Great place to have a nice dinner with good friends. Simple pleasures of quality Armenian/Levantine cuisine. Arguably the best lahmajoon in town. A worthy selection of mainstream Armenian wines.
This is without exaggeration one of the best restaurants in Yerevan!
Absolutely amazing dishes (delicate khachapuri, delicious Yerevan salad, amazingly delicious gata), friendly and friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
I definitely recommend you to visit!
In general, I liked it
Very tasty lamajo and chicken soup
The prices are certainly above average
The service was fast
We wanted to order khinkali (they are very praised in the reviews), but the order is only from 5 pieces
OK, we agreed (there were 2 of us)
They asked for at least different tastes to try - it is also impossible
Why do we need 5 identical ones?
They did not make a concession
I'm lowering the score for this
It's love at first sight!!! The cuisine is amazing, especially the fried khinkali!!!! People!!! That's something!!!! Beautiful interior, very fast and friendly service!! We will definitely, more than once, be there!! Armenia, I love you!!!
Here, the hostess will not speak to you in English, diligently pretending that she does not understand Russian. Here, two Armenian women with glasses, enthusiastically discussing with each other and with someone else on the phone "which artist is more impressionistic - Tadevosyan or Shabanyan", do not pick salad with kale, asparagus and blueberries with forks, but eat lakhmajun with meat and cheese with appetite. Here, "millennials" in gold chains smoke, smoke, smoke, and drink not buckwheat raf, but pitch-black coffee from Turkey, and how can I not remember the dialogue from "Men in Black-3":
— Oh my God, this is not coffee, but resin.
— Of course, he's just been ground.
There is no need to count calories here, you will still get lost, and the sweetest waiter Armen himself will accurately assess your gluttony abilities, and tell you when it's time to stop ordering dishes. Here, even Miss Bok will affirmatively answer that she has not stopped drinking cognac in the morning, because there is nothing more magical than hiding from the drizzling rain under the awning on the veranda, wrapping herself in a carefully offered blanket, and savoring the coffee mentioned above, to please herself with a glass of the amber-colored drink brought, after which it will be impossible not to notice that "immediately the world is completely different, and immediately the sun rises, and immediately music and a rainbow draws flowers ..." and further along the text. As for the menu, you can safely use this method:
"Bring everything," he said. — Start from the first line. (c)
Lakhmajun (lomajo), kebabs, ikibir, tolma, tzhvzhik, hashlama, arisa - everything will be of excellent taste. In short, go ahead and have a good time!
Dinner for two, everything is very tasty, a cozy place, the service is excellent. A flatbread (I don't know what it's called, it's with cheese and meat), five delicious hinkals, grilled vegetables and three kebabs with potato slices, cabbage, onions and the like, a bottle of red wine cost 25,080 dirhams. The waiter Armen was wonderful in serving, jokes that were appropriate and unworn for us from St. Petersburg, as well as tips on what to take. I definitely recommend this place for lunch and for a pleasant evening with delicious Armenian wine.
I really liked everything: the food is delicious, the portion is large. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the dish: selected, well-cooked pieces of meat, vegetables, broth - delicious and satisfying. The staff is polite and efficient.
The most delicious restaurant that we managed to visit in Yerevan. Khachapuri, kebabs, chashushuli – everything is fine!
Some people may only have questions about the service. It happens that after calling the waiter, you have to wait quite a long time to place an order or ask for a bill. At the same time, the dishes are brought quickly enough. Well, some waiters may behave unusually for those who are used to more neutral service. They can confuse you with their excessive participation in commenting on the choice of dishes or behavior at the table. But I'm ready to put up with this not all pleasing flavor, because it's really sooooo delicious.
a simple and lovely place with Georgian and Armenian cuisine. without frills, but also without obvious flaws. when you don't want to think, you can go in, take hinkali, khachapuri, soup and everything will be fine. The prices are acceptable. the staff is not the friendliest, but I won't say anything bad about them either.
A wonderful place, kind waiters, funny, didn't even take a tip! I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff for a delicious and fun dinner! I wish you all the best!
Ամենայն բարիք
Delicious coffee, and all the rest of the food too. Nice waiters who joke all the time.
They ate liver roast there, and cream, which is spread on bread. Delicious!
I got the impression that the waiters there just hate the guests))) Maybe you're tired. I was surprised, because usually the waiters try to please, chat, in order to get a good tip)))) everything fell into place when I saw the tip already included in the bill)))) well, that was all)
We often go here to eat because it's really delicious and the atmosphere of the place is not annoying, comfortable and somehow Armenian. But I never liked the staff, they seem to do everything right, but sometimes it takes a very long time (you can wait 25 minutes for the bill) or it's unfriendly. However, really delicious food makes you come here again)
A large varied menu with traditional cuisine. I've been here several times and everything I've tasted was delicious. You shouldn't expect any tricks like molecular cuisine, otherwise it's good. I want to mention khinkali separately. The dough is absolutely fantastic, the spices are slightly different from the usual composition, but still very tasty.
On July 28, Gregory's waiter did not include lamajo in the order. He didn't write down what we ordered, so he forgot. As a result, we waited in vain. Hashlam's soup is too salty, I did not finish it. At the same time, include the service fee in the bill anyway.
If I am in the center, I often go for a portion of delicious food, I can also mention desserts, my husband praises khinkali. The portions are good, the service is pleasant, the waiters speak both Armenian and Russian
A normal Armenian restaurant with traditional cuisine, prices are slightly above average. Everything is quite usual and familiar, you should not expect any dishes in the author's reading here. They cook quickly, the waiters are helpful. I liked the assorted ikibirs and khachapuri the most.
I liked the food very much, but 8 people could not sit at one table, although there were places. After that, the waitress did not want to divide the bill into three families (she agreed only after swearing).
Very, very (!) delicious, we ordered tzhvzhik, lakhmajo, khinkali, but we especially liked the dish called "Good memories". We were surprised to read earlier reviews. The service is good. The order was accepted immediately, and the preparations did not have to wait long either. The staff is very friendly, if necessary, they will tell you everything about the menu. Thanks to Gregory :). Even if the restaurant is fully boarded and your waiter specifically suddenly does not have time to clean something, others come up and help. Come, don't hesitate. It is very tasty and soulful here. The interior is pleasant, the kitchen is clean.
The food is very tasty, the restaurant is atmospheric, but the service is disgusting, an adult man served today, constantly made inappropriate jokes, took away the plates, waited until we put dirty napkins on a plate, I think it's not very correct, asked for 4 khinkali, the waiter, to put it mildly, called us stupid and said that only 5 khinkali can be ordered on the menu.
In general, the service leaves much to be desired
We have been in Yerevan for a little more than a week, and we came here three times, the most pleasant place with delicious food and excellent staff. I haven't eaten such hinkals anywhere, silky dough and a unique set of herbs and spices. Very cool.
The food is delicious, the service is so-so. I ordered a lamajo, I didn't finish half of it, I asked to pack it. The waiter (maybe he's even some kind of manager, an older man with glasses and a very important look) first began to convince me that I should finish now, otherwise it would be cold and tasteless, after I insisted on my own, with a dissatisfied face took away my food, and then with such with a dissatisfied face, as if I had personally offended him, he brought me a package. And this is despite the fact that initially, when we took an empty table, on which there was no reserve, we were asked to move, because we had to move three tables for one company, which we did absolutely without any problems and a dissatisfied face. After such a service, there is no desire to return. Apparently, the fact that there is always a full boarding in the institution without me allows the staff to behave disrespectfully to their guests. There is no smell of famous Armenian hospitality. Oh yes, there was a long blond hair on the grill in Suluguni.
We have been living in Yerevan for 3 years, we are considered regular customers of this institution, we know all the waiters, all the dishes, everything is very tasty and the portions are not small), and in principle, so are we! Today, on 02/19.23, we decided to go to a barbecue and khinkali, have lunch with beer, by the way, Cilicia draught is served here too very tasty (in a chilled mug), but I do not drink alcohol, my husband went to them for his beloved Cilicia)When a male waiter or bartender took the order (I had not met him before), I asked if you had non-alcoholic beer (the answer was no), to which my husband said I could buy and bring 1 jar, is it possible? ( we will pay ) to which the waiter said no! You can't have your own, drink a Coke, I told him in response, I don't drink Coke.... Well , then drink water ! CUSTOMER FOCUS! I would really like the review to reach the higher management! We were ready to buy 0 beers at our own expense, pay at the institution as for your beer , and eat accordingly) And when the waiter answered , we got up and left) For 3 years, the first case with a waiter in this institution .....
We went here 3-4 times, because the institution was located next to our house. A restaurant with very tasty food and reasonable prices. The portions are good, especially the salads. I really want to put 5 stars for this, but the attitude of the staff takes away 3 stars - you can safely wait until the menu is brought for 10 minutes, then another 20-25 until the order is accepted. The food is taken out relatively quickly, but they may forget something. Our personal record is that after we ate everything, we built the Leaning tower of Pisa for 15 minutes out of dirty dishes, which were simply ignored and not taken away, then I couldn't stand it anymore and asked for the bill. The Leaning Tower of Pisa remained, and the bill was not taken out for 20 minutes. But when I came up to the bar and politely asked how they would react to the fact that we would leave now without paying, everyone abruptly stirred))
And the most fun thing in this situation is that they still left their 10% for the "service"))
P.S. All this was mainly on weekdays, when there was no steam and half of the tables were empty
During our week-long stay in Yerevan, we visited this cafe several times. Absolutely everything was fine, I didn't want to go to other places. The food is delicious - khinkali, lahmajun, roast - everything is on the level, grilled vegetables are great! Beer and wine are excellent. The waiters are efficient, sociable and friendly. There are tables indoors and outdoors. In general, I liked everything!
