A very nice hotel. It is located in a renovated madrasah of the 18th century. We lived for 3 days, portioned breakfasts, it was enough. The room is clean, the linen is not new but clean. In general, the place is very authentic. I don't understand where such negative reviews come from. We really liked it.
A great hotel for your money. It is located in building 18...19th century. The manager is very hospitable. The breakfasts are good and hearty (fried eggs, sausages, vegetables, bread, sweets and tea/coffee). A good view from the roof (there is no railing, so if you are with children, do not let them go there alone).
There are 2 types of rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor: on the ground floor they are cheap, rather unpretentious, without Windows and air conditioning, less space than on the 2nd floor. And mosquito nets do not fit tightly to the window above the door (it is physically difficult to press them normally there, unfortunately), so it is better to close the window at night. There is a hookah in the courtyard (if anything, you can order a Shallet from a nearby restaurant 50 meters from the hotel for 100xum).
The location is excellent: you can go both towards the old town, to glamorous cafes / restaurants, and to cheaper cafes / canteens where locals eat. Across the street there is a shop where you can buy simple food and drinks for small things.
