Not a bad hotel, convenient location (Sultanahmet district, the main sights of Istanbul are within walking distance), friendly staff and delicious breakfasts.
Of the cons: most of the rooms are small birdhouses, some do not even have a window (although this is the norm for the center of Istanbul).
The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one in the spa, the second on the roof (outdoor), both small, open without heating and you can't swim in it in the cold season.
There is also a tiny hammam in the spa.
Access to the spa is free for hotel guests.
Massage therapist and cosmetologist services are available for a fee.
In general, the price-quality ratio is consistent.
Nice hotel. Located in the old center of Istanbul. Most of the sights and historical architectural buildings are within walking distance. The breakfasts are decent, there is something to choose from. The staff is friendly and courteous. The hotel has two swimming pools and a sauna. Cons of the hotel: small rooms, very good audibility outside the walls of the room, there is no view from the window, as in most hotels in Istanbul due to the large number of buildings. Thanks for more good visitors.
The hotel is very well located, the historical center. Tourist spots can be reached within a 20-minute walk. From the upper terrace there is a beautiful view of the Bosphorus. The rooms are clean, cleaning every day. A variety of breakfasts. There is a private transfer to the airport. But if you are not satisfied with the price, you can call a taxi. In our case, it was 50€ and 35€.
I had a vacation with my children in this hotel last year. We were very satisfied with the service, the staff is polite, attentive, many Russian speakers, the food is varied and very tasty. I recommend it to everyone.
The hotel pulls in 3 stars, and probably 4 stars gives it a mini spa and a mini outdoor pool.
I didn't like the breakfasts, they are monotonous, there is a lot of mayonnaise in salads, no fried eggs, no pancakes, cheesecakes, a lot of vegetables and cheese.
The rooms are small, overlooking the construction site of the neighboring house.
I asked them to get out.
The location is great! Metro station, railway station, high-speed tram, attractions within walking distance.
There is a cool pool on the roof, but it is small, from 8 to 10 there are no people yet, the view of the Bosphorus is great!
We were in early October 2024, unfortunately, the recreation area with a rooftop pool was under renovation, so we could not admire the Bosphorus . The rooms were given on the ground floor with a view of the construction site, and of course the rooms are tired. But since Istanbul is for festivities and the time spent at the hotel is not enough..... But still ...photos are more beautiful than reality, it's a pity... The location is excellent within walking distance of many historical locations, which was very convenient.
A great hotel in the center of Istanbul! Among the advantages are the location (all the sights of the center are 5-15 minutes on foot), polite and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts, a gorgeous view terrace (although it has not yet been fully launched in early April), comfortable beds, good cleaning daily.
Among the disadvantages- the construction site is nearby, the rooms are small in size, the ceilings are low, but this is not critical. Water is not provided (only a small bottle on the day of arrival), so stock up, there is a minimarket nearby. And it's also a pity that the staff does not speak Russian.
In general, we are satisfied with the hotel - in the center, but it is not noisy, just in a corner) a tour with a flight for 5 nights came out 70 tr for two. I will recommend it to friends and colleagues!)
Advantages of the hotel:
1. A good breakfast (you will definitely find something to eat). The soup of the day, sausage sausages, and the type of potato change.
2. Spa area with indoor pool + slightly warm steam rooms
3. Rooftop pool (very small and cold but still)
4. Not a bad bathroom
5. Within walking distance of the sights, Marmaray and the marina
6. YouTube was working. We were able to watch Russian-language broadcasts from our account)
Minuses:
1. Since this is the historical part of the city, all cafes are overpriced
2. It is inconvenient to get there - from the metro on foot 30 minutes through the Bazaar, or from the metro you need to take a tram (
3. We took an economy room - it's terrible. All that there are light sources is 1 small lamp on the wall. Because of the darkness in the room, you want to sleep all the time. You can only breathe with the air conditioner on. If you open the window, you can enjoy the general ventilation and the screams of the neighbors. The window does not face the street - there will be another blind one in front of it, about a meter and a half from yours.
4. There is a rooftop pool and sun beds, of course, but there is no staff. Sometimes, when we were lucky, we were given towels. The view from the roof is rather a plus - the panorama of the Bosphorus. The depth of the pool is 1.5 m. the diameter of the meter is 3.5
5. Toilet paper was never given. Once they took it from the cleaner themselves :/
6. The key cards were constantly buggy. As a result, there were 5 pieces on hand, of which all worked in turn.
We took € 526.50 for 6 nights at the booking. A hotel of this quality can be bought cheaper. I can only recommend it if the price is low.
The location is good, within walking distance of all the sights of Istanbul. We had a room with a French balcony, which is a huge plus. Wi-Fi works perfectly, the rooms are clean, cleaning every day (on request). The only drawback: the breakfasts are meager, not tasty and monotonous.
Not a bad hotel. Prices are 30% lower than the same hotels in the area. There was a hitch with the service. The maids could not clean the room for 2 days. There was also a problem with the room. We paid for a 2-bedroom bed, as a result we got a room of 2 single beds. I asked the administrators to change the number for 4 days and only after 4 days it was changed to us. Controversial emotions after the visit. There is a good spa, the pool is cold, the baths are barely warm, closes early. The conference room is small, the lobby is also small, there is nowhere to sit with friends in the evening.
The hotel is very conveniently located in the old center. The standard room is not large. The breakfasts are not great, but there is a choice. You won't stay hungry. There is a swimming pool and a sauna for free
Small rooms with old furniture and plumbing. We were given a room with a view of the construction site, ugh... the staff does not speak Russian. Breakfast for 3 out of 5
For the second year in a row, they cheat with numbers. We pay for a normal room, they give us a two-by-two birdhouse on the spot. I'm angry that I fell for it a second time 😤

The hotel is good.Due to the 5+ location, many attractions are within walking distance, as well as metro and trolleybuses nearby. The breakfasts at the hotel were quite satisfactory, even considering my diet menu)
I decided for myself that next time I would stay at the same hotel.
The photo shows a side view of the Bosphorus from room 510!
Thank you for the comfort of ORKA ROYAL 🫶🏻
Everything is fine, but they didn't bring water and soap bottles every day. The food was very tasty, the quality was excellent. The staff is polite and nice ☺️

We stayed at this hotel from June 2 to June 7, 2024. Disappointment. Firstly, we were accommodated on the 6th floor of the hotel, where one part was inhabited by guests, and the second was renovated during our stay. Secondly, the pool on the roof of the hotel was declared (open), in reality, it was also restored and repaired, which we were not informed about when booking and confirming. And thirdly, the breakfasts were terrible.... The only plus is the location of the hotel in the center of Istanbul, within walking distance of attractions such as St. Sophia Cathedral, etc. and next to very good tripedweiser restaurants such as Restohan
In general, the hotel is not bad by Turkish standards, but the rooms are tiny, the beds are tiny. On 2 double beds with difficulty with 2 small skinny children fit. Breakfast was not struck by the variety. But normal. The rooms were cleaned every day, but a little dusty.
A hotel in the old center of Istanbul. All the sights are nearby. Excellent breakfasts. Comfortably. The prices are reasonable. We liked it. We were in April 2023.
The average hotel is appropriate for the price. The bass is small

Be sure to book in advance, a good hotel, in a very convenient location, there are many places nearby that are worth visiting in Istanbul) there is even TNT 😁
Convenient location, but very small rooms, instead of the stated 20-22m. - 15-16m. There is no wardrobe, there is not a single shelf or bedside table in the bathroom. In general, there is nowhere to put things. The floors are either not washed or very poorly washed. The bed is changed every 3 days, towels are changed daily. Tea, coffee, sugar are not replenished, we had to take care of them every day and ask for them ourselves. There is also very good audibility in the rooms.Excellent swimming pool, sauna and hammam. We were also pleased with the breakfasts, everything is delicious and quite varied. Overall, the hotel is not bad.
The location is excellent--the main attractions are within walking distance, near the Serkegi railway station, Marmaray metro station, tram stop, comfortable beds in the room. 4 for the view from the window...
