The unexplored temple in the village of Heit/ Heiti is the Archangel Church of approximately the 16th—18th century. It is one of the ten largest Christian churches in South Ossetia that are still preserved. During the war in 2008, the dome and spire of the Church of the Archangel were damaged by shelling, but the church survived. In addition to the church, the cemetery also survived. Fences are in place, tombstones are not damaged either
