It's a small but very pleasant hotel. Of course, they ask for "chocolates" at every step, but the rest left pleasant impressions. The food is great, everything is very tasty and varied. The beach is from the neighboring hotel, a 5-minute walk, there are sun beds and towels. There is a reef right on the beach, many different fish and other beautiful marine life. It takes 10 minutes by taxi from the hotel to the center, but even without leaving the hotel, there are places for walking. The main thing is not to settle for a room on the 1st floor, it is better to give 5 dollars and ask for 2-3, so that there is no high humidity in the room.

It was a nice hotel, small, cozy, the style was not modern, that's why it was chosen, clean, cleaned daily, the staff was excellent, the cook was great, all the food was excellent, mostly Italians from the guests. Of the cons, the animation is not very good during the day, the guests are invited in the evenings, the renovation is no longer fresh, there is something to complain about if you really want to, but they gave us a wonderful room, they don't have their own beach, they take a bus to the beach in another part of the embankment, and it's terrible - this is the main disadvantage. That's why we walked across the street for $5 a day. In total, for 4 norms.

In general, the hotel is not bad, the food is very tasty, quite diverse, 90% of the guests are Italians, so the food is more aimed at them - pizza, pasta, lasagna - all this is available every day.
More about beaches:
Since the hotel is not on the first line, they have to rent a beach near the Marina hotel(...), walk to it for about 25 minutes (across the entire embankment), there is a shuttle service.
BUT I strongly advise against this beach if you come to see the fish and corals. People literally walk up to the buoys (knee-deep), there's a paddling pool, drinks are paid, there are no fish, no corals either
We went to the beach of the Gafi hotel: opposite our hotel there is a gate for access to the embankment, then there are 3 options:
1. Talk to the guards who stand at all entrances to the beach and try to negotiate for money (they asked for 15 dollars for two people to enter the beach)
2. Go into the brazen one as if everything is as it should be (or go through while no one sees), the option is so-so, because you will most likely be kicked off the sun beds, everyone has different towels and bracelets, but if you just want to swim, the option is normal
3. Go far to the right behind the Novotel hotel, there will be a public beach, the entrance for two is $ 2, the place is so-so, but you can more or less safely throw off your things to walk along the beach to the beach where the corals are more beautiful and explore everything there) you will definitely not be driven out of the water

We arrived home only yesterday. We had a rest from December 5-15, 2024. Basically, we are happy with everything. The food is excellent. Lots of meat and fish. There are plenty of fruits too. The attitude of the staff is excellent. Many people understand Russian. Cleaning every day, maybe not so thoroughly, but it will do. And what shapes Ali makes out of towels. You laugh sometimes, what a joke. We laughed with him. The room was normal, the window, of course, is not enough, but you can sleep. The water in the shower is always hot, the hair dryer is working. Bottled water was brought every day. A little negative. With Gafi Beach in front of our hotel, the rental ended just before our arrival. Therefore, I had to take a free minibus to Kalimera beach, about 10 minutes. But there is not always enough space for everyone. We like to walk, so 30 minutes and on the spot. Animation every day. There is a taxi at the hotel, we went to Soho, there and back for only 10 dollars. Our Alyonka chocolates are highly appreciated. Many people were treated. There are shops near the hotel, where you can buy everything from fruits to sweets. In the evening we walked along the beautifully decorated New Year street. Naama Bay is a 30-minute walk away. Overall, we are satisfied. You just need to go there a little earlier, it's better in November, there are winds now and it's cool in the evenings.

In general, I liked everything!
Yes, 4 stars, but Russian-speaking animators are actively working. You have a plan for the evening. Drinks like mojito and rum and Cola are free at the bar.
The food is varied:pizza from the oven, pasta is cooked in front of your eyes, diet food in the form of boiled chicken, lots of vegetables, some fruits, but a lot of flour, rolls and meat are not very good and rarely seafood.
At first, when we arrived at the hotel, the assistant and the head waiter decided to separate and said that our room was almost in the basement, but look at the beautiful room with a balcony, just pay $ 70.
Even though we decided that $10 was more than enough for picking up our suitcases, we said goodbye to him. They didn't tell us enough, konek! But we didn't think so😁
There is also an Arab Misha tour operator near the hotel with a variety of excursions. A very nice man). I bought two excursions from him: diving on a yacht for the whole day and 7in1 for the whole day- camel trains, quad bikes, snorkeling, some kind of oil and lunch. Overall, I liked everything. You can also buy a 16GB SIM card from him for $10. It is very convenient to be connected to the Internet!
The hotel has three swimming pools, one heated. There were enough deck chairs and beach towels provided on the map.
Kalimera Beach itself is a 30-minute walk away or you can take a minibus from the hotel.
I consider their beach to be a big plus, as there is a pantone from which you can jump, as the depth is immediately 3m and the most beautiful fish live in that place. So be sure to get a mask and some coral. There is also a smooth entry into the water, like pebbles first, then sand. There I studied crabs in shells and millions of schools of fish! That's very beautiful.
There are a lot of foreigners in the hotel, the atmosphere is calm, the staff is constantly asking how you are, which makes me sick))) the staff understands and speaks Russian. If you don't have a bracelet, the security is extremely angry and unhappy, but the administrators say they don't worry about it, although it's unpleasant when an angry Arab yells at you.
The weather in mid-January was excellent at +26° before 16.00, after +15+17°. Overall, it's comfortable!

We rested at the hotel in June 2024.
We were delighted with the hotel, it resembles an oriental, colorful palace. The restaurant is not a canteen, but a restaurant: with lamps, carved furniture, responsive waiters. The food is great. Very tasty, varied (chicken and fish always, and beef, kebab, pizza sometimes). Wine only for dinner (specified in the rules), beer always. A huge drawback is hot drinks (cheap tea in bags of "breast collection" and chicory), McDonald's saved - they bought coffee there. Really delicious rice, incredible!
The beach across the street (Gafy hotel) (5 min - spotted), we did not go to another beach by shuttle, we did not see the point and the time was inconvenient for June. The beach and the entrance to the sea are super. Sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge. A ticket for visiting the beach is issued at the reception every day. If you forget, they will send you back, they will not let you go to the beach, this is strictly. The hotel provides towels (free of charge), if you go to the beach early, towels in the evening should be changed to clean ones, in the morning at 8:00 there is no one.
Animation: Very strange. We have been to many countries, we have always heard that she is the best in Egypt. They gave the lowest rating. Bad. The animation is to gather people to the club at 23:00 and return by 2:30. The animators themselves do not want to dance, they arrange discos only if you persuade them, but immediately run away from the dance floor, as if they are shy. We had to lift the animators themselves from their chairs and take them out to dance.
They arrange a show while you are having dinner (at 20:00-20:40) Belly danser, Africa show and karaoke. Contests have always been disrupted because the hotel is mostly foreigners (there are very few Russians) and this format does not suit them.
We haven't seen any children's animation.
As for the clubs, we went to the Buddha Bar, worthily! People dance a little, mostly smoke hookah and drink, but the dance floor is free. This is a plus if you want to dance specifically.
The location of the hotel is excellent: Naama Bay - on foot along the beautiful promenade for 25 minutes, SOHO - went with the animators ($ 5 per person included a transfer, which is very convenient), the Old Town - about 15 minutes drive.
There is a wonderful MANGO shop next to the hotel. Low prices and a huge selection (there is Sberbank online).
We went on an excursion to Ras Mohammed, I liked it, but the food is very poor (little and not tasty). We took $25 at the hotel itself.
The guide offered for $40. He freaks out terribly if you don't buy anything from him. He threw a tantrum at us, refused to exchange contacts in case of force majeure. We were shocked...(Sun MAR)
Cleaning every day is not bad. But our cleaner stole our shampoo and hair mask. The staff is not responsible in such situations. They hung a swimsuit near the room, because not all rooms have balconies, the swimsuit was stolen.

I haven't read about this anywhere in the reviews, so I was surprised ...

We stayed at this hotel in September 2024, I recommend the hotel, excellent varied menu, large well-maintained territory, daytime animation every day, in the evening three times a week, there is a Russian-speaking staff. Of the disadvantages, the quality of room cleaning, the floors were not washed, dry cleaning and towel change every day, our air conditioner periodically broke down, the master came instantly and after 10-15 minutes everything worked! The beach is within walking distance, not a bad reef, small but there is something to see, as well as the bus from the hotel takes us to Kalemara beach, we did not like it there at all. The main pedestrian street is 15-20 minutes on foot, a convenient location is located. There are a lot of Italians staying at the hotel, Italian music is playing)))) We were satisfied! Have a good rest!

Great hotel. There are 3 swimming pools on its territory, as well as many mini-bars and shops.
The food in the restaurant is delicious; it takes 7-8 minutes to walk to the sea. There is also a free shuttle service to the far Kolimera beach.
There are not so many Russian speakers on the territory of the hotel, but despite this, the staff treats them very politely and with humor (of course, in moderation).
Of the cons: the TV does not work in the room; the lack of Wi-Fi on the territory of the hotel for more than 2 days.
As for rooms 223 and 224, they overlook the warehouse and the so-called staff rest area. Therefore, when 10 people gather there, it becomes so noisy that even a working air conditioner does not save (and it is not so quiet). But this only applies to the two numbers listed above.
And so, in principle, the hotel is very good. I recommend.

Good afternoon! We stayed at this hotel from November 30th to December 10th, 2024. The territory of the hotel is small , but well maintained . And if someone has nowhere to go, please go outside and walk , there is a place to take a photo! There are 3 swimming pools on the territory, one of them is heated . A Christmas tree was decorated at the reception! There are a lot of paintings on the walls, a pleasant atmosphere!I really liked the food at the hotel, it was delicious and varied! The sea is clear. . the entrance is good , we swam with a mask , there are a lot of fish , the beauty is extraordinary . I recommend this hotel, I will come back again!

It is better not to go to the sea, but to walk across the street to the beach of another hotel, but it is worth it. A sandy beach with a wonderful entrance and full of nice sun beds and chairs. I went with a friend from 5.12 to 14.12.
The hotel was fully occupied on these dates, and as long as we arrived at the hotel on 5.12 at 3:00 p.m., we were able to check in only at 13:30. No chocolate bar and $10 did not work. The grannies came with us at night and they were ready to pay $ 30 to be settled at 8:00, but the promises to settle lasted until 11:00. As a result, they were given $100 and the room with the balcony is yours, but there are no others.
I think that was the only thing that disappointed me a little.
Since we spent the night in the lobby, we were able to meet more Russian speakers in the afternoon, from whom we learned that the nearest Gafi beach was not accessible to us and only Kalimera remained.

You can walk to Kalimera in 20-30 minutes in the morning and return by bus for lunch. If anything, you can ride standing up in the hotel minibus.
Other hotels are not always allowed to go to the water along the boardwalk, I went through the Sewer in the morning, or I went through the face with a brick and went straight to the water and across the sand to my beach.
Kalimera has two entrances to the water: gentle and shallow, the buoys have a reef; immediately to the depth from the pier and you can swim to the right to the backwater of another hotel. We stopped at room 319. He is further away from the reception and does not receive Wi-Fi there. The shower didn't drain very well and the shower doors didn't close tightly, but it didn't spoil the vacation. This room has a small enclosed balcony, which looks more like a mini-room, with windows on both sides. Things dry better there, because the bathroom is still less ventilated. The beds have amazing mattresses and small, rather stiff pillows.

But someone may get high on the contrary. Therefore, the staff mostly speaks bad Russian, but there is a manager who speaks well. We always communicated with the others via Google translit. We talked with Italians from Milan, Serbs from Belgrad. Everyone likes the hotel
1) The territory:
3 swimming pools, the hotel seems to be divided into 3 parts around these pools. There is usually no one in the pools, the hotel seems to be empty during the day. But in the evening, dinner is already crowded. The hotel is small, from the street it looks like a spa or a cafe😅
But I like such compact hotels, like villas.
2) Location 🔥
Within walking distance of Naama Bay (min 15), to the right of the McDonald's hotel, to the left is a store, a pharmacy, and in general a bunch of commodity stores where you can buy anything.
3) Rooms:
The rooms and the hotel itself are old, but you can see there were many cosmetic repairs already. I read that there was a renovation in 2020, but not all rooms yet, only half so far. The hotel itself is clean, the room cleaning is excellent.
When the room was cleaned, bottled water was brought. They clean it at least every day, if you hang a sign.
4) The hotel has two beaches: one Gafy Resort 4* beach across the street. There is animation and a paid bar, but everything is very cheap at the bar (food, fresh drinks)
The second beach of Kalimera, where Solymar takes its own, is near the Lido hotel. Carries a transfer.
For all beaches, you need to take a ticket at the reception desk before going. Admission is free with coupons. We only went to the Gafi Beach. The beach is big, the entrance is good, animation on the beach.
5) Nutrition. There is less variety of choice than in Solamar, but what is very tasty. Since the hotel is tailored to Italians, the menu is in Italian: pizzas, shawarma, pasta in the barbecue area, chicken, beef, squid in panerovka, crabs even once, fish rarely, or I did not pay attention (I do not eat) burgers, cola, fanta, sprite, schweppes original.
There are many different pastes and vegetables, some delicious rice and many of its variants. Pastries are like everywhere, sweets are like everywhere. Melon fruits every day, dates, bananas in chocolate, orange, apples.
Our conclusion, we liked it more than in Solymar, apparently, the only thing is that Solymar wins only in terms of food, but not significantly.
I don't know what I haven't offered this hotel to anyone before, but if there are last-minute tours or people are on a budget, then it's a very cool option. A woman from Minsk came with us, she was also satisfied, she said she liked everything too.
It is also pleasant that the staff is all absolutely friendly, they always come to the rescue right away, solve everything at once. Every day everyone asks how you are and generally just small phrases there.
On the day of the eviction, our bracelets were removed, but we were allowed to have lunch at the restaurant before leaving, and we ourselves offered, we did not ask.
Also, on the last day, they gave out a free ticket to the beach, although they wrote everywhere in the reviews that they do not give coupons on the last day of rest, you can get to the beach only for $. But for some reason it wasn't like that with us)
If there are tours here at a burning price, there are $ 1000-1300 for two, then you can fly ✈️
These are not Albatrosses, do not compare with chain hotels, this is a different price category and it is good for its category (budget) 👍

I stayed at the *Oriental Rivoli Hotel & SPA*— and it was a failure.
I don't understand how this place was given 4 stars at all. The staff is rude from the doorstep and comes up with idiotic "jokes". The first question when checking in is: "Where is my chocolate?" The second: "Do you speak Arabic?" Is it a service? It's just a disgrace.
The room is ordinary, bright, but the shower is like in a cheap motel, no comfort.
Beer in the bar (ala kart), which must be paid for separately, is served warm.Yes, yes, in Egypt, in the heat — warm beer.
The food is for three. It may be worth 4 stars, but the pleasure of it is zero.
I don't recommend it to anyone.Wasted money, ruined vacations, and a lot of negativity.

After reading the reviews and watching the bloggers on YouTube, we decided to buy a ticket immediately for 22 days (July 2024). We were satisfied with the food - there was meat, chicken and fish (necessarily grilled, stewed or baked and boiled chicken). Vegetarians and those with weak stomachs also had something to choose from. Fruits are usually 3-4 types. The staff speaks Russian very poorly, but the desire to please you makes communication easier. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant, although all the guests are from different countries. There is practically no Wi-Fi, buy a SIM card, you can do it right at the hotel in a cheap store. There's a show every night. The rooms overlooking the pool are noisy, because music plays loudly after lunch when you want to sleep. The cleaning is normal, daily. But the most important thing that will make us come back here is the beach from the Gafi Hotel in Naama Bay. The water is clean, the approach is sandy, the fish are diverse in large numbers and safe (there are no winglets, sea urchins, stone fish). We saw two shy moray eels and 4 stingrays. If you do not stick your fingers in them and do not try to step on them, then a good frame on the phone is provided, just buy a silicone case, coral slippers and a mask for the whole face. All this is sold at a low price in a shop on the beach next to the Swissotel. We have been using our inventory for about 8 years annually. In general, we recommend it, but there is a drawback: there is no pedestrian crossing over the 6-lane highway to the beach and besides, the road to the beach is gravel and dirty.

The beach is on coupons, we walked for 5 minutes, close, in the morning, just in case, we took a picture of the coupon, suddenly they won't let us in the evening, but there were never any problems, you say the room number and go through. There is no bar on the beach, we knew in advance, we took water and beer once, no one checked the bags, I also read that they were checking))) I don't know, maybe I was unlucky with the guards, but I didn't see anyone rummaging through bags. The beach is good, there are enough sunbeds.
3. Rooms. Clean, pretty, but there is practically no window, they did not change the room, in general you can get used to it) the furniture is beautiful. The pillows are uncomfortable, very hard, but it's like that) the shower cabin is large, nothing leaks anywhere. The cleaning is normal, it was not dirty, water is brought every day, did she specify for sure if it is free? They said yes, there are 2 bottles in the room every day for free, well, we'll check it out))))
4. Staff, bar, cocktails. Everything is fine, the beer is delicious, you can drink cocktails, they are poured into plastic large glasses, not glass, but you can at least take 4 pieces in one hand, the main thing is to carry them away. There are no problems.
5. There are 3 pools, clean.
6. It will be difficult for families with children here, there is no children's zone, there is no animation for children.
7. Mostly Italians relax in the hotel, quietly, calmly, there are no queues either at the bar or during meals, which pleases.

We were in early March.
Of the advantages:
No bugs, no cockroaches, no mosquitoes, no wildlife! 3 pools with different depths. The food is good, there was no poisoning. There is a scheduled round-trip transfer to the beach. We took everything included. Alcohol is not bad. There is an entertainment program every evening. It ends at about 22.00.
Of the cons:
Freshly squeezed juices are paid.
From meat and fish, only chicken, turkey, lula, mackerel and something similar to belyashi with small minced meat.
If you walk to the beach, it takes 10-15 minutes, along an abandoned road, there is sand and pebbles. There are cameras and at the beginning the police are sitting in a booth.
The hotel staff, before leaving, for some reason brazenly asked "where is my Alyonka" - they love Russian chocolate very much. Breakfast at check-out is written on a piece of paper in the room for free, as a result, 6 bucks were charged at the reception.
There was a default on the 5th-8th of March. Now the Egyptian pound is not 30-33 but 50. In relation to the dollar.
Entertainment life is a bit far away, clubs, a shopping center and a market are within a 30-minute walk, it opens in the evening.it works until one o'clock in the morning.Bargain boldly! The Egyptians are very deceiving!!

We really liked it! The rooms are different, but the architecture and location of the buildings with rooms are amazingly thought out, the rooms are quiet and cozy. The design is original, a la - "Shahirezada Palace", lived of course, but it's cool!

The food is normal, the rice is very tasty, the vegetables, the salads are always fresh. When we were there, it was the season of guava and dates, there were always oranges and melons available. We took our ground coffee with us. There are always three types of juices. We don't drink alcohol, but the bartender is lovely!!!))) I invented non-alcoholic cocktails with a bang!))) There was enough of everything. The pools are clean. The sun beds in the hotel on the pools are normal, the umbrellas are mobile, new.
The animators tried their best. DJ - FIRE!!!!!! There was some kind of entertainment every night!

It was cool! The animals from the towels were worth the tip. It was not hot and there were few people. The beach is for children. We had a rest with a friend at this hotel from 02/23/2013. I really liked the hotel with beautiful architecture, very pleasant, responsive staff who speak excellent Russian and English. They settled in for an additional fee. A fee for a great room with a view of the pool.Everything you need is at the hotel. The food is varied and delicious, if you go on excursions, collect rations with you. It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach.
Every day the hotel hosts shows from 20.00 , there have always been different shows during the entire stay. If you come alone to this hotel, you will not be bored, there are excellent animators Felix (speaks excellent Russian and English), Anna (Russian-speaking) and Mika. They will occupy your evening with an interesting program. Every day, accompanied by them, you can visit the best nightclubs of Charm.
Every morning, the guys do exercises on the beach.

We lived in this hotel from March 15-24, 2023, we chose it spontaneously a day before check-in.
We arrived from Cairo at 10 a.m.
At the reception, they did not understand at first, they explained poorly in English, they thought that it was 10 minutes to the beach by minibus, which runs according to the schedule, they wanted to refuse. but the manager came up , showed everything, explained and we stayed...
It turned out there are two ways to warm the "belly" with a walk to the sea (5-7 min) or on their transfer, for free, but we never went there.,
We liked the hotel, in the Arabic style, they gave us a room (302) without extra charge, improved, checked in before the scheduled time, breakfast was not allowed for us, but we got off the road, we were hungry, we came to some the "boy" was asked and they brought us three plates of all sorts of goodies))
In the future, breakfasts, lunches and dinners were quite decent, every day a new theme (Italian, Arabic ...)
Russian russians were few, in our stay we saw only 7 people (me and my husband, two from Moldova, one from Israel, an Italian (ex-Russian) with an Italian husband). By the way, about Italians) there are a lot of them there, there were few Russian-speaking people.

The pleasant territory of the hotel. There are two beaches that Oriental guests are allowed to visit - Delta and Marina. We went to Delta, located a 12-minute walk away. The beach is not big, the sun beds are close together, but this is not the main thing. The main thing is a convenient access to the sea, crystal water, there are coral reefs with a variety of fauna that can be observed without a mask.
We rested in the middle of December, so we had only 4-5 hours for a beach holiday: from 11:00 to 15:00-15:30.
Plan for mandatory additional expenses: for early check-in - a $ 10 baksheesh, for room cleaning - here the fee could not be found out. Employees, apparently, are very fond of Russian chocolate, as they constantly ask for it. We were treated to sweets "Alyonka" and "Belochka", for several days it was enough to clean the room))
If you want to live in silence, ask for a room away from the main building and the food court.
