I have been to the bar with my family several times. I really like everything. They took oysters every time. We tried Kamchatka crab and hedgehogs. The atmosphere is romantic. I recommend you to visit. The family will be satisfied.
I love this place. Authentic, the price tag is adequate for great service and delicious dishes. A great place for dates or just to sit under the oysters in the company. There are few tables, but that's the thing, the guys work for their own pleasure and in their own atmosphere.
Great place! Real oysters from France. They've never been so big and delicious before, although they're an amateur and a connoisseur.
Rich wine list
Excellent service
A wonderful cozy seafood restaurant in European style - 7 varieties of French oysters make it possible to choose the desired nuances of taste, good chablis, fresh and well-cooked mussels in garlic and wine sauce, impeccable service - friendly and without pathos (which is especially valuable)). And a glass of limoncello of their own preparation as a compliment from the institution turned out to be tastier than in Italy - a fresh taste without cloying sweetness and alcoholism.
In general, I was pleasantly surprised to meet such an unusual place for the local culinary tradition in the center of Almaty)
Oyster bar is a pleasant, truly European place in the very center. A good selection of oysters and wine, a menu with an emphasis on seafood.
Wine can be found here for every taste and in this regard, you can not expect disappointment. However, there are questions about food and service.
The first position is a salad with Kamchatka crab, avocado and tobiko caviar. It's quite edible, BUT! A proven way to destroy the taste of high-quality seafood is MAYONNAISE dressing.
Pasta with vongole in garlic and wine sauce. With the sauce and the degree of readiness of the pasta, we did not lose. But the wonderful vongoles turned out to be frankly over-dried.
Now to the service. Very courteous and friendly waiters, quick order acceptance and cooking speed. However, wait for an additional position in the receipt… At the beginning of the evening, we received a compliment in the form of a bread basket and three types of sauce - olive, pesto and dried tomato paste. What was the surprise when we saw an additional 2000 tenge in the invoice for a position that we had not ordered…
This is where the love of oysters began. And you know, in many countries I've eaten them since. And only here there is always a top taste.
In Santrope, the Michelin 4-star restaurant didn't even have seafood next to what you can try here. Personally verified )
Sooooo delicious, exquisite, beautiful! I love places where the music is playing quietly, the atmosphere is inviting, you can have a great time! It's a romantic place for me 💝
A chic seafood restaurant, it so happened that we did not have enough money to pay. The administrator went to a meeting and allowed me to bring the money the next day. But we decided to URGENTLY run to the exchanger. The staff is just great! Greetings from Moscow. We will be in Almaty, we will definitely visit this place again!))
A great place to have dinner!
Excellent selection of wine and seafood, friendly staff, ready to suggest the best items on the menu.
The place itself is small, so I recommend booking tables in advance
A small restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service. The seafood quality is excellent. It's clear that you don't walk around every day, but if you eat oysters or other seafood and fish, this is it
A perfect evening with a dozen oysters and sparkling wine. The waiter and the manager are as competent as possible, for my first time they explained everything, told me, and consulted. 4 types. If this is your first time for oysters, then you will not find the perfect place. The place is intimate, cozy, as quiet as possible.
It's very tasty, I often visit this place. The food and oysters are always fresh. Gastronomically, everything is very tasty! I recommend oysters with white wine to everyone.
It's not a big restaurant in the center. It is located in a room where a janitor used to live for a long time, after which it was transformed into an oyster restaurant.
