We didn't live in this place, but we went here to eat twice a day every day. The cook has worked in a five-star hotel for many years, so he knows his business. He prepares both Lankan and European cuisine. Fish and seafood were brought to him from the market, and he cooked it by the time with a Bang for ridiculous money. We will definitely come back.
The windows do not fit tightly and, accordingly, various insects (beetles, ants, huge cockroaches) crawl in, mosquitoes fly in and small lizards run along the walls. The electricity is turned off during the day and therefore the fan does not work, it is hard to breathe in the room, you get covered in sweat. Breakfast is monotonous, the cook is cheerful and talkative, tries to please, but does not cook tasty. The restaurants that are located 100 meters from the hotel were saved. A new hotel is being built nearby. It takes about 5 hours to drive from the hotel to the airport by car. The ocean here is quite clean and moderately calm, a little further along the coast you will come across garbage, there is a lot of it here. A poor country, a lot of beggars.
