait for your number, accept this fact. It is easier to call a taxi a little further from the hotel in order to avoid a long wait for a taxi in traffic, because construction is underway around the hotels.
Upon arrival, there was a feeling that I got into Bombay and later got used to it. Overall a lovely room. Everything you need is available. There were no queues at the elevator (it's not the season), everything is set up for living in the Orbit. The dining room is right in front of the entrance. It saved my life..shops pharmacies, etc. I was satisfied
honestly, for the price that the rooms are offered for, everything was OK. rooms on the sea are cool, but on the balconies everyone smokes and throws steers down, they get to you
constantly clogged drains in the bathtub! nothing helps. It's noisy, especially in the hallway. There are queues for elevators
the rooms themselves are ordinary, normal, with mold!)
We were put in a decent apartment, but for this we had to go through a quest to find an agent and a room card. And this is with suitcases at the ready. The area around is Balagan limited, but everything is within walking distance and the sea is nearby. Yes, you will be waiting for the elevator and not the fact that you will wait. The main thing is not to settle on the first and last floors
We rested in Batumi for the first time, we chose orbi, the apartments themselves are normal, renovated, the condition is not bad, but the elevators are a huge problem, many floors are full and you have to wait for the elevator for a very long time.
The hotel is decent. The location is great. Of the disadvantages, there are few elevators for such a building, there are few parking spaces, but you can find a paid one nearby.
The view from the window is gorgeous, perhaps these are all the advantages. On the downside, the elevators are always clogged. We waited for the elevator from the 41st floor for 51 minutes and went back to the room. I had to go down on foot several times. We got stuck in the elevator twice. Not the most pleasant moment.
A great place to relax on the first coastline. Everything is in the immediate access, lots of shops, cafes.
But if you are a light sleeper, then this is not for you.
The main disadvantage of Orbi is the elevators. The cabin is small and there is no intelligent control system. All this creates huge queues on the first floors, and the inability to quickly descend from the upper ones. Waiting for the elevator at the peak of departure / arrival of guests (from 12 to 15 o'clock) can take up to 40 minutes.
A terrible hotel and here's why:
1. Check-in does not take place through the reception, but through private intermediaries who were surprised by the availability of reservations with us
2. The room was dirty, wi-fi was not working
3. Queue for the elevator
4. We wanted to leave earlier, having lived only a day, we were refunded only ~ 15% of the cost of living. Also, the person responsible for the rental when returning funds said that he absolutely does not care about the reviews, they say we have a bunch of offers blocked, but there are enough others
