There are Ceritelli sculptures in Gagra, which are bright, original, large-scale and have practical applications. As far as I know from the locals, this is Ceritelli's thesis, put into practice.

Bright and expressive stops decorated with placers of colored ceramic fragments are architectural masterpieces that adorn many cities of Abkhazia.
These charming works of art in the Art Nouveau style are the legacy of Zurab Tsereteli. It is said that the idea of adding facade ceramic decor as a leitmotif in all resort cities of the Soviet Union was the topic of his thesis. And they realized it already when the author was a recognizable and respected creator by society.
There is an amazing coffee shop "Brioche" near the bus stop in Gagra. You can enjoy a cup of fragrant drink, a delicious pie and a view of the azure sea right here for hours on end.

I would so like to see all these bus stops restored in the form of marine animals. So beautiful, unusual. There are no such stops anywhere in the world! And in Abkhazia there is!! These are the works of the great Tsereteli!! History.
